Sunday funday beautiful spot for breakfast .. a hidden gem with terrific service and lovely staff ...
Have been coming here for years and enjoying the ambience and serene location and good food.
Now brand new fabulous owners with lots of enthusiasm and flair have re decorated, added thoughtful additions to the restaurant and menu. Comfortable lounges for just having coffee and cake. A menu for the kids which includes things to keep them happy and occupied like colouring equipment and even duck and fish food for the wild life.
We are looking forward to returning and a new season menu coming soon.

My husband and I went to the Echo on the Marina for a special last day breakfast with my brother and young niece as we were leaving for the UK after a short holiday. I can't say enough how much I love the place the views are to die for,our breakfasts were gorgeous and the staff were all lovely. I even commented to my brother, who is a regular visitor there with his boat, how lovely the lady was who took our order. We are already looking forward to going there again on our next visit
We loved our breakfast at Echo On The Marina for Fathers Day. The staff were so friendly and the food was excellent. My husband said it was the best breakfast he's had for years. Stunning location! We'll be back!
Just had a lovely birthday lunch. Table was reserved where requested. Wait staff were relaxed and friendly, extremely professional and efficient. Food was beautiful and well timed for a relaxing time by the water. Thoughly recommend. Will be going back soon.
I have enjoyed this little
Spot of heaven since I was a child and my parents kept a boat here . Lovely owners and always a please t crowd and super yummy food with perfect views of nature .
We had a seafood linguine with a glass of wine at 2.30 pm for lunch ... service was great especially as the place was full .... my partner liked the desert and the coffee was v good ... great venue w a lovely outlook of the bay ... well worth going to for breakfast/brunch or lunch .... make a booking in the summer holiday season ....
It's the first time I went to this lovely Café on the water edge, I enjoyed the fresh and fine food, especially the friendly staff. I read some reviews before I went... I would say the price is very reasonable for a meal ( I had a lunch!) It's a charming place - paradise!

A beautiful water location to soak up the ambience sipping a wine and dining on a delicious meal. “Seafood by the sea” - lovely. This place has seriously lovely views. The good thing is that the food matches this!. To drink we both chose a red - and a Merlot was our “go to” on this occasion. It was so pleasant having a sip and gazing out over the water. This is a great place to let the hustle and bustle of daily life just drift away.
Echo on the Marina is a little piece of serenity in Roseville. There's no way I would of found this place without recommendation from my fellow foodies. As I descend on a series of stairs, I can see the great view. I ponder what life would be like if I had a boat or maybe I could buy a kayak. . I sip on some sparkling water while Matt sips on still. Matt doesn't like sparkling water which often results in two bottles of water on the table. I personally love the little bit of fizz and lift it brings to the mouth. I then look at the menu. The staff are busy running around and I put my hand up to signal I'm ready to order. I order a chocolate milkshake ($7) as I'm craving some creamy chocolate textures. It's served up in an old school container. It's got a nice hit of that chocolate topping taste that you might remember from your childhood.
Deep in a desolate cove of tranquility, the Echo boasts a picturesque view of the marina surrounded by the natural scene of green bushland and wildlife. The experience alone as you descend down the 100 or so metre staircase sets the tone of something quite special.
For starters we had the BRUSCHETTA which tells a bitter sweet story with the use of ricotta, avocado and tomato with a gentle weave of caramelised balsamic! The EYE FILLET in keeping with the luxurious theme plays on the old surf and turf which was cooked carefully at medium-well in a 'jus-like' diance sauce and topped with tiger prawns and accompanied with garden salad. THE SMOKED DUCK breast featured thick slices of breast. It's trimmings of beans tossed in a citrus and honey sauce and served on sweet potato mash make it a very endearing dish.
The layout is open which is perfect for large groups where you are completely enveloped by the natural scenery of parkland and water. Our service attendants were quite helpful with recommendations and the waiting times were quite swift considering it was a full house on a Sunday when we went.
Definitely a destination venue I would highly recommend!

