Review The Sporting Globe Rockingham - Rockingham

Went on Anzac day, they messed up by allowing us to book a table half an hour before they opened (11.30am table booked, but they opened at 12pm), but otherwise, the food was lovely, the service was prompt and pleasant despite the amount of people that arrived, and I was happily surprised to see that there were some games that we could play in the booths' touchscreen TV! Overall a wonderful experience, and I wouldn't mind going back at all!

Second sporting globe I have been to in WA - fantastic as usual. Best Parma I have had the loaded Mexican. Steak was excellent, B and F Parma wrap was really juicy and tasty. Champion Burger was good and tasty. Sauces were fantastic and service was attentive and timely.

The service was great. Our server Luke was great, constantly checking on us, even once it got very busy, even recommended us getting dessert. We ordered at before 6pm so food and drink came out fairly quickly. The platter and chips weren’t hot, but still warm, and the sliders were piping hot. Overall a great experience, glad we booked for earlier because it got busy once it hit 6pm

Great venue and lunch time prices and beer specials are fab! Fantastic staff and service. Burgers are always a hit especially bat $13.90! Only thing disappointing was hearing the chef scream at the young wait staff about not coming fast enough while he rings the bell furiously. All were busy serving, working hard and I felt this was not called for or appropriate.

From my initial email, to the first meeting to the actual night of my Sons 18th I could not be happier with the way the night turned out. A big Thankyou to CODY the function coordinator, the bar and service staff and security.. highly recommend

Recently held our Wedding reception party here and it was perfect. We had the best time and all the guest loved the relaxed feel. We worked closely with the events coordinator Cody and she was absolutely amazing. Her professionalism and communication was outstanding. she listened to want we wanted and delivered a gorgeous room set-up. The food was delicious, the staff were great and we could not fault anything. We would highly recommend this space for any event or celebration.

Update I recently came here again on Tuesday 2.30pm with my daughter and the service was amazing.I could sit at the dining area in a booth and was attended to by a lovely friendly waitress.I ordered a burger and my daughter a chicken wrap both came with A free coke as part of the lunch time menu.The wrap was wonderful the fries were cooked nicely but my burger patty was way over cooked and seemed very small lost even in the small burger roll.Could not taste the mince meat as it was so over cooked.The place was so clean no food or dirt on the floor.The toilet was clean too.We had pints of little bull beer that were on special fantastic tasting beer.Really nice place and fantastic value!! I came here for their steak night on Tuesdays and was very impressed with the service of the staff at the bar. They were friendly and helpful. The porterhouse steak was so delicious and perfectly cooked the way I asked medium. The chips could have been left abit longer but that's personal taste. Overall very nice experience .

Good food and good atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. But we have two complaints. 1) The 1kg meat platter was nowhere near 1kg unless you count the weight if the board it came on 2) I had a lovely chicken parmigiana with beautiful fries - and an EXTREMELY disappointing salad which consisted of about a teaspoon of grated carrot, about a dessert spoon of tiny cubes of cucumber, a sliver of onion, quite a lot of mixed lettuce leaves (I only like iceberg and there was none of that) and that's it. NO tomato.

First experience was my birthday last week where we had delivery. It was INCREDIBLE! It really made my birthday. Yesterday we went back to Chermside and dined in. Lunch time rush and we managed to easily find a table. We ordered the Meat plate with slaw, fries, Beef Ribs and Buffalo wings. We also ordered the calamari. Could not finish it even being bit eaters. The food was absolutely fantastic, atmosphere was superb, heaps of Nth American sport to keep us entertained. Bar staff were attentive and courteous. This restaurant is on a winner here. <br/><br/>I cannot wait to go back. I was in heaven here. Congrats guy's, please keep up the great work!

Went in today nobody at the desk totally ignored left went back 15 mins later still not acknowledged had to leave again if I was the owner I would be really pissed off as I would have spent about $100 at least never be back

Number of specials throughout the week. Quiz night available on Wednesday nights. Good size meals- beer prices are on the more expensive size compared to pubs in the area.

We for a Friday night dinner. Was served quickly and sat at a table. Service was quick and the waitress, check on us throughout the meal.<br/>I had the chicken parma MVP - It was good. Slightly dry in parts.  Hubby ordered the steak and he enjoyed it. <br/><br/>Would like to go back and try the sliders and see how they are!

Ive been there at least four times. Once a a bartender was so busy telling two ladies how he was so good he didn't notice me waiting to order. Another bartender came around the corner only to backup and go back so he didn't have to serve me. I had to interupt the first bartenders conversation and ask to be served only to hear him say "what did you say" .he then ushered another person to serve me and continued to chat up the ladies. <br/>I suggested you approach this place with caution. Expensive food bad staff.

I have dined at the Sporting Globe a handful of times and each time I have really enjoyed the whole experience. <br/><br/>The staff are very friendly, and quick to get you seated and looked after. The food arrived quickly, and the portion sizes were quite generous. I've had the steak on numerous occasions and that has never disappointed. <br/><br/>I will return definitely as I can say my experience at the Sporting Globe has been a good one.

