Review Headricks Lane - Rockhampton

Popped in for an early dinner and it was really good. Ordered the eye fillet which came with seasonal veg, potato gratin and a rich jus. Delicious and beautifully presented.

Came here for a birthday celebration. Vibes of the place absolutely lovely and highly recommend the duck and pork. Plating was gorgeous as well. Ordered a cocktail to share amongst 4 people which was more than sufficient. However, we ordered the steak and were not so impressed as it was a little tough and dry despite it being medium rare and rare. However, staff were apologetic and ready to replace the steaks on the house. We were very impressed by the service and will definitely be back again to try other things on the menu and the drinks.

A great spot for an afternoon drink, we tried the tasting paddle of beers all brewed in house, and had the Fish buns for entree followed by steaks for mains. Overall very lovely time, staff were attentive and the ambience was relaxed, hope locals continue to support through these tricky covid times

I always come here for a good steak. They know how to cook it for you. They have been very consistent in their quality and also very interesting modern menu. Recommended.

This place! Wow, we decided to go out for our mates birthday dinner to headricks lane and boy wasn't it fantastic. Excellent food, well presented and came out fast. Beers were tasty as and they advised us if they didn't have anything on their menu. Many thanks to the chefs and wait staff for a great night. Will be back again.

Great food. Service was a little inconsistent- unfortunately Headricks seem to facing the staff shortages being seen throughout hospitality venues in Australia. Mains came just as we finished entrees, so felt rushed when we were looking forward to a leisurely dinner. Drinks service slow. Staff apologised and thanked us for patience at end of meal - explanation would probably have been better to come earlier rather than at end.

Had dinner here during an overnight trip from Brisbane. Delicious cocktails, mains (steak cooked perfectly) and dessert. The atmosphere is great and definitely recommend going here if you’re in Rocky!

Dined in group of four on a Sunday night aware menu would be pub food only. Selected braised beef cheeks; delivered to table with other meals ... cold. Advised wait staff and meal taken and around 10 mins later meal presented again, hot and very tasty with apologies and the offer of a free drink. Post meal our group ordered coffees only be advised that the machine had just been cleaned and no coffee available. Now there were at least 12 diners still eating, no one had been notified that the coffee machine was tone turned off. The venue is excellent, the staff attentive, customer training is required.

My partner, son and I went for breakfast on Saturday, the atmosphere is wonderful and the staff are friendly enough, however that’s where the positives end. We ordered two coffees, apple juice, croissant with cheese (not toasted; because my son wanted a cheese sandwich, which they couldn’t accommodate) & a scone with cream and jam. Everything came out at different times, they forgot a coffee and scone; even after repeating my order didn’t place an order for the scone. They did offer a free coffee for the mistake, however, the coffee was burnt, I had two sips to many and wouldn’t want another. When the scone was brought out they came with the receipt and questioned our order. Personally, I think that it may be a great bar at night with a meal, definitely not a cafe or a environment suitable for children.

Never had any problems - great service, great food. Lost one star because my absolutely favourite breakfast bacon, caramel ,nut pancake was replaced with pretty bland 'ordinary' pancake...

We enjoyed our meal, service was good and staff were very friendly. We felt we got value for money. I found the lighting a bit dim, I am vision impaired but my husband said the same thing. He also said he didn't really like sitting and facing the wall.

We went for dinner on Saturday night for my niece's 15th birthday. We can't thank the lovely bar staff enough for bringing out a bowl of strawberries & ice-cream with a sparkler & singing Happy Birthday. I know this wouldn't be a customary thing for you guys to do but was greatly appreciated � Thanks again guys!!!

Had my hens party here; the staff were friendly, the meals were quick, delicious and affordable and the drinks were devine! Definitely a place to go if you're planning an event or dinner! 10/10 will go back ��

What is not to love about this place. Marvellous use of space, raw & modern, once inside you have no idea you are not in Melbourne. I had the lamb tacos and I would definitely have that again.

My husband and I have been regularly and every meal and experience has been great. I agree though customer service and food need to be of high quality to reflect on the prices. Keep up the great work.

Beyond amazing - awesome venue, classy, personable and welcoming - the staff go above and beyond and the food is next level amazing... one of the best meals I’ve had in a VERY long time... unexpected and insanely tasting flavour surprises - hats go off to the creative team in the kitchen! We will DEFINITELY be back and will rave about it for a very long time ���

Only new to the town and accidently stumbled by this place but so glad we stopped into the Brewery for food & drinks, was amazing and awesome service to. Thanks guys will be back again �
