Good place to go with kids as they have kids play area. Food is good with big portions at a reasonable price. Cool ambiance. We have been there few times. Highly Recommended.
I visited this place with my family. We ordered Pizza, pesto pasta, fish n chips, grilled chicken and Chicken schnitzel
Margherita pizza: Simply amazing
Pesto Pasta: Pesto Pizza had perfect flavours and it had decent amount of cheese
Grilled chicken: It was very good
Fish n chips: regular
Chicken schnitzel: It was okay nothing great about this
Not to forget the freshly brewed beer was icing on the cake..
A must try place :)
A decent huge pub/brewery. Had a good lunch, their own pale ale was pretty good, and service during lunch was pretty good.
The only thing that stopped me from giving it the full 5-star rating was this. To get the members card, you have to do so at the desk in the pokies room. This may encourage weaker minds to want to punt and get addicted to the pokies. I consider that to be irresponsible with pokies gambling addiction being so endemic in our society today.

Loved the food here!
It missed out by point 5 because the person serving said there was no pork left when we ordered the churasco combo platter for two but when it came out, had pork on it.
The food came out pretty quick and we were lucky enough to be there when it was happy hour with $4 beers.
All of the food was delicious and also quite generous in size.
The atmosphere wasn't too bad but you won't get good lighting for photos inside!
Definitely one to visit for a filling, good feed.
Prices weren't too bad also for what you get.
Would definitely recommend it to family and friends and would go there again.
We’ve been here a couple of times. During our last visit we ordered the Southern Fried Chicken, Wagyu Burger, and the Fish and Chips. It took quite a while for the food to arrive.
We expected the southern fried chicken to be pretty generously portioned as on the menu it stated “food to share.” However, we were disappointed when it arrived as they were chicken strips, instead of the normal wings, drumstick, etc that we imagined. The portion was small and was expensive at $19 for visitors. Despite this, the chipotle aioli was great and the portion was enough for 2 people. The wagyu burger was delicious, with a nice buttery and creamy taste. The size was good. The fish and chips were also portioned adequately, and the garlic aioli was again delicious.
Coffee is decent.

Came here on a whim, saw this brewery on the drive home and decided to stop by.
This place is one up market place for pub food. It's very spacious inside with lots of seating areas.
There is no table service here. You go up to the bar and order what you want, they give you a buzzer for when the food is ready.
The food here is on the more expensive side but relative to a mid priced restuarant. In saying so, the quality of the food is better than most pub food.
Moving along, there happen to be a special on this particular day! Extreme wings! It even came with warnings that it could essentially burn your tongue off, but that got me very curious as to how spicy these chicken wings could possibly be?
OMG! I danced with the devil when I ordered their extremely spicy chicken wings! I hate to say but I was very naive! Those wings burnt not only my tongue, but I had smoke coming out of my ears! (Not literally thank goodness!) I even let my friend who is a chilli officiardo and even he couldn't handle the spice! They were something else!
Luckily I also ordered the beer sample paddle board for the Lord knows that we were going to need those babies.
Wonderful hangout spot. Awesome brew and booze.
Pizzas and chicken wings are to die for. Kids play area is quite big n good. The sports bar is quite good too. Just a tip - reserve a table beforehand. Even with over 300 people capacity, it’s very busy!
We ventured out to The Australian Hotel and Brewery for the BBQ Food fest 2017. Whilst here, we sussed out the brewery, an expansive pub, originating from 6 brothers wanting to create Australian Craft beers. They set this up in Rouse Hill and it is thriving. The brewery has indoor and outdoor sections, sports bars, dining areas and function spaces. There’s plenty of room to eat and drink. With a massive range of beers on tap and plenty brewed in house, you won’t be short of a new beer to try.
In Short: The BBQ Food Fest is a 3 day event held at The Australian Brewery at Rouse HIll, Sydney celebrating the great Australian tradition of BBQ meat and fire with Aussie craft beer, live music and kids entertainment. Its an event that is guaranteed a good time with family and friends and not to be missed. In addition, $1 from every $5 ticket cost will go to the Hills Charitable Trust.

