Bernasconi’s is a busy coffee shop located in the Plumer Road Shopping Village. This food here is ok but didn’t blow us away. The coffee was the standout and the funky art they have on their cups is always cool to walk around with.
This is a great place for coffee! Every Sunday we come here for a morning coffee and they are consistently good. The coffers are also very competitive at $3.50 and served in this gorgeous takeaway cups. I definitely want to eat in and try some items not they're menu, they look delicious!
Charming. A charming cafe well place on Plumer Road. I've only been here for breakfast but the lovely light-filled historic atmosphere, great coffee and delicious hotcakes keep me coming back as often as I can. Highly recommended.
Consistently Good. Live nearby and have dined here regularly over the last 3 years. You simply do not get a bad meal here, whether its breakfast or lunch. The portion sizes are generous and the prices are fair. It's always busy and there's a very good reason why.....
Fantastic. My first impression was mixed. We arrived at 11.00, the place was packed, and when I asked one of the patrons if the 2 seats next to her were available, she replied so rudely that I had a bad feeling about it!
We ordered and asked some toast before our meals... but the waitress said to us we might not get them because the kitchen was busy... Not very customer friendly!
When the food arrived, it was a different story. The waitress changed her attitude, was even smilling... and the food: fantastic !
This has to be to the best breakfast I have had in a long time in Sydney. Everything was made from fresh produce and tasted great!

Great beans on toast and coffee. I like this place. Well situated on the corner of O'Sullivan and Plumer. Views to Woollahra Golf course and of the Mum's illegally double-parking their 4WDs. I almost always order the baked bans on sour dough, with spinach and poached egg. Filling and tasy. Coffee is a high point. Good baristas, friendly staff, makes for a winning formula. I am a regular and am happy to keep coming back.
This place is better than expected, the food was tasty, and good coffee, the staff were nice and friendly. There is an outdoor area if you feel like sitting outdoor. Overall, it is a nice place in that area
Bernasconi's is a nice comfy stroll from our place, and we come here quite frequently, as this is my favourite breakfast spot near home. The setting is darling, giving you a very continental feel and the food pops. My favourite is the House Breakfast with the bacon steak ... mmm, bacon steak!
The service is great, quick, attentive and always with a smile and the coffee is strong and creamy.
They also make a great Eggs Benedict and this is a great place to sit back and enjoy a leisurely weekend breakfast in a gorgeous leafy setting.
Lovely Art Deco Cafe setting overlooking Rose Bay Golf Course. Beautiful food, particularly the Beans! Great service and coffee.
Classy Cafe. Best for Brunch. Get there after 11 if you would like a choice including lunch options. The gluten free hot cakes are delicious for a breakfast treat.
I was very impressed with the quality of the coffee at this place. Nice location and decor.
