Last night I went to The Bavarian German Restaurant at Rouse Hill. I was extremely impressed by the friendly and helpful staff, especially a guy named Irish. He had such a genuine and infectious smile that made it obvious he was happy to be working there. He regularly checked to see how things were going and provided valuable information to help us make a great choice with our meal selection. The food was delicious. We felt it offered a great atmosphere, excellent food and drink options, all at a very reasonable and affordable price. We will definitely return, as we felt very welcomed by all the staff and enjoyed the atmosphere very much indeed.
What a great place to have in Rouse Hill. The only real issue is it is so popular, you need to book to get a table (forget walk ups). We have been the past couple of Sunday afternoons and enjoyed a range of different meals. Kids eat free and can choose a basic menu. As for the main meals, make sure you’re hungry as the servings are generally huge!! The platter for 2 would feed 2 very big eaters or 3 to 4 small eaters.
It’s not what you’d call cheap eats though, the drinks do add up if you’re in for a decent session. If you plan your meal for later in the day, they have happy hour with selected beer, wine and cocktails for $5 each.
Well worth a visit.
Our first time there and won’t be our last. Service was great. Food was promptly delivered - big portions and very tasty. Plenty of atmosphere (noisy but good noisy as everyone was having a great time). Definitely recommend this place and will be back there again.
Great venue,fantastic service and amazing food.Even my hulking 16 yr old son struggled with the portion sizes.Happy hour every day till 7pm.This will become a regular for us �

My family decided to try this place out for an early Fathers Day celebration as my Dad wanted to have steak 🥩 and beer 🍺.
Pretty easy to book a table online for a party of 7 people. The website itself was easy to navigate and get information from. We were told that it’ll be booked for 2 hours and if we’re running late, they’ll hold our booking for 15 minutes before giving it away.
We ordered the following from the bar:
Mango weissbier
Lychee ladies Bier
Monteith crushes apple cider
Mojo moscato
2 lemon lime bitters
Sausage platter for two,
Munich brewers platter for two,
Spice rubbed wagging tri-tip steak
I liked how you get the option of choosing the size of your drink. Not a lot of places do that so I was easily impressed.
The food was delicious, fresh and it came in a timely manner. The only hiccup we had was with the steak, as it was very much too rare in the middle. We understood that this could happen because of the thickness of the steak. We asked the wait staff if we could get it on the grill for a few more minutes. The host ended up coming to our table to apologise and asked us if we wanted a new steak as a replacement. We said no as we didn’t want too much trouble for them. In the end, they gave us a freshly cooked steak & chips dish for my Dad to enjoy. The wait staff also apologised when she didn’t need to. I recommend this place mainly on their customer service.
I could not fault them on their food and beverages and we’d definitely come back again.

Great to see The Bavarian start to branch out into the suburbs! Great food and prices are reasonable for the area compared the the local bistros. This place gets super busy and the atmosphere is very loud and lively! Not the place for a quiet romantic meal. It is more bistro concept where you order and pay at the bar compared to their full scale restaurants... Food comes out really fast yet the standard is still great and yes very crispy skin! Good for groups and families!
