We stopped in on Friday for lunch, and can't rave enough about how amazing our experience was. The food was to die for, and the kids had the best time playing and exploring. The Indian Tomato Relish was the best tasting thing I've ever had, we stocked up for ourselves and family.
Will definitely return next time we holiday down south!
Drove down from Pinjarra to visit family and Stumbled across this gorgeous place today with the kiddies,hubby and my mum.
We are all in love with this place & definitely will be back. The food was amazing and OMG the wines and ports did not disappoint. Can’t wait to come back�
Four of us visited there today for tastings and lunch....was it magnificent ???Yes!!!Was the service good??Yes absolutely!!...I had Barramundi..Cooked perfectly..presented superbly..Two friends had the steak burger with Sweet Potato chips..Steak was cooked to perfection..and presentation amazing..The other divine meal was the beef and red wine pie...the staff are so nice...love the little birds eating the jam and cream so cute!!...We left with 4 bottles of there amazing red wine as well!!and passionfruit spread,and Devine marmalade...after a tasting session..with Erica..who definitely knows her stuff!!!!Thank you for a great day!!!We will return!!!

Had my 30th birthday here on the weekend. Was great. Food was awesome, service was great. Kids got to run around the park and play, while us big kids had a drink, even got to bring the dog. Huge thanks to Sarah and all the staff, we had an awesome time. Will be back soon for lunch.
This is a fantastic place to relax and enjoy great food in a peaceful setting, the new menu is another reason to visit and Sarah and the staff are always helpful and very accommodating. It's one of my favourite places to visit
We dropped in to sample your lovely scones with jam and cream yesterday. Morning tea was lovely. Your garden setting is beautiful and we were surrounded by pretty bluebirds while we ate. We took our furbaby which was no trouble with your staff and they even had special dog biscuits for her. Such a lovely morning and highly recommended.
I love coming here! Brought my sister inlaw visiting from the U.K. for a taster and afternoon tea and didn't disappoint! The pancakes were amazing and walked away with a couple bottles of port too! Boysenberry port is to die for �

I love the Berry Farm, we go to take photos of the beautiful birds but unfortunately decided to pressure clean patio roof while we were there and were not able to stay as long as we would have liked, we planned our week off around the weather to be able to come to your beautiful place to take the photos, are you able to clean with noisy equipment before 10am we are not local but will still come back as we love you and your food, the pie was soooooo delicious, such a happy place 💕💕

Geat place for the kids, might be the healthiest kids meal i have ever seen, great food for adults too. Lots of playgrounds, cheap avocados, friendly animals and more.

I am a little biased about The Berry Farm as I'm the head chef here and have been for 8 months now... we are very proud of what we do and I'm very proud of the food coming out of our kitchen ....
Can't comment on the savoury because we only had the boysenberry pie, but that was really nice! Pastry was lovely and crumbly and the berries were nice and sweet. The waitress also offered to bring more cream if we needed. The staff could not be faulted at all; they had that wonderful country town hospitality that we love about Margaret River.

Beautiful place to have lunch with children. There is a playground near the cafe where we can eat and chilled while the kids expend their energy.

