Super friendly staff and great food.

This restaurant was a favourite of mine. Went for bunch a week ago. The breakfast menu wasn’t great. I believe the sour dough bread was stale I couldn’t cut through it without shaking the whole table. 3 coffees all tasted burnt and the hot chocolate was a disaster. The service wasn’t what I would describe as good. I left very disappointed with my experience and will not be rushing back.

Very relaxed gathering of friends held at Tosaria on a cold Sunday. Staff couldnt have been more helpful or accomodating. Something for all tastes on the menu - good size portions, fresh and delicious. Plenty of drink options too. Unassuming but fantastic, comfortable and quiet spot for getting together and chatting away the afternoon.

We booked a table for Valentine's Day & I was pleasantly surprised at how incredibly delicious it was. Every single thing my family & I ate was an EXPLOSION of flavor in our mouths... right down to the selections on the kids menu & desserts. This is definitely a secret hidden treasure. I'm sooooo glad we found this place! Not only that but the service alone, was exquisite. The people there were extremely-friendly with beautiful magnificent smiles to welcome you in. And the prices were very affordable. "Tosaria" is literally THE BEST restaurant I've eaten at in all of Australia. It is so rare to find great quality food with excellent service & an elegant ambiance to boot. You won't be disappointed. I recommend to everyone. We will DEFINITELY be coming back! Wow! Thank you "Tosaria" for making our Valentine's Day memorable!

Great food but service was left to be desired. Why do wait staff insist on not writing things down - lunch and drinks for 3 people and as expected with having to remember 7 items something got left off the order.

Enjoyed a lovely birthday lunch in a spacious private room. Banquet food was delicious and plentiful. Staff were friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Staff were very friendly. Cuisine is not Itakian as I believed but distinctly Asian and very tasty. Good sized servings and very reasonably priced.

We had dinner at Tosaria on Tuesday night which is steak night. My husband, son and I all had the scotch fillet steak which was really tender and cooked medium as ordered. For $21.90 per person it was amazing value for money as the steak came with salad and a generous serving of chips and also included a glass of wine or soft drink, or a pot of beer. Our waiter was a delight. He was extremely friendly and provided great service. My husband and I have decided we will be making Steak night a regular date night.

We first tried Tosaria's restaurant a few years ago from our son who stumbled across it as it is in an industrial estate, not a place you would expect to find a restaurant. We have been back so many times for dinner, the food is delicious , serving sizes perfect, price is vary comparable if not better than other restaurants in the area. Staff are always cheerful and eager to help serve you. I watched last night as they had nearly a full house and a private function on. No one was left waiting and the kitchen staff were buzzing around like bees to a honey pot. I rate it 5 star, the menu is amazing with plenty of variety, with entrees, main and deserts. Look for to the next time we go. You will not be disappointed .

My workplace is in Rowville and we've dined as a group at all the other restaurants in Rowville many times over the years but have only just discovered Tosaria. We've been there twice now since December and I'm pretty sure this is the place we'll be having all our work dos from now on. Best calamari I've ever had, and the weeknight deals are great value. Huge burger, yummiest chips ever and a glass of wine for $17.95 on a Wednesday night. You can't beat that! 😊

Went there last night for my birthday dinner food and service was amazing. Shout out to Allie our waitress she was lovely, had a great personality and joked around with our table which we normally never get from anywhere. Would highly recommend trying this place we will be back �

Amazing! Had my wedding reception here, the staff are wonderful, the food in incredible and the venue is beautiful! We have a lot of people with different dietary requirements that we needed specific catering for and the team were wonderful to work with and made sure that everyone was well fed and happy. It was a beautiful evening! We have returned many times for lunch and dinner and it’s always such a pleasant experience, definitely recommend!

Went for dinner tonight and we got average service and worse food! Paid $30 for a steak that had more fat on it that one from Safeway.. The salad was old and you couldn't eat it, the ribs for entree were dry and not nice either, we weren't asked how our meals were once and didn't even eat the mains and got up straight away to pay, once at the counter the waitress just told us the price without asking how everything was... Then when I told her about the steak and salad she said "yeah" that was it. No offer to refund or take something off the bill $83 spent on some horrible food!!!

