Review Tatas Indian Restaurant - Rooty Hill

I have ordered a delicious meal from Tatas Fiji Indian restaurant yesterday. I want to thanks you for the amazing food and restoring our memories from Fiji. I would love to see this business continue to grow and maintain the same quality and open another shop in Liverpool would nice and adding lamb to the menu.

Awesome the frozen chicken masala curry spicy was yum yum...it was soul soothing plus good quantity n just an awesome experience...trully the only fiji restaurant in sydney by far that gives the taste of the home land...just awesome

If you want authentic Fijian Indian flavour come here. They never make a bad dish always perfect quality. The flavour is unquie to Fijian Indian flavouea very different from main stream Indian food. We always make a point to order here if we're going from the city to western suburbs.

Authentic Fiji Indian food. Clean environment, friendly staff, feel of home cooked food. Highly recommended to everyone who enjoys enthic food.

I visited on 13 Feb 2021 around 7pm after reading a lot of positive reviews even though the place was 30 mins drive away. I wish the person taking my order would’ve told me that the Chili Chicken wasn’t the typical Fiji style but rather their own home recipe. If not that then at least mention it on the menu. I spent $28 only for the food to be something else. Their service was friendly and the food was made fresh. Maybe I’ll try the chopsuey or chicken curry next time to get the Fiji style taste. Until then I’d have to give only a 3/5 rating.

Best fiji indian in Sydney. Food is like they make at home in Fiji. Place was so clean and minimilistic, loved it. Everyone was so kind and considerate. Had best weekend lunch. I am Indian and I went to eat simple vegetarian food, Fiji style. Food is fantastic if you dont compare and are open to explore new flavours.

The food lacked salt whilst leaving a whole in my pocket because of its ridiculous pricing. Why bother paying roughly $30 for unseasoned curry but then paying another $5 for a bowl of rice? The plates were dirty too, and the shouting from the kitchen made the atmosphere rather bitter.

Easily one of the best Fijian/Indian restaurants I have been to in Sydney hands down, amazing food and great service with the most amazing staff! I highly recommend giving them a try, all their dishes are made to perfection and taste amazing.

Maaaan! I love this stuff tastes just like my aaji use to make; I like to get the duck goat and chicken take away serve it in a old tin plate and wash it down with red cordial like at my aajis house ��� the best brings back memories with every bite

Been meaning to try this place out and so glad we did! Fresh and beautifully flavoured food with good, friendly service. A little local hidden gem. Can't wait to go back and try some different dishes.

After a recommendation we visited Tatas and what a recommendation it was, we had the most amazing dinner and couldn’t complain about anything, the Food, the Family and the atmosphere were impeccable!

Bhindi, khattar, rice, roti, dhal was top notch food. Ice block was the hero to finish it off.

Only place in Sydney for Authentic Fiji Curry and Chinese food. Real South Indian flavors.