I’ve been coming here for the last 20 years and while it has changed a lot the food is still a standout. The beef pie is amazing (don’t be put off by the price, it isn’t any ordinary pie!), the steak sandwich and the varying specials are always a hit with our family. The scones & cakes are always delicious too! Great service with most of them being there for 5+ years plus and remembering us and welcoming us back like family. It’s a great place to visit for lunch and head over to the sheds for alcohol and food tastings, their Indian tomato relish is amazing.
I fell in love with The Berry Farm! We popped in for coffee and cake on Saturday morning and it was the best decision! The girls behind the counter were a delight. We had two flat whites which were on point and the orange and almond cake was the best cake I've had in a long time! We sat inside near the open fire as it was miserable outside and I didn't want to leave! We will be back!
I love this place, great cellar door with plenty of things to try and buy, amazing cafe and even a playground area for the kids. The cafe has a warm, old-world charm and offers delicious food, in particular the scones and boysenberry pie. I just wish they were gluten free option of these for hubby.
We had lunch today at The Berry Farm! The staff in the cafe were so friendly and helpful- I had a gift card which was a bit tricky but they were more than happy to help me figure out how to use it. I had the mushroom salad and my husband had the beef pie. The portions were plentiful and the food absolutely delicious! I asked for some tomato relish with my meal which was provided at no extra cost. We were (sadly) too full for dessert but all the sweets looked delicious. After lunch we popped into the cellar door and bought a few of the yummy sauces and chutneys they had on offer. Would highly recommend the berry farm! 10/10
The Berry Farm Rosa Glen just short drive from Margaret River town, is about so much more than just berries! Taste homemade jams, preserves and sauces, sparking fruit wines and liqueurs, ciders and vinegar or dine at the Cottage Cafe and enjoy morning tea, afternoon tea or some lunch while the kids play on not one but two playgrounds, including the new nature based adventure playground installed in 2016.
Such a long drive to get there!
Needed a drink and food after the journey but took ages to get it.
Very busy so finding a table was difficult.
Need the table number before ordering the food as they don't send out numbers with the order.
Food was nice enough but had to wait too long for all 4 of us to get the plate served to us so we could eat together.
Did not see a way to view the Berries which is why we went.
Ample parking.
Really nice setting in the forests is this nice little cottage berry farm. The scones are really a must have with the jam in particular is quality, possibly some of the nicest jam you'll find.
Only downside was the service was a little lacking. Not a good idea to serve tea nearly 10 minutes before bringing out the scones. Should have timed this better.

Very weird set up - you need to find a table yourself to get your number then grab yourself a menu then line up to order.
We went on a pretty cloudy day so it wasn't busy. Two ladies at the counter, barista - other taking out coffees to other customers and taking new orders at counter.I found this a big down fall!
Especially when the barista was barking orders (the way she was talking to fellow staff members was so rude) to the other lady to take coffees outside.
When you have customers standing right in front of you lining up. Service them!
I did feel the lady taking orders, did wanted too but probably would have got the attitude from the barista if she did.
Before I could get my first coffee order out - I got interrupted by the barista with the attitude!
I think I would have walked out if I didn't drive that far and really wanted a scone! 😉
When it came it was delicious 😋 scones and boysenberry pie. I liked the scones and jam more than the pie.
Then we went to cellar door, so good! Tasters we everywhere of jams/chutneys/relishes. The lady behind the counter was very nice - offered a tasting straight away. It got busy quick and a lil crowded but was worth it.
I would deffo go back but I hope they have improved in customer service/priorities or hire another person.
Yummy food, friendly staff and the bird interactions can't be beaten.

