Review Gardens Tearooms - Rockhampton

We ordered burgers and they were ok. At $15 a pop I was expecting some fries on the side at least. As much as I love this place, I really wish some money was thrown its way. Took an-out-of-town relative there for a visit and felt embarrassed about the tearoom, toilets and lacklustre state of the Japanese garden. I'm still amazed the zoo is free entry though.

Hi was lovely day up at the gardens celebrating my birthday with some good friends. Lovely food and service from the staff. XO 🎂💐🍹

Rather an average experience, they switched the grill off at 2.30pm so the menu was minimal (they close at 4pm). Thickshake was not thick.. pretty much milk. The servers were friendly though.

Gorgeous place. Coffee has been absolutely rancid both times. Literally tastes like the milk is off. Such a shame. Food alright.

Had a lovely morning tea thank you Wendy for the wonderful service and to Zoey for the coffee couldn't ask for better. Very accommodating as they set tables up as I could not get hubby up the steps. So once again my sincere thanks and pretty sure the ladies from emu park rsl auxiliary enjoyed the morning as well

Absolutely lovely. We took my mum there for lunch and the ladies in the kiosk were fantastic.

5 out of 5 for my coffee made by a girl with her nose pierced, sorry forgot to ask your name. I don't review on coffee if it's not good, as I'm fussy with my coffee. Not expecting that which is why I only ordered a small. But definitely worth grabbing a coffee here if she's working. They do only put half a shot in a small standard so make sure you ask for double shot if you like a normal strength coffee. But big thumbs up. To the people reading this review - online reviews are great, they help small businesses but also approach staff if they are doing a good job and tell them you like what they have done, don't just approach for the negatives. Make a change and give them a friendly boost. Other staff were attentive to customers and keen to follow up when I approached the counter a second time.

Friendly service and quick at the wonderful cafe. The Zoo and gardens are a high light to any age visiting.

Why would you go anywhere else for Breakfast! My son and his fiancé have been visiting from the UK and to day, their last day they chose the The Rooms for Breakfast ! Such great food and lovely place to enjoy the quite in a beautiful natural surroundings! The staff are so lovely! A must do in Rockhampton�
