Review Chocolateria San Churro - Rockingham

Great location with all the other restaurants and a good spot to drop by for some dessert. The croffle was really delicious. 🥐🧇 And the chocolate is a must try. I ended up buying a bar of chocolate. The service is friendly. So easy to order at your table. Way to go.

Decided to treat myself and a friend to a hot chocolate at San Churru Rockingham before the movies yesterday (Saturday arvo). Firstly it looked very run down with tears on the booth seats and scuffs on the walls, most empty tables were not cleared but the main disappointing thing was our tepid hot chocolates which arrived over 15 minutes after ordering. They weren’t great and we had to rush to get to our movie on time.

I went to San Churro last night with my family after having dinner at Grill'd next door, around 7ish. There were maybe a few other customers and only one girl at the counter, running back and forth doing her best to deal with the onslaught of Uber and menulog orders. When ready to order I spotted the sign on the till stating that as you're understaffed, if you're ordering dine in to please use the qr code on the table. The problem with this was that my phone was flat and my mother (who was paying as a treat) doesn't like to pay over her phone for stuff like this and doesn't have it set up efficiently when this is supposed to be just a quick and nice night out. All I wanted to do was ask the staff member if there was an option to pay at the counter instead, but she was far too busy being the only one there dealing the online orders which never seemed to stop coming. I want to make it clear that this review isn't saying anything negative about her at all. I've looked online to see what job postings San churro has put out for hiring more staff and only found 1 position advertised for a Duty Manager on one website only out of the 3 I looked on. Now I don't know if they've posted on sites I'm not familiar with (which seems unlikely as I spent most of the first part of this year and many many years before scouring the internet for part time jobs), or if they're accepting resumes in store, but I didn't see any other 'were hiring'signs apart from the notice on the till. I was extremely disappointed last night as having moved out of home and working 2 jobs,I don't get to have dinner out with my family very often at all. This was meant to be a nice occasion, soured by the fact that San Churros is short staffed and seems to rely on a system which it seems more places are adopting, using qr codes. In a time where more people are looking for jobs and coupled with the fact that San Churros doesn't seem to be properly advertising the fact they are urgently hiring. Please do better :(

Really poor customer service. The girl who took the order was very rude, showing me the attitude don’t know why as the store wasn’t busy at all. She was in rush as I placed 5-6 items

I have always given deaf ears to concur with people who claimed dissatisfactions with San Churros Rockingham as such horrible place with customer service. I have horrible experience last night with a lady called Shoela/Chloe however she pronounced it. Our family made an order online to be pick up at 8:35pm. I drove to Churros at 8:27pm & presented that I am here to pick up an order by this name (withheld), the same lady went around and round searching for order receipt and negatively came back to asked me, are you sure you have ordered? I implied yes. What have you ordered? Do you have screenshots of order? Yes, shown her in my phone. I asked, why is your system not showing orders that are placed on your website online here? She went around like lost lamb but came back and asked me again. What time is your order pick up? I now became agitated because, there are elements of stupidity in her customer service. I asked her, why do you keep interrogating me while you have system/website that accepts online orders & payment? I have paid all these and you are telling me I don’t have an order. Are you serious in your work? I curiously asked in dissatisfied! She aggressively yelled that if you don’t want to tell me your pick up time then I will order you now to leave the premise. I smiled inside my masked mouth and cautioned her “are you serious with this?” I kept it low as I am very mindful and respect other customers around. I took out my phone and showed up my phone screen with screenshot of pick up time. She looked it up and came back with her little angered face, that your pick up time is 8:35pm, you came early, she rudely concluded. I was embarrassed and emotionally dragged in presence of staff and wider sitting customers by this angered shouting lady. I was completely treated like beggar. This is insane. In simplicity, poor customer service behaviours should never be tolerated anywhere. Staff explained things .they never blindly imposed their work frustration attitudes on customers. This is absurd and delusional. Never ever again shall I take my family there for retreat. Good luck with such behaviours.

HBH & friends popped into San Churro after cinema. Cafe style Chocolateria, conveniently the cafe is right next door to the ACE Cinema.. Friendly staff, Dairy Free and Gluten Free deserts available.

Cookies and cream shake is amazing but I ordered a snack pack without banana just strawberries and got just banana… not a hard request to get right…

Long wait time, lack of staff, only one girl doing any work, churros cold.

Very tasty Churros. I love the new ruby chocolate, very tasty and unique. Clean and friendly staff. Convenient location. Overall it was a lovely experience.

This place has terrible service, I didn't actually order something but my friend did and it was only two macarons. All they had to do was go to the glass and put it in a bag but she was waiting ten minutes. I asked about it because she was too shy and the lady replied quite rudely with "there is a wait on orders you know." Only straight after I asked about them did she get her food and she probably would've waited another ten minutes if I didn't. Unfortunately I don't know the name of the lady I asked because she wasn't wearing a name tag but she was extremely rude about it.

Had to wait 15mins for takeaway coffee and it wasn't that great. Really disappointed with the service especially since the place wasn't that busy.

San Churro is always amazing no matter what location you're at, but Rockingham have the friendliest staff. Always so lovely to talk to, and quick with orders. <br/><br/>Coffee, Hot Drinks and all the Churros I've ever had here are so delicious. Couldn't fault a thing. Love the Strawberry Bowl, and my daughter loves your Bubbacinno!

I guess regardless of where you are, San Churro is always one of your top destinations for hang-out / dessert after a meal! With plenty of selections and frequent new addition to the menu to keep things fresh, San Churro is ideal for everyone. On top of that, you have the ever friendly staffs and large sitting area!!<br/><br/>My favorite? It remains (till now) to be the cold hot choc! A must try to those who haven't.

I have been to San Churro many times. I always order churros for 2 that is also popular sweet here. You can choose different sauces to go with churros such as dark chocolate, caramel, white chocolate or milk chocolate.

If I need a San Churro fix, Rockingham is the go to store. The staff are always really friendly and they certainly know how to brew up a coffee.

Best coffee!. I love the coffee at this place...it is delicious!! Love the gorgeous mugs too.

Recommended. Chocolateria San Churro's Rockingham has all the great quality of San Churro's in a smaller package, that is to say that the location is within the Rockingham Shopping Centre complex near the Ace Cinemas. My favourite beverage will always be their classic hot chocolate.

Chocolate Heaven?. Is it possible to have too much chocolate? If you say no then this is the place for you. The only thing better than a hot chocolate in my opinion is coffee and hot choc in the same mug. Waist line does not permit repeat visits unfortunately...