A really pleasant surprise hidden in the burbs. I have been here several times and it is consistently nice every time!!! I have no probs recommending this place!!!

I love it! Very good food and service. We had the beef rendang, turmeric rice, grilled chicken and some vegetable curry. Everything was perfect to our liking. Will definitely come back if I was around the area. The boss and staff were super friendly as well!

I decided to give Tosaria a try given the glowing reviews on Google and higher than average rating on Zomato. The location sure is interesting. As I drove past the huge factories and transport depots I was wondering if I had turned down the wrong road. But no. Sure enough it is a restaurant situated in the middle of what looks like an industrial park. The restaurant is spacious and the staff were efficient in getting us seated and taking our orders. Unfortunately the food was a bit of a let down for the price we paid. The kids had the chicken bento and some of the teriyaki chicken pieces we inedible. They were black and dried out like pieces of bark. My seafood stew was ok, but nothing special. My wife's hokkien noodles looked average too.  Maybe the area lacks competition, but unfortunately I don't think the food/value proposition is going to bring us back again. For Asian cuisine I would go to an Asian restaurant for more authentic food at a lower price.

We're long time customers of the restaurant and in March 2019 my fiancé and I had our engagement party at Tosaria. It was absolutely perfect. The price for the package was very reasonable and could be spent in pretty much the combination you liked (ie between food and drinks). The bar staff were lovely and the service was perfect. Gary and staff helped us set up and the staff were even happy to let the party kick on a little outside after the restaurant had closed. The function room is already so sweet with the fairy lights strung up on the roof. We had so many compliments on decor and we really hadn't added that much to the room. We can't thank you enough, our night was amazing and our guests complimented us on the service and food. The surrounds of the venue were even perfect for some photographs beforehand. Couldn't speak anymore highly of the venue and the staff, thank you so much for making our night one to remember.

I have eaten here a few times and it has always been nice and good value. I went there recently and they served up a steak that was tough and grey. Not up to there usual standard. To their credit they fixed it and cooked us new steaks that were delicious. I really respect the fact that they listened to us and fixed the problem. For this reason I wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

Well what a pleasant surprise in an industrial estate!! We were greeted by a lovely young lady who showed us to our table. Comfy cushions on the chairs. We went there on a deal and could chose anything from the salads onwards and a dessert plus a beer, wine soft drink etc. Plenty to chose from including some great vegetarian dishes.<br/><br/>Normally with deals you are limited but not at this place. I had the linguine marinara which was great, not over cooked and no heavy sauce. The guys both had steak and said the pepper sauce and mushroom sauce was excellent while the steak was cooked as requested and no grisly bits- just perfect. My girlfriend had the flathead tails (4) and she said they were great.<br/><br/>Desserts - FANTASTIC to say the least. Creme brûlée, individual lemon meringue with pistachio dust and strawberries.<br/><br/>Think they were a bit understaffed as we didn’t get to order another drink with our meal but that didn’t really matter. I could have called them over. <br/><br/>Location different but food fantastic - worth a go!

Headed out for a causal dinner and came across this place. Great atmosphere and homely feel, however the food was a little bit of a let down. Portion sizes of the meals were generous but flavour wasn’t quite there. Will be back to give this place another chance since staff and management were pretty accommodating.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. Beautifully presented food and drinks . Made little touches such as strawberries resembling a rose. This one is certainly a hidden gem :)

We enjoyed a couple of nice dishes from this restaurant over the weekend. Tosaria is located within the business park so can be a little tricky to locate. Staff were well trained and friendly to all of our guests. Food was consistent, however nothing amazing. If you live locally, this place is worth checking out for a bite to eat.

