Very pleasant place to spend afternoon lunch food was lovely ,well presented friendly staff and pleasant
Lobster and barramundi was overcooked and dry. Risotto and garlic prawns were amazing though and the service is great.
Friendly and attentive staff, I ordered medium rare sirloin and it was perfect. Would recommend for any out of towers as the sunset view is spectacular.
Lovely Saturday lunch with my mum, sat in the bar area on couches by the windows, beautiful spot. Wines were delicious, all of the ladies we dealt with were just lovely, very knowledgeable about the menu and happy to accomodate requests. Extensive menu with lunch special, all of the food was DIVINE. Will definitely be back
The service was awesome, staff were friendly and attentive - the atmosphere was great, the decor beautiful. However the food was a little bit of a let down. Our entrees were beautiful, the fish wings and calamari was absolutely brilliant and I highly recommend trying them. Its just unfortunate that our mains didn't seem to follow suit, I had the steak and lobster, both were cooked perfectly, however seemed to be missing sides and any sort of sauce just to tie it all together. At our table we also had a chicken supreme which came out without the sauce promised on the menu (we later got it on the side) and the chicken was slightly over. Id love to come back another time to see if this was just a bad day for the kitchen, however at the prices we paid its a let down when all 5 of us at the table weren't totally satisfied with our mains.
(Their menu is also not the same as what it is on here, I believe it has changed a little.)
I'm turning into a regular at this place.
Food is excellent, tasty and well prepared. However at this price I'd be furious if it wasn't.
Cocktails are strong and flavourful.
Service is friendly and reasonably fast.
Happy hour(s) on Fridays is highly recommended, smaller menu but great value.
We tried the place on Valentines day.. the views from the restaurant is pretty spot on. We picked the seafood platter and it was pretty yummy. It had a bit of everything and sort of like a proper meal for two 😀.
Then came the main course the food was quality but we were too full. The wine jus with PRIME rib was spot on and pork was cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend the place .
Price wise its a bit on the high side .. but ambience and quality of food think we can skip that .!😅
Nice staff, good location and reasonable food.
Would I go there again?
Yes but not in a rush.
There must be better options in Rockingham.
Liked the $19 lunch menu - plenty of choice and keeps things simple. The waitstaff were very friendly and professional. The wait for food was noticeably a bit too long, but good when it arrived. W had the chicken burger and chips, I had the chicken quesadilla with chips and a side salad. Both meals were fine for the price. I would have liked if there had been a bit less chicken and some avocado in the quesadilla instead, it got a bit samey in flavour. Or maybe guacamole on the side as well as sour cream? The chips were really good! We used an Entertainment Book voucher which made the meal quite cheap. A bit strange that a manager had to authorise the discount (no complaints or difficulties, just a slight delay) but then didn't validate the voucher on the app?
Good food and reasonable prices. Staff do tend to get distracted but the view and good food made up for it.
Definitely a place to go in summer with a group of friends for lunch.
Came for a business dinner and was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. The staff are friendly and on the ball. Let's say my glass was never empty. The food is delicious and the portion sizes well balanced.
I had the baked salmon. The salmon was cooked just enough abd the risotto was creamy. I also had the brownie sundae for dessert. This was delicious but had way too much cream. I would have liked more brownie and caramel sauce and less cream and ice cream. Balance is key.
Overall a great evening out for work.
Oyster is superb. They are fresh, delicious and well presented. Fish and chips are crunchy outside and still moisture inside. Great place to recommend for the Sunday brunch. Last but not least, the view is gorgeous.
Amazing service and great food!!
The baked salmon with risotto was beautiful.
The flavours of the prime rib with mushroom sauce was to die for.
If you want to spoil your loved one, this is definitely the place to go! Its romantic, quiet, elegant and the view is to die for. The food is exordinary and service is second to none. 10/10 restaurant. A lovely experience
Thank you for a beautiful meal tonight. My husband is FUSSY and actually said the eye fillet was one of the best steaks he's ever had. And thank you for letting us use our entertainment card after we'd settled the bill (i forgot) that is a level of service we don't often see in this country.
We had a party there recently, the value was excellent. Two starters Chowder and Stuffed mushrooms both excellent. The Chowder was rich and creamy. Main course Chicken was succulent and tender. A couple of guests had to return their Ribeye for further cooking. Desert was spectacular. The service was warm but impeccable. I will return.
OMG, what a fantastic experience we had this evening for a special birthday. Couldnt fault service or quality of the food. Our waitress Sarah was delightful. Would go back again just for steak and lobster.
It was an experience to share with loved ones, which it was, mum, dad and daughter for dad's 70th.
