As a north shore local, it is always a pleasure to discover great restaurants near me and wow, just wow. I am singing from the rooftop that Mangiasti is an absolute ripper!! Dish after dish was amazing and so delicious with the most lively service that made me feel like we were old friends. Special mention to their signature dish of Linguine al Cartoccio (seafood pasta baked in a parcel) which had the most beautiful sweetness from the fresh seafood and the roasted cherry tomatoes and the Tagliatelle al Ragu which had so much depth of flavour and tenderness after 8 hours of cooking. Everything was divine divine divine! I cant wait to go back!

Mangiasti in Roseville’s chase is definitely a restaurant you have to visit, the service and food are amazing !! The Linguine Al Cartoccio served in the parcel is definitely my favourite dish here. The Twice cooked WA octopus with chickpea purée was also a standout dish 😀

I m Italian, born in the south. I used to own my own authentic Italian cafe'/restaurant and have worked with Italian top chefs and I think that Mangiasti? Is a fantastic place. Love the athmosfere, the quality and authenticity of the food, the attentive service and the staff.
I have become a regular and I can t help by spreading the word. To the two people that rated it 1 stars I have to say that they have no clue of what Italian food is and their reviews are totally unfair and arrogant.
Thank you mangiasti for making me feel like I m back home when with you guys.

Beautiful, cosy and delish restaurant. You feel like you are on holiday! Love seeing the chefs work, and the authentic pizza oven going round as the delicious fresh pizzas come out. The staff were really friendly and recommended dishes to us. The food was delicious, fresh, cheesy, colourful and super authentic Italian. Well worth a visit!

Vanessa:  “Mangiasti?” , a phrase I have heard countless times upon entering my grandparents home, meaning “ Have you eaten?” A phrase that rings so close to home for me that when I heard of a restaurant opening by this name, I knew I would be making  a bee line.  Located in Roseville, the newly opened restaurant, Mangiasti?, offers southern Italian cuisine in probably one of the most authentic dining spaces I’ve seen outside of Italy!

We dined here tonight and could not have dreamed of experiencing a meal so close to Southern Italy that it took us back to the month that we spent in Naples.  
This is Calabrian food at its best. I have never had such a meal in my whole entire life. My whole family and I are food lovers and are very well travelled across the world and here in Australia as well  and have eaten in most of the "top 200" restaurants in Sydney.  
This meal brought tears to my eyes. I kid you not. I was delighted by the restaurant and its appearance, honestly felt like I was sitting in the water’s edge in Positano or somewhere along the Almalfi Coast or the pebbled beaches of Sicily or Calabria. The price was very reasonable. These guys could easily increase the price and I would still return time and time again. The quality however was on another level. There is no restaurant in Sydney that compares.  Five dock, Haberfield , Crinitis ..blah blah blah!!! These shops and areas don't even come within a mile of what is on offer here. The service was impeccable and everyone , from the host , owner , chefs and waitresses brought it all together like a well-oiled machine. We ordered Burrata with house bread!!! Yummo -  as was the Mozzarella in Carrozza. Pasta was the Linguine Carbonara and pasta al sugo. Pizza's served were the traditional Margherita and 4 Stagioni. The 12 hour , slow cooked Pancetta was to die for as were the desserts that followed - An array of gelato's , titimisu  and semifreddo. The menu is simple , 2 pages . You have a choice from basically all 5 food groups. It’s not like your other "wanna be everything to everyone" Italian restaurants that has a 30-page menu. Here it is simple , fresh produce very well balanced. It is not overpowering yet not underwhelming, it is as if the food has arrived at the table with a smile on its face - I believe because it was made with love! To the Mangiasti team . Bloody well done! It is about time That we -here in Sydney now have quality southern Italian cuisine on offer. My only wish is that you don't change. Just keep it how it is . You nailed it. 5 weeks into it and it is no wonder that your restaurant was packed to the rafters.  With love and Mangiasti??? Yes .. now we have!!

Highly recommend this restaurant. Food is outstanding, fantastic service, great ambiance, value for money. We have been 3 times in the last 2 months. Marinara linguine is a stand out. Also has great options for kids.

Food was absolutely delicious, atmosphere was very cosy and service was excellent. The sommelier took our orders and helped us to choose a wine, he also kept our glasses topped up all night. We had a really lovely meal here and will definitely return!

Mangiasti? without doubt qualifies as an urban gem. Southern Italian cuisine cooked with panache and plated beautifully. It's versatility is its strength where you can opt for pizza or linguine cartoccio depending on your foodie mood.
