Review Hero Sushi Platinum - Robina

Look very beautiful but not yummyat all. Highly not recommend. You will be so regent. The rice is so dry and hard, the taste is very bad, it seems that the rice is not fully cooked yet. I had to return my sushi because it was so difficult to swallow, (I never did this in my life cos that make me feel so embarrassed) the salesperson was not feel sorry about that and the attitude was very unfriendly, I would never go again.

Pretty good for a quick sushi stop over lunch break while shopping. Staff busy but friendly. They are rushing around constantly. Cooks are really nice and happy to customize to your needs if you ask directly. Everything we had was presented well and tasted good. I would say a little more attention to detail is needed to finesse the food prep wise. A little rough for Japanese sushi. Cleanliness wise counters and train along with plate covers could be a bit cleaner. Priced great with $3.50 plates though.

Came here with my partner . First time having sushi train. He orded his off the menu and i grabbed mine off the conveyer belt. We were happy with our dishes. I absolutly loved the wangyu beef.

Fresh salmon and tuna, they are very delicious. However, the tako sushi and ama ebi sushi was not good, a bit dry. Friendly staff and nice service. The funny part is they’ve got some macarons on the train.

I love this place a lot, probably my favourite train on the Gold Coast! I personally love ordering the grilled (aburi) plates and the fresh tuna rolls/nigiri. Ever since COVID and the increased prices, I definitely think the quality improved. The only thing I would "complain" about (which hardly matters) is it can feel really crowded when you're on the stools since its a really small space to place a drink and the plates, and you have to make sure you don't bump into the people next to you. if you're going, try getting there a tad earlier than the lunch rush to get the little individual seats at the back:)) Otherwise, 100% will keep coming

Worst sushi I have ever been to, I couldn't even finish the plates and left the place disgusted. The avocado tasted old, the salmon was so bad could not be chewed and when we asked the staff they just smiled and provided no comments because they know how bad it is. I do not recommend this place.

Female staff member who takes orders and helps with bill is extremely rude and disrespectful. Sushi itself only ok.

The sushi train specifically is just always closed early, we come to the mall quite regularly and on quiet days I understand getting there at 2 pm and it being closed, but on a weekend when lots of people will be shopping and arriving for a later lunch, you can't get in and eat off the train at 2:30 its just impractical for weekend shopping, couple that with a decent but not outstanding dining experience if you do manage to get in there and its probably a miss rather than a recommendation. also if the train is closed and you have a urgent sushi need the downstairs kiosk is even worse, the sushi rice is almost always chalky and I have never made it through a serve of rolls without at least half of them disintegrating in the packet. sorry but I would give it a miss. the extra star is for the staff that are always polite.
