Review Jamaica Blue - Rockhampton

Lovely food and excellent, friendly service. Was so lovely to see the young team working so well and sharing lots of smiles. So glad we came here for brunch.

Very poor service by staff tables were not wiped when they cleared away cups etc from previous people asked and was ignored by staff. Will not eating there again lots of other clean, lovely coffee shops with friendly staff in stocklands Rockhampton.

Very expensive sandwich with little filling. Service was ok but the personal hygiene of one of the male workers was terrible -=very poor in a service industry and due only to this problem I will not return. Deodorant is a must. Thank you.

Such great coffee with speedy and super friendly service, you can tell certain employees really carry this cafe

Since reopening and changing ownership Jamaica Blue has gone to the dogs. After not eating there for months after having an eggs Benedict that made me sick I had a big breakfast and had to pay $4-5 extra for bacon. Jamaica Blue used to be reasonably priced but it is now a rip off. You pay more for less.

My sisters and I chose Jamaica Blue to have breakfast. Apart from the fact that it was very over-priced, the breakfasts were not what we expected...in a bad way. Firstly, for $4 I received a small very thin piece of raisin toast, it was ridiculous. Next my sister’s ‘Big Breakfast’ for $18 arrived. We noticed that there was no bacon included. When we asked why there was no bacon. The reply was ‘That’s an extra’...for $5! What the! Then my sister’s chocolate milkshake for $6 arrived. It was equivalent to one cup, 250ml in size. My sister then received her eggs on one small piece of toast and the eggs were not flipped as she had requested. So she had to take it back herself to have the eggs flipped. I have frequented Jamaica Blue on a semi-regular basis because I enjoy their soy chai lattes. Unfortunately after this disappointing experience I will not be returning.