Some of the reviews on Zomato made me think this place is a place worth trying. It wasn't quite what I expected from this. I had a clue based on the location being somewhere in the middle of factories that it might be a industry lunch place transformed. It wasn't transformed, just food was nicely plated. But not great quality and it was priced as if it was. Nice if you work there as a lunch place though, and friendly staff

Tosaria cafe. Nice place to have the lunch in the industry zone. I like the lunch special and beef randeng. Also the coffee is tasty. Highly recommended

Food tasted great but very slow service lets this place down. More staff are definitely needed as there were only three, and they were run off their feet as well as fielding complaints from diners. We seated ourselves, got our own menus & had to flag someone to take our order. Half an hour wait to get our drinks (soft drinks & coffee) & 50 mins to receive our food (lunch specials).

We had breakfast here this morning and you get good value for money that's for sure. Quite a big place in the middle of an industrial area, but the place was quite busy on a Sunday.

Was invited here for dinner on a Saturday night. Was a bit perplexed as to why there was a restaurant/cafe in the middle of an industrial estate but glad that it wasn't in a high traffic area like the Glen Waverley Kingsway strip. Restaurant was pleasant and spacious. <br/>We started with arancini balls and bruschetta which were nice. For mains, we had the steak, eggplant parma and chicken with peanut sauce. The parma as a vegetarian options was quite nice. Both steaks were to be medium rare. Unfortunately, it arrived well cooked and tasted broiled. It was as if the pan wasn't hot enough when cooking the steak and it's juices stewed it. Wasn't very pleasant. Chicken looked ok. Think the restaurant suffers from an identity crisis with a very mixed menu with an Italian name.

Value for money oriented style of place, plenty of space, but old, tough Beef Rendang resulting in mild food poisoning the next day.  Luck of the draw perhaps (in a party of 12), but unsatisfactory nevertheless.

Have been coming to this restaurant for the last three years, we even had our wedding reception here! Great food, lovely staffs, very cosy and relaxing atmosphere ---- One of my favourites in the southeastern suburbs!

Went today in lunch time , realize it's in the business park so took us a while to find the place . We had tea , strong latte, a French toast , and a big breakfast. Staffs are really really friendly, and I adore their decor and the garden like atmosphere. It's quite soothing to sit in anywhere in this cafe , and you can enjoy your meal with beautiful view quietly. <br/>The great thing I love about my meal is the coconut ice cream on top of the French toast , the rice crisps and the matcha powder dusting on it , all came in a requisite flavor, healthy and yum . However the bread is somehow a little bit dry , and if they used fresh blueberries instead of the frozen one I would probably give a full mark . <br/>My husband says his strong latte wasn't strong enough, and he had the big breakfast, the scramble egg, spinach are awesome, hush brown are great ,just the chorizo doesn't tasted very fresh . All in all, we still enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere a lot , and understand probably its quiet season/ time as its in the business park, so I shouldn't be to picky about the ingredients. <br/>Food and the combination are really good , just the ingredients has a little bit room to improve I guess . <br/>But! We will still come back again cause it's quite cozy & good restaurants. <br/>hope I am not too picky about the details but we like this place very much , and the toilet is clean ,so does the floor and the whole restaurants. They do a lot of catering and I imagine it would be quite lovely to have a wedding here .lol

Located on the edge of a business park and luscious park lands, Tosaria has many personas. With its all day breakfast menu, it is set to become a Melbourne brunch favorite. The extensive lunch and dinner menus appeal to nearby workers during the week, and can draw in locals on the weekend.

Came for brunch at 10:40. The place was empty but the staff were still very attentive. Nice decorations and atmosphere. Friend had the zucchini fritters which she thought was okay and I had the tosaria big benedict. The eggs were a little raw and the bread was very hard but the bacon was absolutely delicious. <br/>Will definitely come back again.

The new brunch menu is pretty good to be honest! Me and my friend tried the brioche french toast and tosaria's big breakfast. Both dishes are satisfying and well portioned. Definitely worth trying. 🖒🖒

Love the food here, especially the Baked Beans and Brioche French Toast for breakfast. The Chili Garlic Prawn is also really good for lunch or dinner. A must try for anyone in the area

Small serving (I ordered the beef rendang. It tasted alright though). Very expensive for what it is. Would not return. The restaurant is remote and is absolutely out of nowhere.

