Review Sushi Bay - Robina

Consistently good service, nice food. Thank you. Unfortunately they are closed from 23 Feb 2018 in Robina and now in Burleigh Heads.

Ok flavours, but quite pricey. Karage chicken is often over cooked.

focus appears to be around seafood based sushi, it's pretty good - but I would have liked to see more variety

Worst food ever! Ordered a katsudon and took one bite out of it...it was inedible and they charged me for it still

Best sushi by far! Massive variety and consistently good.

Good standard sushi train with relatively decent selection. Staff were friendly and helpful, always happy to cater to our needs. I’ve tried better sushi in the past but as one of the cheaper option this place is great for groups of friends.

Great food but please tell your chefs to stop staring at people eating.. It's really disturbing and makes me and everyone else feel very uncomfortable and creeped out. You don't want customers thinking that the chefs are going to serve you up in a sushi roll do you?

Most sushi places with trains are friendly and attentive. Not this place. Fair enough it was busy when we went, but we weren't offered drinks, no one smiled, there wasn't any gyoza on the menu, the plates were expensive, and the guy at the resister was like a robot when we paid. A "next in line" type of attitude. They are well aware they get the Robina shopping centre crowds, so they probably don't care about giving good service. This is the second time we've been here. Last time it wasn't busy and about 30 minutes to closing. Same type of customer service. Hardly any plates to choose from.

Awful place.. Don't even go there. Ordered seafood ramen, and it came with a bowl of instant noodles. I could have done it better myself, and charged someone less than $14 for a pack of instant noodles. Rubbish.

Overall, it's a nice place but not a great one. I do like the fact that they have an a la carte menu and prices are not bad.

...I have to say that Sushi Bay has its place at RTC. Not because it’s super-fantastic but because it’s cheap and quick and the food isn’t awful either – perfect for a pre-movie snack if all you want is a few bites. Marty and I weren’t going to the movies that night but we did have somewhere else we needed to be so we thought a few plates of sushi would do the trick. Salmon, tuna, avocado sushi ($3.50) The salmon, tuna and avocado sushi was a safe first choice and while I can’t really say the salmon was