I went there for lunch today with the wife and here's how it went.<br/><br/>FOOD: I had the full serve of Salt and Pepper Calamari - it was a decent serve but it reminded me of a packet / frozen type that had been deep fried. The taste was pretty good but. The wife had a cheeseburger - lucky it was on 'special' for $14.50 because it sure is a rip-off at $17. It's ALL bread.<br/><br/>SERVICE: Absolutely the worst in Rockingham. The kids serving have no idea. Wrong food, no cutlery, no serviettes, no class, no manners. CHECK YOUR BILL WHEN PAYING AS THEY CHARGED $30 FOR THINGS WE DIDN'T ORDER.<br/><br/>VALUE: Not worth it.<br/><br/>RETURN FACTOR: No

went today to sporting globe today for lunch with my son and his girl friend, the food was awesome , we all really enjoyed it and will defiantly be going back again!! our server Tom is an asset to you guys , he was so on to it made sure we had drinks and took our order in good time, he was friendly and a pleasure!! if u guys have some sort of award for best server my vote goes to him xx

Been here twice now. Rocked up both times when it wasn't too busy, was seated straight away. Took a while to get served (15 minutes) both times while the waitresses cleared tables and talked. Would have preferred just to go to a counter to place an order. Asked for a drink the waitress didn't know was on the menu so it was a hassle. As usual they had no sweet potato wedges. The drinks also took a long time to arrive the first time, with the food coming before the drinks. Second time the drinks arrived 10 minutes after ordering. Food wasn't like the customer service as the food was decent. The first time we came here was on a public holiday and we weren't informed that specials were not included on public holidays and therefore ended up paying double what we thought we were going to pay. After being here twice and have a shit experience both times with the customer service, I will not be coming again and will stay with the decent pub the pig.

The bar wasn't packed but we had to wait 15 minutes at the front counter to get our table which we had been booked in advance.  Then we waited another 10 minutes for someone to take our order. I offered to go to bar but I was told there was table service.  We then waited 30 minutes for our 3 burgers  and then another 5 for our drinks to arrive.  The burgers were tasty but they were only  just warm and the chips were cold.  The people in the booth behind left because they hadn't been served.   We won't be going back.

Went to the Sporting Globe Rockinghsm tonight at 610 pm for the first time with my lady .We stood at the wait to be seated counter for over 3 minutes with lots of staff looking especially at the bar but no responce so we walked out

For a sporting bar this is great and definitely something that Rockingham needed has a great atmosphere when we walked in it grabbed me, but look to be honest the food didn't impress me at all, we had the pulled pork loaded fries which just tasted old, and they used shoe string fries not chunky fries so the shoestring just soaked up all the juice and oil not good at all and then we had the smoky bbq wing which were okay but wouldn't rave about it. Yes waiters nice but waited a good 15-20 before our order got taken. Won't be back here in a hurry.

The sporting Globe is new one in Rockingham. It is always crowded in the evening. I came here a few times and could see all the tables were fully booked. I tried the chilli and lime chicken wings here. It was so yummy. There are a few options for chicken wing but I think the chilli and lime is the best one.

First time for food at Sporting globe firstly l would like to say the wait staff at the globe are second to none absolutely brilliant just a pity the food doesn't match the wait staffs effort I had one of the burgers just OK partner had chicken Parma looked awful tasted just as bad also cauliflower popcorn for starters very greasy,unfortunately I would say Maccas with a liquor license again Staff made the best of a Very ordinary meal

Pleasantly surprised when the Buffalo wings came out with actual Buffalo Sauce. Was a bit light on the sauce but still tasted great. Every dish on our table (wings, steak, Mac n cheese, loaded wedges, sliders) was well done. One of a few places that do American food right. Research has been done and recipes are authentic. Too many places try to gourmetise or hipstertise American food and just ruin it. These guys are the real deal!

We're more than happy to travel the distance from NOR to eat at the sporting globe. Prices, food and atmosphere are on point. Buffalo wings are also legit.

Went here for the first time last night. Great atmosphere, although ribs were a bit pricey (4 pork ribs was a half rack and that was $30). Ribs needed more bbq sauce and sides served with it were a bit lacking in portion size. Mac & cheese was good, boneless buffalo chicken bites needed more buffalo sauce. Might come back in a few months and give them another shot when all the kinks have been ironed out.

Came here on Wednesday night with a group of mates. We all had MvP Parmas (it was parma night). All the parmas were tasty, with the standard salad and chips. My first impression that parma looks tasty...and indeed it was. However i was wishing there was there was more chips. My partners chips were a little undercooked. The meal took approx 45 minutes to come out, which is quite lengthy for the meals we ordered. The overall feel to the place was that it was unorganized. The booking we made on monday was lost and there was a bit of confusion around their membership cards. The first booth we were offered didnt have a working TV...where the staff did change us to one that was turned on, only to find the touchscreen componmnent wasnt functioning. Ill be coming back here in the near future...however I'm sure that once they iron out all their processes (only a month old) I'm sure it will be a great, hassle free place to come for a meal and to watch a game.