We had our daughters 21st birthday party at Tosaria Restaurant on the Saturday 30 Jan. We had around 80 guest. The Service was great. Management and staff were very accommodating to all our request. Very pleasant staff, great atmosphere. Kid friendly. I have visited Tosaria a few times for dinner. The food was great. <br/>Thanks to Gary (Manager) and the team.

Have been a couple of times in the last 2 months and have enjoyed both a medium rare steak on their steak nights and their chicken parmigiana.<br/>Food is delicious, service can be a little bit slow at times.

This year our club Christmas lunch was held at Tosaria Restaurant. About 42 people from our club in total attended. Everyone's food came out at the same time, the waiters were attentive and the setting was relaxed. They served Fish and Chips or Parmigiana for mains and either Creme Brûlée or Apple Tart for dessert. I had the Fish and Chips and the Apple Tart. Both were lovely, cooked well and tasty. I look forward to next years Christmas lunch and hope the committee choose to go back to this venue.

Not Happy. The service was poor, I ordered the Chilli Prawns and got Garlic Prawns. It was clear they had forgotten my order as everyone else on the table received their steaks and I was left waiting for another 5 minutes. There was no follow up on drinks, we were asked if we wanted desserts but not offered any coffee. The music was overly loud and was very hard to hear conversations with people at out table.

Great food and service!. Tonight was our third visit and again both the food and the service were great.<br/>Keep up the great work.

I don't know why it gets such good reviews, maybe breakfast is good, but I unfortunately had dinner there, and the food were not great. Pork ribs were marinated in Chinese style soy sauce disguised into an Italian dish. Steak is cooked nicely, but ruined by the dark soy sauce with bland & boring side boiled vegetables.<br/><br/>The atmosphere, however, is good if you want a quiet place to dine. Seating a are comfortable and the decorating lights are a plus.

Tosaria Restaurant. This is the best kept secret in Rowville, hiddenat the end of Laser Drive. Really lovely restaurant, great variety of food and atmosphere welcoming. Friday night they have live performers, functions there also. The owners are full of vision, dedication and treat guests like family. Love the food, love Toraria's - try it, you will not be disappointed

Satays-fied. :). My fiancé and I celebrated our 3rd year anniversary at Tosaria. Live music, spacious and charismatic décor. We began with the Gyoza in sesame soy sauce. Subtle and appe-teasing haha. Thrilled with our satay experiences as well! I chose the chicken satay- the tenderloin skewers; juicy and tender. The fiancé selected the Tosaria chicken which was finished well with the peanut sauce however suggested that the fillet alone was lacking some tang but loved the accompanied coconut rice. Beer battered chips were crispy and perfectly seasoned. Even the pita bread was a lot better than my anticipations. The quality of food and service plus the Asian fused Italian style menu has heightened our curiosity to try more. :)

Delish. A group of us went for breakfast which was beautiful. One of us had scrambled eggs and the rest of us had the very good value "small Breakfast". I would certainly recommend this restaurant which also has an extensive lunch and dinner menu.

Very nice. Went here for Dinner last week. Have never been & thought the location was interesting. The service was nice & the food was really good & well priced. Good to know there is somewhere else in Rowville to go for dinner!

Valentine's Dinner. Special set menu with multiple choice mains. Had the Eye Fillet steak. didn't ask how I wanted it cooked. didn't give me a steak knife. It was cooked to perfection. Knife sliced through the steak like a hot knife through butter and tasted superb. Same with the others who had the steak. No hesitation in recommending the place.

Excellent. The staff were so friendly and professional, the food was divine! I recommend ordering the Lamb Salad it was amazing!<br/>I would also recommend the sticky date pudding for dessert.<br/><br/>The restaurant was so clean and neat, and the meals are so reasonable priced!<br/><br/>I will definitely go back again!

