Review Dean St Bakery - Rockhampton

Big range of baked goods, helpful staff. Pies are not huge but the meat fillings were quality while the pastry was delicious & also stayed crisp in the paper bags on the way home. Pepper steak pies are very peppery! Mum loved her chicken mornay pie. Almond croissants are huge and not too sweet.

Absolutely love the service and the arrange of goods at the bakery. Lovely staff members, very well mannered too. Prices may be a little high for the pies, but quality and taste is everything and they surely hit the ball out of the park. Love love love their arrange of pies.

This bakery is AMAZING! Between my partner and I, I think we tried a bit of everything in this bakery and we absolutely loved it all! This bakery has innovative flavour combinations, plenty of vegetarian options and delicious coffee! However, the best part of this experience was the wonderful staff, we were blown away by their service. We will definitely be coming back to Dean St Bakery next time we are in Rocky!

The pies are absolutely delicious and the desserts are incredible. The renovations in the bakery make it so cozy to visit. My partner and I love the products, and as a pregnant lady it satisfies all of my sweet treat cravings. Thank you so much!

After reading the reviews online we thought we were in for something special. We found the steak and kidney pie and the sausage rolls fairly average in flavour as well as being on the small side. Won't make another detour to there. Can only compare it to Gracemere bakery which we found fantastic.

Way back to cairns and stop by rocky and randomly searched for a local good coffee, then I realised it’s more than just a cup, full of surprise with the almond croissant. Best place of the brekkie, drive up to the lookout and a amazing view of rocky. Last and the most important, great work for the staff

Genuine review! First order was the beef brisket pie. Could not eat.! Overcooked and absolutely dry...been in hot box waaay too long. Asked for replacement pie which they happily gave me. Gave me a "curry" pie and choc eclair . One or the other upset my stomach badly.!, 45 minutes later it all started with pain in gut, then sweating, then gas , then started spewing my guts up under a tree. I believe the pies are kept in hot box far past their "safe consumption time" Other people also comment about the "small dried out" pies, which prove they are 'old' pies, and should be thrown out sooner .... or risk what happened to me.! Otherwise the food looks good, especially the sweets and breads.

Usually, I can not fault the amazing product from this bakery. Yesterday after trying to buy my usual cream buns, I was faced with only being able to purchase hotcross cream buns. They were an accquired taste to say the lease, were not eaten.
