My mum and I was really craving Peking duck and our usual places were booked out until we stumbled onto this place. Weโre so glad that we did a bit of research because the Peking duck here was delicious and also their other dishes. The scallops were fresh, perfect spiciness and the fried rice wasnโt overly salty and oily. The service was incredibly efficient and friendly.
Will definitely be back.
This establishment is big, perfect for medium size functions. The spring rolls were mediocre. The kung po sauce is on the sweeter side but the beef is tender and juicy. The Singapore sauce is not spicy enough but still tasty. The service is attentive, helpful and top notch.
peking duck is definitely a star there, other dishes are also nice. price is affordable and friendly staff. we love it so much that we had been there few times. they also have spacious parking.
Decided to go local and wow from the moment we walked in the service was terrific. The place was clean and cool and the waiter explained the specials - one of which we tried (Murray Cod) and it was very, very good. I said to my wife the place suggested to me that the staff were happy to be working there as they all asked after and checked on us with a smile. Missing is some more expensive restaurants. Also had a nice selection of wines by the glass. Will definitely go back there

Itโs quite strange that very few people write about food/restaurants in the suburbs. Especially in Melbourne, I have noticed that the reviews are concentrated in and around the city or in picturesque slightly far flung areas like Yarra or Mornington. But there are hardly any coming out of the suburbs, where eating out at your neighborhood restaurant is the reality for most residents.
Yum! Unfortunately I can only comment on the take away side of this restaurant but so far I've always enjoyed their meals. When we've picked up the staff have always been lovely greeting us with a smile. Love the extra soup for more expensive orders. Small gestures go a long way and they certainly fulfil my sweet and sour pork cravings! They are certainly one we revisit and recommend.
Dinning in usually costs a pretty penny, quality is decent, but I find it's much cheaper to be able to take away, get bigger portions and costs me way less

Everyone I have taken to eat here have taken other friends as they are so impressed. Eat in or Take away just as good. Very helpful & accommodating with food intolerance guests.
Have to start by saying I'm not usually a fan of Chinese but was recommended to this place by a work colleague and enjoyed the food. We had the lettuce cups for entree followed by the Cantonese beef with fried rice and then lychees for dessert. Food was fast and fresh and tasty. Service was good also and well priced for what we ate. If I'm in the mood for chinese in the future, I would be happy to return back here again.
Details: Just had 4 tubs of the fried rice from here shared with my family and pwooooah it was so yummy! We absolutely demolished them all. Haven't sat inside here so I can't give a massive description but the fried rice was to die for ๐๐ get some! So good for a local place to enjoy my fried rice!
98% of the time the food here is absolutely fantastic
We have takeaway from here maybe every second weekend , during the week we have had food from pl a couple of times and hasn't been as good!
Maybe a different chef I don't know

We haven't had take away from Peking Land for a very long time so thought we should try it again, so glad we did!
All the dishes we had we thought were tasty & delicious! Ordered was: Mongolian Lamb, Chilli Beef Szechuan style & Singapore stir fried noodles.
Prices are very reasonable. Will be going back more often!
Great name and location. I've dined a few times
First time 12mths ago and closer to 4 star, this time I my sweat sour pork tasted just of flower, I'm very sure it was the head chef off or new chef on or some excuse!, I'll definitely go back but will be with caution and think if it comes the same it will burn me permantly. Service is very good and owner connect nicely with customers which is lovely!

Never dine in but have always had their takeaways. Pretty good for the price and the taste of the food. Love the Chinese broccoli in ginger sauce. I would say for the area their food is not bad.
Great food and environment. Ate here last weekend with family and the food was very nice. Was initially hesitant given some of the reviews here but the food and service definitely was of the highest standard

Great food. My favourite Chinese restaurant. Love the stuffed scallops, Peking duck, stir fried ginger and shallots crab/lobster with noodles, steamed tofu and fried ice cream. I have been coming here for as long as I can remember and am never disappointed. I recently had my engagement party here and had 94 very full and satisfied guest. Cannot say enough good things about this place!
Got take away - yummy! Large portions, beware of how much you order. Also - be sure to take advantage of their take away freebies ... Make sure you look at the board before ordering, do the Maths in your head and you will end up with a good deal
We went to this place for Mother's Day lunch. The food was good, we enjoyed their famous Peking duck along with other dishes (Kung Poh chicken and Mongolian lamb). The food was tasty and the staff were attentive and friendly however the place was packed to the max, they crammed in as many tables as possible which left it with a noisy and frantic feeling. I wish that they made the place more amiable with nice lighting and less guests crammed in.
Great food, reasonably priced. Duck pancakes were a standout. Really friendly helpful staff.
TOP FOOD. In the evening this place is Busy as and it can get quite loud.
The food is a highlight here with the Japanese Lamb Cutlet, Roast BBQ Pork, Peking Duck the Best Succulent and Tasty.