Wonderful. Found Tosaria late in 2012. What a find! Easily the best value restaurant in Rowville. Had our engagement party here and everything was perfect! Have been going back ever since as a regular and recommend this restaurant to all family and friends. I was interested to see a couple of negative reviews on here - I understand everyone has there own opinion and may have had a bad experience, however I have visited the restaurant 15-20 times and have been happy every time. Perfect for a coffee or a full meal. Keep up the great work guys!

The food was a very poor standard as we went there for breakfast today. When the meal arrived at the table it was cold and couldn't accommodate for my partners requirements as she is a vegetarian and then charged us $4.90 for one slice of white bread. Don't consider.

Poor quality breakfast for Father's Day. Charged $4.90 for a piece of cold toast. I cant eat eggs and asked the waitress for some toast- she wasn't even sure i could order toast?! the bread was average. I had to ask for butter. My partner's big breakfast was also cold on arrival. It was a Shame for a special breakfast with family. Service was ok. Won't be back.

Event Cafe. I had a wonderful time at Tosaria's in preparing and enjoying my recent birthday party! Food was fantastic, prompt and efficient. Many great comments from all my guests. I highly recommend this place for functions!

Cant Believe!!. My friends and I have been to Tosaria a couple times for dinner. We enjoyed so much. I was amazed at the decor and setting of the restaurant. It has a niece feel and ambience. The food was great, service excellent and top it up with fantastic music. We danced the night away like we always do. We love a good time now and then. My parents had visitors from England so I decided to take them for lunch last Friday at Tosaria. There was a few of us. Everyone was so excited because i was raving about how good it was. We sat down for at least 20 minutes before anyone came to get our drinks. There was no one in sight. And it took another 15 minutes for the drinks to come. When we finally ordered the meal took forever to come! I didnt see any waiting staff smiling and no one apologise for the delay nor say enjoy your meal. It was quite busy but not an excuse for not to smile. Our food was average. I usually get the garlic prawns which I adore but this time it was so dry. And the beef salad my mum got was drowned in dressing and it was way too spicy. The bread was dry and just not nice. And my favorite sticky date was so dry and not enough ice cream to go with it. The parma was lovely. Some meals were ok. Overall it was an average experience and I was embarrased to say the least. We came all the way from Bulleen and to get this is sad. Im sure you can do better that this Tosaria. We love the restaurant and want to come back. Take this as a positive remark. Its all yours now.

I thought the food was average and the service was poor.

I was really excited to try this place because of all the positive reviews, but I must say I left disappointed. The food was ok, the garlic prawns were quite nice but the porterhouse was pretty dry and the mushroom sauce tasted like gravox... We had to wait for over an hour for our food to arrive which is just a tad too long for myself. The waiters were very friendly so no complaints about the service.<br/>18/06/2015 - Don't know what possessed me to try this place again. Had the Satay chicken skewers and chicken avocado risotto today. The Satay sauce was average, not good but acceptable if I'm not being picky. The risotto was absolutely disgusting. It was literally a garlic congee. The consistency was that of a gluggy thick soup. They obviously used medium grain rice instead of arborio rice because it was mushy and broken up (hence a congee). There was about 4-5 pieces of diced chicken buried under the soupy mixture and I couldn’t see any avocado, but lots of spring onion and could only taste garlic. I sent the food back for the very first time of my life, I felt rude and embarrassed but it was just that bad.

Went to tosaria with some friends last Friday for dinner. wow! Its the nicest place i have ever been in rowville. We were warmly greeted as soon as we walked in the door. i couldnt believe the amazing decor surrounded by huge glass windows where we sat in the terrace. it is so refreshing and clean! above all the meals were sooooo good! had the fillet mignon and it was cooked to perfection! the music was awesome! The best part of the night was the hostess Pixie. she made the night to remember! she was funny and just right down gorgeous! She and all the staff looked after us so well and made our night. never met anyone who is so attentive and fun. we finished it with a bang! Pixie you rock! definitely will be back.