As someone who was Sydney born and raised, I’m always surprised to discover parts of this fair city that I’m not already familiar with. Echo on the Marina is situated on a little bay sitting between two leafy green fingers of bushland that extend into the higher reaches of Middle Harbour. You approach it by taking a series of unmarked turns down suburban cul-de-sacs – thank goodness for GPS – and parking at the top of a steep series of staircases. The stairs take a zig-zag path down to the restaurant, which sits right at the water’s edge. Before you start frothing about not being able to take the pram or your Nanna, they’ve got an inclinator for the use of rich people who own luxury boats, and the restaurant’s less mobile guests. They’ve kept their menu offering as daytime only, so you can visit for breakfast or lunch. While some of their hundred-plus seating is cleverly all weather by being under a marquee, we were gifted with a table right on the edge of the deck, allowing us to...

You just cannot beat this spot on the marina to sit back and enjoy your morning coffee. It is worth the drive to discover this oasis and eat your brunch next to the boats.
The coffee will please those who like it strong and you may even be lucky enough to get some barista art in your cup. I decided to customize my own brekkie choosing eggs anyway, bread and add ons. The serving was generous and you can't go wrong when you pick all your favorites. The Waffles and Eggs Benedict also looked delicious as they were delivered to nearby tables. Even in winter this spot gets so much sunlight that you could easily sit back and watch the morning go by.
We visited for breakfast but looking at the menu would love to come back for lunch! Pick a weekend and head to Echo on the Marina - you won't be disappointed!
Came here a few weeks ago with my mum for breakfast. I had been intending to go here for awhile because I knew the view would be lovely and I was not wrong. The staff were all lovely. The meals were very large so very good value for the dollar. I had the mediterranean breakfast and mum got the omelette which were both very nice and fresh. The coffee was good too. We very much enjoyed the views and the freshness of the area and watching the ducks go by was very sweet too. I'll definitely be coming back.
It is really hard to return to a venue where you have had a poor experience. The experience leaves a foul taste in your mouth and you will always visit the second time with that first visit at the front of your mind. I am incredibly happy we did return to Echo on the Marina. Seeing vast improvements and eating a dish I would put in a Top 10 category is something that makes me very happy indeed.
Full review is now up on Spooning Australia.
*Special thanks to Alex from @i.am.strategist for the invite. Thank you also to the kind staff of Echo on the Marina @echoonthemarina for their service. . A tranquil little spot just overlooking a secluded beach is a small restaurant that is both peaceful and playful in nature. Down a windy road and a set of secluded stairs, you’d never guess that a little cafe could be found down the bottom near the wharf.
Echo On The Marina is a cafe and event space located right by the water at Roseville Bridge Marina, the venue itself is relatively secluded but those that make the short trek down the stairs to the marina are rewarded by a great little venue surrounded by bushland and flanked by water views. Mediterranean Breakfast – eggs with grilled halloumi, grilled roasted tomato, zucchini & avocado salsa and mushrooms served with your choice of toast
We had a wonderful time here. The staff were really engaging and fun. The location is gorgeous. The food is completely delicious. It's not a vast menu but we had no difficulty finding something for everyone. A hidden gem.
Summary: I liked the ambiance of the restaurant, and the food was pretty good too. The mains were definitely winners, but I’d like to see more art in the desserts to perfect the experience. I’d definitely recommend the restaurant as a good date-spot, but definitely call ahead and ask for a table with a view of the ducks!
Beautiful ambience, beautiful location, beautiful food. Definitely one of my favourite spots for a sneaky weekend brunch! I recommend getting a table by the water if you can, you'll probably need to book because it can get rather busy.
Take a journey to Echo on the marina located on the serene Roseville water front. A licenced restaurant, as the name suggests situated on the marina. This place is what we have been looking for: a great location, food and service, not too expensive or pretentious. The beautiful setting making this restaurant suitable for any occasion, be it a nice breakfast, family lunch, a catch up with friends or for an event. The restaurant is child friendly with kids menu’s and food for them to feed the resident fish and ducks. If you drive, there are two locations to park, both with a short but scenic walk involved. If you aren’t so mobile take a ride on the travelator. Take a boat if you have one or if you want to work up an apetite you can also kayak or SUP(stand up paddle) in, just take note of tidal movements.