17yrs on. Still the best value for money Chinese in Rowville. Kim, Eric and the girls are fantastic. Every time i have eaten here and that must almost montly either eating in or take away there has never been a dissapointment with anything. Even during the new year festivites when it can be hectic in the kitchen. the Lamb cutlet is to die for as are any of the chefs suggestions, Banquets are very filling and offer a great variety.
Warm service :) - pleasant surprise!. Went there with my partner's family for an early Father's Day dinner (Sunday evening the week before the actual day). I was really impressed with the food - dishes were tasty, and they didn't all taste the same as each other! (Which so often ends up happening at Chinese restaurants.)
Particularly enjoyed the duck in kumquat sauce.
My partner didn't think the food was consistently good across different visits but I think still worth a visit, because I think the dinner I had is worth it!
What impressed me most was the warmth and attentiveness of the service - so rare in a Chinese restaurant! I'd gotten used to either indifferent, resentful or patronizing; this place was really refreshingly pleasant.
Excellent. I'm usually not a fan oc Chinese but this place is amazing. You ,must try the dumplings and calamari!
Chef specials are brilliant. Peking duck worth every cent. Have taken many friends and family, even had a birthday party for 70 and food was brilliant.
Well done Peking Land. I attended Peking Land Sunday 16 Oct 2011 for family banquet for 21 and two children. Staff were very helpful and attentive, food was different and superbly cooked. Only problem we were the only guests in top level and were a bit squashed in the back corner. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone. Gracious hosts.
My fav place to go. A little pricey but worth it.

- Regular customers are greeted in person by the manager - and he remembers your name (and sends you an Xmas card each year!)
- Have renovated inside a couple of years ago and the decor is very asian inspired
- Takeaway options are fast and you get free extras depending on how much you spend
- Even my fussiest food friend loves the food there

Completely satisfied. The food was amazing; the presentation immaculate; the staff courteous; the service great; the mood perfect. No complaints - our family now comes regularly for great local Chinese food.
I have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while, and we were so impressed with the service and quality of the food. The Peking duck was amazing, skin crispy and very large portions in the wraps. We also had plum chicken, beef with oyster sauce/vegetable and the amazing seafood basket. Yum, yum, yum....and to top it off we found room for fried ice cream and banana fritter to share with our friends double yum. Definitely an enjoyable experience, very comfortable, clean, hand towels at the beginning and at the end of the meal, fish tanks immaculate and staff were amazing. We will definitely be going again. Thank you for the lovely culinary experience we all enjoyed it.๐๐ผ๐๐๐ผ
Absolutely loved the food.
This was the first time my partner and I have eaten from here and it was amazing.
The restaurant was busy, (we were in to pick up take away) and I noticed how lovely the staff were.
The person at the door was very friendly to all people coming and going, obviously a lot of regulars which is a great sign, as he was chatting to them like he knew them.
Overall great experience, great food, even though we had to wait a little (not much at all) it was worth the wait.
We will definitely be back and would like to experience the dine in.

First time dinning here. Such a warm welcoming, like outstanding. Felt like I was a regular customer. Food was great. Had the Peking duck, and loved it. Crispy squid was ok. Chinese broccoli, delicious. Very attentive staff. I will be returning some time.
The staff were a bit too straight forward at first as we landed late and had lesser people than the table booking however all the above info was already informed to them via call but they said no we didn't know. However the food was absolutely delicious and the staff also started warming up to us. Def a great place to have great Chinese food. No complaints about anything on the menu. Huge portion sizes too.
Amazing food that came out in good time (not too quick, not too slow). They were happy to cater to different diets, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
The restaurant was very noisy, but that was to be expected with the number of birthday party groups that were there on the same night as I went.