Tonight for entree i had black muscles with white wine and dill..👍
My main was eye filet with garlic mash spud and a tasty jus..+ a pork rib eye roast spud, asparagus with a beatifull red win jus that my partner had..👌
service tonight was top notch guys awesome..
if your looking for a relaxing place to enjoy a meal L32 great vibe..👊
Food is pretty good, but for the price you would hope so! Service was not great. Staff are pleasant but make many mistakes. It wasn't a very busy night so I think they just weren't on the ball. Would be a lovely place for a romantic meal, and the view is great. Has everything you want in a high end restaurant but just didn't pull it off the night we went 😟
We LOVE Latitude 32. With not many options by way of good food down in Rockingham, this place is a hidden gem. If you just take a few fortunate steps past Sunsets on the beach, you will be there.
The daily changing tasting plate is excellent - we always start with this and a glass of their house bubbly, which is also lovely.
Our favourite dish so far is their gnocchi - even without the meat additions, this is a beautiful little comfort dish.
You obviously cant go past the views at this restaurant - as the sun is setting, they are to die for. A great place to take friends, family or tourists. What a wonderful way to show off the state we live in...
And lastly, the staff are what make us keep coming back. I don't usually find myself wanting to tip waitstaff in Perth, but there hasn't been one instance where we have left without tipping. They are such happy and considerate people. Very friendly, chatty and wanting to help. I hope the owner/s know what fantastic people they have on staff and praise them accordingly :)
Approved. A true diamond in the rough. This venue has arguably the best view within the metro area. Nice fit out with engaging local staff. A cold pint of Perroni on a balmy summer night at Latitude 32 is on this pilgrims "to do again" list.
What a fantastic meal and atmosphere. Large group of us and all our meals arrived as scheduled. Meat was a little over cooked but overall what a fantastic time.
Went on a Friday afternoon and got outside seating because the view was beautiful. All staff were bubbly and provided a very welcoming environment As soon as you step in. Our waitress was very attentive and absolutely wonderful. We started with some cheesy garlic bread and chilli mussels. Both were awesome and came out fairly quickly. We ended up asking for more bread to slop up the rest of the sauce from the chilli mussels.
I ordered the Philly and cheese steak sandwich which came with a side of chips, salad, jus for dipping as well as Garlic aioli! Costed about $20, my boyfriend and our friend both got the fish and chips which also came with some salad and tarter sauce. Fish was crispy and wasn't dry. We had no problems on our end, but I do believe the table next to us may have received some cold scallops where the waitress sincerely apologised for and did the best she could to compensate for them. Over all was a very pleasant experience and would recommend!
Went here last night. Love the pork and the duck. Really friendly people great speed and mate an effort. Sensational attempt. Needs table cloths
Four of us dined at Latitude 32 on a blustery, stormy winter's night. It
was warm and welcoming inside.
The location and view are superb. All our wait staff were friendly and
attentive.
The menu was impressive with reasonable prices and the food was served in a
timely manner.
We all enjoyed our meals and our time together, but the intrusion of
noise from distant tables took the edge off any sense of intimacy.
It wouldn't take much to elevate the place into the league of fine dining. Some
tablecloths and other touches would add some flair. Cleaning the menus before
presentation and correcting the grammar inside would remove the sorts of barbs
that hold me back from awarding five stars.
Nonetheless, I'm sure we will visit Latitude 32 again.
We had our work lunch here on Sunday (21/6/15) and was pleasantly surprised. I had the the pork belly for entree which hit the spot with the Boss Lady having the Escargot which is not something i would ever order but both loved the dish. For main i had the blue cheese striploin cooked medium rare which was cooked perfectly and really was one of the tastiest I've had. Everyone enjoyed their meal but we did notice that medium and medium rare did differ between our dishes but the flavour more than made up for it. For dessert i had the rhubarb cheesecake which i wasn't overly excited by but it was nice nonetheless and everyone else enjoyed their dessert. The wines that accompanied the meals were also well liked, all in all we had a great lunch that didn't command Perth's highest prices. Well worth a visit.
Lazy late lunch. First time at this gorgeous place on the foreshore. Sat outside, the view was incredible. Service was great, very friendly and attentive, could not complain about how we were looked after. I had the swordfish with garlic prawn add on, delicious. Really loved this dish the more I ate, the risotto was delicious and nutty and crunchy. Really good. My guy had a steak with pepper sauce. Cooked to medium rare perfection, with a yummy side veg. I loved his too. Shared a bottle of red to top if all off. Great lazy afternoon feast, will definitely be back.
Great food good service we have been for lunch and dinner in last 2 days and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Add tonight's sunset and it's been a great night
Just had dinner here with my mum for my birthday, and all I can say is this;
Perfection. Service was faultless from start to finish, waitstaff friendly, discreet, knowledgable and attentive. I've worked in the industry for many years, and can happily say this was the best dining experience I have had in recent years. Prime Rib steak was *literally* the best cut of beef I've ever eaten. Onion rings and garlic bread both fresh and tasty. Mum's barramundi was also amazing.
