My husband and I used to enjoy eating sushi here often, but when we went on Saturday for lunch, we got up and left without eating. The tables and chairs were sticky, the floor was filthy, and the dishes on the train did not look fresh and were lacking in variety. Despite this, we were going to order from the menu, but the lady on the front desk didn't appear to be interested in serving customers, let alone cleaning the empty tables, and after waiting for far too long, we got up and left. It was not busy at all on the day, so we don't know why it wasn't clean or why the service was terrible. We are so disappointed and really do hope the standards improve so we can enjoy eating there again one day.

Just had dinner here for Friday night with my wife and daughter. Waitress was extremely accommodating and she was busy. Our food - beef Teriyaki and a beef Bento Box was served promptly, tasted very good and was still tasting that way after paying the bill. Would recommend and will go again.

There was no wasabi and no ginger on any of the tables or on the train itself, these are very much a requirement of a good sushi train! Most of the items on the train itself were western fusion rolls and poorly rolled so they fell apart easily. The prawns were watery and recently defrosted. The sashimi was an absolute disappointment, very chewy and poor quality. Pretty sure the tuna sashimi is from a packet and certainly not fresh. The crab balls were quite flavourless but at least they were hot. Decor was average and service was unremarkable. They do have toilets.

Terrible sashimi, just very thin slices of frozen fish and the nigiri prawn sliver off prawn nigiri , worst sushi I’ve had including egg nigiri, which shouldn’t be hard to make tasteless but it was.

The fish was slimey and smelt like chemicals and the mayonnaise looked and smelt like its been left out for days on end definitely won't be returning as I 100% guarantee I'll have food poisoning tonight.

Got katsu chicken rice bowl there wasn’t nearly enough rice and presentation wasn’t great either spring rolls were a little cold in the middle, I liked the ramune lemonade but don’t think I’ll go back.

A friendly atmosphere with helpful staff, Tokyo Bento is located next to the Sporting Glob at Rockingham city shopping center. My friend and I were served straight away and choose a meal from the menu instead of off the conveyer belt. The meal, chicken ramin and a 600ml bottle of Pepsi Max, cost $16 and was ready in 13 minutes. The meal was fantastic with plenty of chicken and tasty broth. Apologize for the photo, I had half finished the meal before I realized. Would recommend.

After a few months of strolling past Tokyo Bento I finally got a chance to check it out last night and I was glad I did. <br/><br/>I ordered off their menu, and ate of the sushi train and everything was delicious. The time from sitting down and ordering to eating was short, with meals being brought out very quick. <br/><br/>The only small negative I'd say is it feels a little small inside but in all honesty that didn't really take away from the experience. I'd definitely return again.

Friendly staff, great food and excellent value for money. The two young chefs make all their meals from scratch with their home made katsu sauce being the best I've ever had. Everything tastes authentic. My sister who has been to Japan several times said the food here is just as good. Other than the katsu, I also like their ramen. I like its little bit of a kick that warms you up. The sushi train is also very good, in particular the pork buns. If I could nitpick anything it'd be I wish there was more seaweed in the miso. Make sure to help yourself to free picked ginger and wasabi. Really great restaurant, I wish them luck.