Echo on the Marina is a restaurant situated right on the marina, a hidden gem in the serene neighbourhood of Roseville Chase. It was quite hard to get to by public transport, involving a 25 minutes hike from the nearest bus stop, but the view was so breathtaking it blew me away, rendering the hike worthwhile. Highly recommended to drive there if you have a car. The restaurant was surprisingly full on a Wednesday afternoon, with a good mix of family and friends having a casual lunch and couples on their first dates. We ordered the beef fillet with roasted baby beets as one of the mains. The beef was cooked to medium rare, while the fresh horse radish cream was an interesting element to the dish but we felt that the jus could be reduced further. The second mains was pan seared barramundi with white bean cassoulet, smoked morcilla, kale, fennel and baby carrots. The barramundi was tender with a crispy skin, complemented well by the flavoursome white bean cassoulet. We then ended off the meal with a satisfying hot chocolate souffle with ice cream and whipped cream. Thank you Echo on the Marina for the great service!
Absolutely stunning location, and great food to match. The duck was the highlight, beautiful and tender with a delicious Asian jus. Currently there it is BYO only as the restaurant awaits its liquor license. I would definitely recommend booking to try and get a table close to the water as these obviously fill up quickly
Tucked away at the Roseville marina is this lovely waterside cafe. We were able to enjoy a beautiful view along with our delicious breakfast. Service was friendly and attentive. Looking forward to going back.
What a special place. Had the most delicious lunch here last week. The food was excellent and the service fantastic. It is BYO so we took a bottle of wine and spent the afternoon lazing on the sunny deck enjoying the incredible view of the harbour. I highly recommend this restaurant and will be a return customer.
I absolutely love Echo on the Marina. The food is delicious, the location is out of this world, and the staff are all so friendly. It is a real hidden gem. The cafe is waterfront. In fact, at high tide you could literally dip your tow in the water while sipping your tea! The new chef is great. For breakfast I recommend the granola muesli with roasted peaches, while my husband's favourite is the folded omelette. Definitely recommend visiting.
Fantastic location on a sunny day. Can be a bit up and down. Have been there when food and service has been excellent and other times when it has been less than it should. Worth the experience.
We were very happy with the food. The fish was succulent, the chips were crispy but not overdone and fluffy inside, and the salad was brilliant. I’m not a salad person normally. It’s usually something that gets eaten because it’s there, but it isn’t really ever the highlight of a meal for me. This salad however was wonderful. I don’t know why exactly, because curly leaves are normally a big turn off in my book. If I make salad it’s usually with iceberg or cos lettuce and nothing fancy, but something about this hit the spot. I think there were strips of fried or roasted fennel in there, and the capsicum had been roasted beautifully. Then on top of that the dressing was tasty and sweet. If I had to pick something out of this meal to say did not sit perfectly with me it would be that the batter, while lovely on the outside, was perhaps a bit moist and floury on the inside. That’s minor of course, and is probably just my preference.
Excellent choice. Can't stop raving about this place to my friends and family. Wasn't aware it existed until I went down for a work related lunch, the crispy pork belly was absolutely delicious! Served by friendly, happy staff at a breath taking location, chuffed!!
Thought it was good enough to share my experience online, something of a rare occurrence for me
Great Eating. It is often hard to please 6 people who have vast differences in tastes. However Echo nailed it. We had a beautiful 2 course meal that everyone of us loved. The service was perfect along with the view. A little hard to find, but now that I've found it, I'll be back for sure.
Lovely tranquil location for breakfast on any sunny morning. Relaxed friendly style of service. They make a great coffee. Bring cash or AMEX card. Perfect location to take overseas visitors.
Great breakfast.. Came here on a quiet, sunny morning.. Breakfast was great, homemade sausages were tasty. Service was so kind and friendly. It was a slightly chilly morning and the owner came over and gave me a blanket! Lovely scenery too..
Great food, good location . Really good desserts Two things to watch . Byo only , and doesn't take Visa . But worth the trip . Elevator was fun too.
The view of the bay is stunning, the food is amazing. I didn’t really like the coffee that much. The Mussels were delicious. Halloumi salad was a little blend. The team in there were very friendly and helpful. Can’t wait to explore other things on the menu.
Great food and service. Everyone was really nice. The tables are well spaced. We were lucky with the weather. I've been there when it has been raining and it's not pleasant. It's a bit nicer, tidier than previous visits too so that's good. Much improved. I had the Hallumi salad and it was delicious. Highly recommend it.

Such an amazing Italian restaurant by the water. Ambience is lovely and the view is great. Food is just average. However the steaks are beautifully cooked, tender and juicy. Staffs are friendly and professional. Highly recommended.

Quaint Cafe with stylish menu items. Lovely view nestled on the waterfront.