Cozy place to meet up with family and friends. The menu has lots of variety to cater for everyone and also specials of the day. The food is a little better than average, but could be better with attention to detail on the quality of ingredients. The price is ok for what it is, but I would actually be prepared to pay more for better quality food and to lift the standard, so that I would dine there more frequently.
Relaxed atmosphere and quite a large place. The food is quite costly especially if you aren't a visitor. Being a local, we opt to come to the Brewery instead of the Fiddler and Etamogah as it has a better vibe away from people who really just want a night of excessive drinking.
I'd definitely suggest trying the drink sampler that they offer for their house brewed beers, chicken parmigiana, chicken avo salad with walnut, and the salted caramel creme brulee. Have tried a few things from the grill (including the grill plate and also other meat selections like pork belly, and the quality doesn't fit the price). If you're a member, hold out for the daily special to save yourself almost half price for your meal. Not a bad place to relax midweek and interesting place for eating challenges and Knafeh when they drop by.
I've been to the brewery for drinks and parties, but never for food. The food can be best described as 'classy' pub cuisine, and their pizzas are definitely on point 👌🏻
Last weekend, The Australian Brewery brought us an awesome compilation of the best food trucks at The Hills Food Fest. With names like Gelato Messina and Knafeh Bakery jumping on the bandwagon, this food fest was not going to be missed by me!
Great Pub and fine dining, not to mention the amazing nightlife. The venue even had its own brewery, where the best local craft beers are made in house. Activities for kids and the young ones with their own playground. The best party's, include acts from Will sparks and Tigerlily.
Try the beers! The Pale Ale has won some awards at the national beer awards. Great value food also and large portions. Perfect for the family as the kids can play in the kids play land while you relax and enjoy a meal! Highly recommended
Good old fashioned pub feed. Always get one of the schnitzel dishes here (original or Parma). Food is well priced and the local beers are always good to have a go at. Nothing to complain about here - B
All of the food comes on trendy wooden chopping boards so make sure you take someone up to help you carry the food back to the table, as those boards are darn heavy (who invented that trend anyway?).
Located at RouseHill, about a 40 minute drive from Sydney is the Australian Hotel and Brewery – home to Australian Brewery brews and cider. We check in to scout out their new craft beer bar and discover, that despite the name – it really is a small to mid scale brewery (Young Henry’s will be a lot bigger than AB once their new brewery operations take off). We also didn’t expect to find a large dining hall that’s very family friendly. One for your sydney weekender, this is the first venue we went to that smelt completely hoppy and delicious. Bring your sober companion/driver and lets dig in. We park out the back and enter here. There’s an enclosed beer backyard where you can bask in the sunshine while you enjoy the brews. This was a surprise. A largish dining hall and kids. Its a bit RSLish but the scale of the venue is quite impressive. Beer bottle lamp was kinda vegasy, kind of indie art cool. Look up. Adjoining the main hall is the newly built craft beer bar. Its just in the distance

Despite its busy Annangrove Rd address the Australian Brewery is a bit tucked away down a long driveway but this hasn't stopped huge numbers of people finding it! It's a big place that provides a wide range of drinks including the tasty brews made there. However most people seem to go there for a meal as well. We were invited there to have a guided tour of the brewery facilities, sample a few of there ales and grab a bite to eat. There are so many different areas there. A large front area, a more intimate lounge bar area with live music and pizza, an inviting outside area with a pit fire to sit around and various other spaces. It's clearly very popular for groups but also great for families. They even had an 18 area. The brewery part of the premises is understandably off limits to the public, but the folks here have cleverly put a glass wall in so you can see through at all the shiny vats fermenting the different pilseners, ales a
Simple but well executed. I've been here a few times & would recommend it over a few other places close by. I've not had great experiences nearby at the Ettamogah, but The Brewery is a good place for a simple, but good meal. I've had the Wagyu Beef Burger, the Crispy Pork & Prawns, the 300g Scotch Fillet steak, the Fish & Chips & a pasta there, as well as 3 of their desserts. All were good, decent pub food meals. The steak was especially good & cooked perfectly. Some might say it's a bit on the pricey side for what is essentially bistro food & perhaps it is, but the alternatives in the area are the same price, if not more expensive, so this is still a good option. I would recommend the brewery for a family bistro meal & I've seen a number of people enjoying the $5 pizza promotions they do.
Beer had improved a lot !!!
Family owned local business... Yummy yummy food and very kid friendly. Great easy relaxed atmosphere. Recommended, however note we are usually out of there by 8pm ;) young kids and all...