The cottage has a rustic and homely feel to it and it's very serene to be sitting out in the bush surroundings. Had the mushroom salad which was very tasty.
Hands down the best meal we have had since arriving in MR three days ago. The staff were all friendly and helpful, the food was lovely and serving size was perfect. We had lunch on Easter Sunday and, despite the cafe being full, we were attended to quickly and, there were no long wait times for food. Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and we will definitely be back!
Just simply good and does what it says on the tin. Beautiful setting and amazing service from an incredibly enthusiastic team! Chutneys made on the premises were very, very good....
Best steak sandwich around! We always come here when we go Margaret River. The shakes are nice as well, but we always get the steak sandwich because it's amazing. The Berry Farm salad dressing on the tables is also really nice. Food comes out quick, service is great, everyone's happy. Highly recommend!
We originally came here with intent of having lunch, but time sadly time got away from us and they closed their lunch menu at 3pm. So we chose from the afternoon tea menu instead. The tart was flavoursome and very filling. Beautifully made salad. The berry tart was delightful. Pastry was light and filling wasn't over sweet. The berry shake was quite sweet, but it was enjoyed. The lunch menu looked amazing, so will hopefully be returning soon when in the area again.
We drove hours and hours to this place and the food was great! I love the ploughman platter - it has a good selection. If you can get pass the annoying flies, this is a wonderful place to spend the afternoon.
Excellent food, service, atmosphere and gardens. The cottage pie was excellent and very filling. I would recommend this place if you're down in the southwest region of Western Australia.
The Berry Farm is a MUST every time I travel down to Margaret River! The store is also amazing with ample samples - and you can buy many of the chutneys and relishes that are served in the cafe. We usually order the ploughman platters, but most recently had individual orders which were divine. Love this place.
We came out here on a whim and were so glad that we did.
This place is so gorgeous, I wish I had a picture of the venue, but I don't so.. you'll have to trust me. We had a red wine and beef meat pie, it was seriously chunky, saucy and full of meat and matched up perfectly with the chutney on the side. The scones were really fresh and fluffy.
Friendly service, love the scones. I never go crazy over scones but seriously the scones was absolutely yum! They just got it out from the oven. And the view was amazing. Too bad it was raining so my kids couldn't play at the playground. We'll definitely come again when we visit Margies.
I'm a bit of a fan of the Berry Farm. It's rustic but wholesome food and the setting is nice in spring or autumn. Forget winter tho for me or a windy cold day.
Came here for a pit stop and was not disappointed. My boyfriend and I shared their famous Boysenberry pie. This was delicious! Not too sweet or tangy. This is on my must go place from now on and I will be ordering one just for myself
My favourite spot for lunch down south. Bit pricey but food sizes are amazing. Scones with jam and cream are not to be missed. The pie is also a must have. Had a slice of the raspberry, lime and toasted coconut cheesecake and it was amazing! Highly recommend!

Pretty gardens, wholesome food. Had lunch here on the weekend. The food was delicious, very wholesome & tasty. The serve was huge and very good value for money. Was able to BYO which was a an added bonus. The shop is also a must visit to pick up some of their jams & pickles, highly recommend the beetroot relish.
Love it!. Delicious meal! The chorizo plate was delicious and the beef and red wine pie was perfect - lots of good quality meat. Helpful, friendly staff and beautiful gardens. And it's dog friendly, so my pup could join us, no complaints here and would definitely recommend!
Not sure why people have been complaining about this place, the food is amazing! I had the pie, it was full of delicious braised beef. Better than anything similar I've had in perth. Both first course and desert were home-made and of exceptional quality.

Ambience and Tasting Room are pluses. Based on my experience, the food here is just OK. Not bad, but also nothing to write home about in a region like this, with gourmet chefs and restaurants practically tripping over one another. Other half had the Soup of the Day, and I had the Beef and Red Wine Pie, which was... fine. Mash was a little cool, and the chutney they paired the meal with was out-of-the-fridge cold - I imagine it's hard to keep it warm when it also has to go with cold dishes though, so that's forgivable.
All that said, the grounds are among the most beautiful that I've been to in Margaret River, and they go out of their way to attract wild birds, which is nice. The cellar door/tasting room is also great, with far, far more diversity than a typical winery. I could absolutely see people spending a decent stretch of time here, especially if you're part of a group or have kids with you - not just in the tasting room, but also just wandering the grounds and saying hello to all the animals. So overall, I liked it and I'm happy we went - just go in with your eyes open and don't expect the kind of gourmet, top notch dining experience that some of the other wineries can offer. Given its location, I recommend it as a good last-stop on your way out of the Margaret River region.

and whether it is for lunch or their great two serves of scones it is always great
and then a bottle of boysenberry port to take home makes a nice afternoon
Delightful. Well worth a visit. We didn't end up eating at the cafe although we did attend the food tasting centre & cellar door. The jams, pickles, sauces and butters were delicious as was the Dark Plum Port and liqueurs.
Nice place for lunch. This is a lovely place and lunch was really delicious and price is reasonable.
We arrived before 11am. Beautiful place to visit. Scones were best I've had. The before lunch menu looks great but only one savoury option for those who don't like sweet foods. Lunch looked good but we didn't stay for that