Cannot praise this restaurant highly enough - bravo, keep up the fantastic work and thank you for such a delicious birthday dinner.
Great atmosphere...Mediocre food. The atmosphere, decor, comfort factor, view at this restaurant is magnificent...
Food....not bad....but not delicious! I ordered an entree and a side. The wild mushrooms were great- because I love mushrooms, but there was nothing amazing with the way they were cooked or served. I believe I have a better technique at home...and I go to a restaurant to eat finer food than I can make at home myself.
Goats cheese on Crostini was another average dish. Such a simple dish- yet I can't put my finger on what wasn't right. The Goats cheese was pre-spread on 3 pieces of Crostini- and it was like it had started to set..the 'salsa' at the bottom of the dish was just a pre- prepared Bruschetta mix. It was just 'alright'.
I will go back- because I'd like to give some of the hefty mains a try- and the menu was amazing...maybe my simple choices were half the problem?
Great location, service and food. Been there 3 times now, twice for dinner and once for lunch. Most recently last night, have yet to be disappointed with anything. Great steaks and seafood perfectly cooked, awesome friendly and attentive wait staff and the most stunning location.
Excellent Service and Food. We highly recommend Latitude 32 to anyone who is looking for good service and food. I have had throat cancer and have great difficulty finding edible food at restaurants. The staff at Latitude were very helpful and could not do enough to help. They even moved away from the menu so as to make something I could eat. I can't speak highly enough about them. Congratulations on having such lovely staff and a great attitude. It's great for Rockingham to have such a fine restaurant.
Steak Feast. Went here last Thursday night (bit late with my review) we had a fabulous scotch fillet with lobster tail with great wine, service atmosphere and views to match. This will become my new regular.
Good food and view.. little disappointed with the service. My family and I came here for a dinner the weekend before last. The restaurant is set in a perfect location, in front of the foreshore so we get really nice views. Service was pleasant, orders taken and brought out efficiently.
The meals were big portions for the price we paid and very tasty
The bad part of the night was that we were told to pretty much move along through everything because the table was double booked. I have worked in fine dining so this isn’t a problem but we usually tell the customers this at the time of booking. It was our granny’s birthday and we wanted her to have dessert there.. and we had to check whether the kitchen could make it etc. made everything rushed and not so pleasant. The wait staff did sing for her and she did feel special..
Will be back but just a little disappointed.
I went into Latitude 32 today with a girlfriend. The black spiced squid with the noc cham sauce was fantastic. We had a lovely lunch.
An absolutely beautiful dining experience. Our waitress was knowledgeable and friendly. The food fresh , cooked to perfection and ample portions. This really is a stand out dining experience on par with anything you'd expect to find in a city. Beautiful atmosphere , would highly recommend
A great restaurant with some minor faults. We ordered the chefs choice tasting plate which consisted of Teriyaki chicken, salmon, prawns, scallops, wagyu beef and mushrooms. The seafood was fantastic but the rest was disappointing.
For mains we had Barramundi and the slow cooked prime rib.
Again the seafood was sensational but my partner was not impressed with the steak, a third of the steak was just fat.
Dessert was great, we had the chocolate brownie (can definitely be shared).
We will definitely go back as the atmosphere is lovely, but we will stick to just seafood next time :)
Not Bad. Service great, Sword fish and Salmon were cooked well but lacked taste/sauce and came on a bed of stogey rice,
desert was great.
Lovely relaxing lunch on the foreshore. The husband and I enjoyed a lovely relaxing weekend lunch at Latitude 32. I ordered fish and chips, the batter was crispy and golden and the portion size was perfect for me. The aoli was delicious! The husband had chilli muscles and thoroughly enjoyed the dish. The service was friendly and the drinks staff made the best lemon lime and bitters. It was a lovely treat after a busy working week. Was too full for dessert but we will be back soon.
Just been for lunch for the second time. Love this place. I had the wagu rump, my partner the prime rib sandwich and my friend the Philly cheese steak. All delicious and excellent value for money especially considering the location. Will return again and again.
Very friendly customer service, and a lovely atmosphere. I had the baked salmon - the lemon and herb taste was very strong but overall a nice meal. I would dine here again based on the service alone.
Big Fan. Love everything about it. My family and I have frequented Latitude 32 since it opened its doors. We are slowly working our way through the menu and have loved everything we have tried so far. The Chicken Quesidilla, Black Mussels, BBQ Ribs, Goats Cheese w' Walnut Crostini, Seared Scallops with Blue Cheese Dressing and the Prawn Cocktail are favourites if to just name a few.......The service is consistent, the staff are friendly, attentive and professional, and the sunset view is spectacular. Did I mention that the Martinis are YUM. What more could you want......:-)
