Could not fault this place, their Portuguese tarts are the best I have ever tried. The owners are incredible & the service is like no other. I really recommend visiting! 5 stars!!!!
Absolutely loved our visit here. Amazing service & the deserts are to die for. Highly recommend!
Mandy makes the best coffee in Rose Bay! Carlos the best Portuguese Tarts ever! Service is wonderful, friendly and they have a sense of humour at all times! Make your week and pay Carlos & staff a visit!
The best Portuguese tart I’ve ever taste!
Seriously, even better than the famous one in Macau! No kidding!
Feel like something sweet and this pop up store in North Sydney just deliver the best treat for me this afternoon.
$4 each, or 6 for $20.
Not sure at the beginning so that’s why I bought 1 first to try, and I’m not regard my decision.
The staff offer me cinnamon sprinkle on top, which I try and love it!
Texture was smooth, not too eggy and caramelized sugar on top was delicious!
Come back and bought 6 pack to take home.
Pop-up stand at North Sydney. Can't walk pass a good Portuguese Tart! And it was pretty good. Crunchy pastry, a nice sweetness in the glaze, not overly burnt top. You have the option of having cinnamon sprinkle on top, I opted without. At $4 each or $20 for half dozen, it was not too expensive, quite affordable treat.
The onwers Steph and Carlos are great and their food is absolutely amazing. Love the many gluten free options they offer including sweets and savoury. Would definitely reccomend!!!
I'm always drawn to a new bakery in the hope of some amazing pastries and cakes. This location seems to have gone through a few different cafes and bakeries over recent years and hopefully these guys are here to stay. Their display of freshly baked goods looks promising and their signature item seems to be the Portuguese Tart ($4) with the option of flavoured ones with raspberry being available at the time. I'd be keen to try their Nutella one. My morning coffee and sugar hit is sorted with a strong flavoured Cappuccino ($3.50) using The Roastwell Coffee Co. The Portuguese Tart had nice flavour and pastry. Vanilla Slice ($5) texture was good and enjoyed the flavour of the custard. I found the ratio seemed to favour the pastry over the custard in my slice though. Apple Puff ($4.50) is like a danish. At the time it was a hard choice between the apple and the pear on display. A revisit is certainly on the cards — maybe for the Blackforest Cake. Staff were friendly and helpful. I found parking a bit of a challenge in the area due to being located in the middle of the main shopping area.