Excellence in Rowville. Absolutely brilliant in every aspect. Calm/relaxing surrounds, lots of natural light, warm ambience and I haven't even mentioned the food yet. <br/>The food was stunning. Awesome food, great staff. Been to tosaria several times with the family. Food are always awesome. Though when if the cafe gets busy, foods tend to arrive slower, but it is definitely worth the wait. Great ambience and exceptional service. Haven't seen one of the staffs with the blonde fringe for a while. Always a pleasant smile on his face with great service. Hope you're coming back mate!

Very pleasant, exceptional staff. While the restaurant’s locality is in an industrial estate the atmosphere and charm of the establishment was apparent as soon as we walked in. The menu has the usual selection but it also has sufficient diversity that gives you the opportunity to try something new. The Surf & Turf comprised of a very tender steak, layered over some lightly baked potatoes and garnished with what was obviously some lovely fresh prawns. For dessert I elected to try the Crème Brulee and I am very happy to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it. The staff were very attentive without being annoying and genuinely friendly which added to the whole experience. The prices for the meals were appropriate for the quality of the food and I look forward to going back on a on a number of occasions to try their various wares.

Great atmosphere and food!. Great atmosphere in this place, and very friendly staff. Glass windows and decorative pot plants add to its charm. Started with a Cappucino which was perfect and properly made. Then ordered a Chicken Parma which took about 10 minutes to arrive, and was huge!! So impressed with the portion sizes of main dishes, and it was a really good feed. Cheese was melted well and chicken cooked perfectly. Salad on the side had a nice dressing, and chips were as good as you'd expect them to be. But yeah, really great atmosphere and friendly staff, highly recommended!

I have only one word to describe this little café: AWESOME.<br/><br/>Everything was perfect: from the beautiful design of the café, the cozy vibe and ambience, the amazing food, to the warm and attentive staff.<br/><br/>Tosaria had so many choices of food, and if only I had the space in my belly, I swear I would try them all. In the end, I settled for Aquatic Benedict -because I love salmon and poached egg-, and my husband took the big breakfast -which was super duper big, no kidding! We were tremendously happy and satisfied with our choices of food, and I stole A LOT of his mushroom and baked beans, because they were just soooo good. My husband was actually rather puzzled how I could eat that much when I couldn't even finish 2 pieces of KFC alone. And the hash brown! It was THE BEST hash brown I had ever eaten. This, coming from someone who hates hash brown, should really mean something. <br/><br/>As for the drinks, I ordered long black coffee, and I have to tell you, it was the best coffee I have ever drunk. It was even better than Starbucks, hands down! If only they sold the raw coffee, I would probably have bought it.<br/><br/>Anyway, Tosaria had this little corner which was just covered by windows, overlooking to the garden, and it was so gorgeous! If only I could organize my wedding again, that would be the spot. It looked as if we were outside, while at the same time we would be covered from any possible hostile weather outside.<br/><br/>I will definitely come back here again, when I visit Melbourne next time.

What a surprise. We went to Tosaria Cafe for lunch yesterday for my mum's birthday, and we were all impressed with the food. Who would have thought a cafe at the back of an industrial estate would be doing food like this?! We sat in the "dining" section of the cafe, overlooking the creek/trees at the back of the cafe. <br/><br/>We had the lemon pepper calamari and scallops & chorizo for entree and my brother ordered another serve of each they were so tasty. They were also beautifully presented (wish I had taken a picture). I had the confit dug leg with witlof and pear for main, and it was delicious. Again, who would have though I could ordered a meal like that in a cafe in Rowville??<br/><br/>The service was very friendly and attentive and, as my mother lives nearby, I can see Tosaria Cafe becoming a regular lunchtime destination.

What a great night out sat 28, took my friends to tosaria cafe they were so impressed with the decor and atmosphere,the food was absolutely fantastic the service was excellent the band that was playing were so enjoyable people got up and danced the night away.will be back 100%<br/>Tell everyone tosaria cafe.