The loveliest setting! from the second you enter the property grounds it is just spectacular. The cafe is an absolute gem with great food and great service in a gorgeous well established garden setting! The cellar door is also quite nice, with lovely bar staff.
This is a great cafe in a lovely tiered cottage garden setting surrounded by mature trees. It is dog friendly and has a children's playground out the back. I had the Vegetable Tart with an amazing salad full of little extras like home cured olives, tomatoes, spicy eggplant and drizzles of some of their delicious condiments. The serving is ENORMOUS and if you want to try some of the their home baked cakes I'd suggest sharing the main!
SCONES!. It is out 3rd time there and we still haven't been able to get past the scones and jam. Beautiful spot for afternoon tea and the birds always enjoy the left overs.
Amazing food had the steak sandwich myself and my partner had the open chicken burger. Both enjoyed our food so much we tried the chocolate cake to finish it off which was even better. Service was amazing and the price was reasonable. Serving size was huge for the price especially in Margaret River! We will be back and I will be recommending it to all my friends and family.
Doggy friendly dining. Lovely garden setting with delicious, fresh, unpretentious food. Had the Moroccan lamb skewers and my husband a pie. Both delicious with the freshest of salads at - for Margaret River - an unbelievably reasonable price. It was a delight to be made welcome traveling with 2 large dogs. Subsequently elderly parents who live in the area are now regulars with their dog. The cider is fabulous, and we found the service warm, welcoming and efficient.

Beautiful setting, tasty fresh food, ordinary service. Be sure to book a table before you go.. We visited last Thursday and arrived around 11.30am. We were in a group of 15 and I had checked the websites of the places we were visiting to make sure they didn't require bookings as we weren't really sure how many of us would be going on the day or where we would end up stopping. After checking out the store we easily found two tables as there were not many people there and went to order lunch. As we began to order more people arrived as it was lunchtime (no surprise for a cafe I wouldn't have thought). The staff became very stressed and chatted us about not booking before we came and that there would be a 30 min wait for our second table of orders. A smile when told this wouldn't have hurt. More and more people arrived. Members of our party wandered off and toured the gardens, took photos of the wrens and enjoyed the beautiful weather. Table one received their meals 45 mins after ordering and had finished eating while the rest of us waited. In total we waited an hour and 45 mins for our meals. Delicious freshly prepared meals but the staff continued to treat us like it was our fault that we wanted to eat their food in their establishment at lunch time. I love the Berry Farm and will return but if this was to happen again then I would rethink suggesting it to others. I encourage you to book a table if you plan to stop for lunch and then maybe management can sort their staffing levels out.
Great Platter. We ordered the Ploughman's Platter and we really enjoyed it. Great range of cold meats and cheeses. We found the pricing to be decent for what we got.

A glimpse of paradise. Situated on the historic Berry Farm at Margaret River, this cafe has a head start with the surrounds. The dining area extends out to a cottage garden, nestled among giant gum trees, and inhabited by a colony of Blue Wrens as well as a variety of other birds. As a vego who often struggles to find one dish, much less a choice, on many menus, this was a pleasant surprise with plenty of vegetarian options. We started with the mushroom soup, which was delicious. For the mains, we went with the frittata and the gourmet mushroom salad - what can I say, I'm a fan of mushrooms. Again, I wasn't disappointed and delighted in the range of mushies served. The frittata was supposed to be served with a tomato relish, but the waitress brought it out with apologies when the dish was almost finished. I shrugged and thought, well I might as well have a taste now it's here, and after one spoonful I was sold, and just ate the relish on its own. (In fact I then went and bought a jar in the farm shop!). Light, tasty and fresh - the meal left me with pleasant memories of the tastes but not feeling heavy or overfull. Just wish Margaret River wasn't so far away! but definitely worth a visit.
...they were still serving freshly baked scones! As full as I am, there was room to squeeze in for this perfectly baked scones which was super fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outer layers. And oh, not to forget the taste of the Strawberry Jam from The Berry Farm and Chantilly cream – what a marriage in heaven. I also ordered a much needed dose of Flat White to keep me going for the rest of the day. Someone please tell me where to find scones as good as these in Perth CBD.
