Got two pasta dishes. One tomato based, one olive oil tossed pasta. Both dishes were consistent. Undercooked and tasteless. No matter how much I added cheese and salt, it couldn't help salvage the taste. So I just left my dish aside. The waitress came over and asked how was everything and I told her how the pasta did not have any taste at all.
With no hesitation at all, she took the dish away and said she would get a new one made immediately. When the new dish came, it was like chalk and cheese. Pasta was Al dente and the sauce was flavourful.
Kudos to such polite and proactive staff! Second round of pasta was lovely. Would definitely come again the next time. Hoping the first experience was a once off incident!
Best La porchetta in Vic state. I ordered risotto and gnocchi for lunch and it tasted so nice

Visited on Wednesday dinner, so it wasn’t busy. Clean restaurant. The Staff were polite and attentive. Loved eggplant chips. Fried calamari was also good. The side of seasonal vegetables was so fresh and crunchy to my liking. My husband said pizza was ok, could improve with the pizza base. I didn’t expect franchise restaurant to serve such high quality food. I find the prices were cheap with the quality and the big serve. Thank you and see you soon.
Great place to dine with family.... they have amazing pasta and pizza here.. we ordered vegetarian pizza , pasta and chicken parmigiana... highly recommend for Italian lovers

I think La porchetta gets an overly negative review. This one had really nice service with wait staff who I realy felt cared about their customers and the carbonara I had which is an easybto do staple was nice and had all the flavour it should as well as being a large portion size. My partner had the gnocci and loved it. We got lemon mirangue cake for dessert and both thought it was nice. If you want a night out where you don't need to get dressed up or travel far I'd definitely say this would be your place to go if you live around melbourne
I wasn't expecting much from our visit here but I was pleasantly surprised. The service was excellent, particularly from Al who couldn't have been more friendlier or welcoming. My child spilt his drink and they cleaned it up straight away and even gave him a new one free of charge.
Good kids menu was a bonus. Meals were huge (including the kids ones) but they do ask if you'd like a doggy bag to take home the leftovers. Large range of desserts.
Great place to take the family with a menu that is sure to keep everyone happy. We will definitely visit again.
Some friends and I had lunch here yesterday. I was hesitant after reading the reviews.
The meals were bigger than I expected for the price and they were very nice with a lot of flavour. The staff seemed to be run off their feet but the service didn't lack and they stayed smiling the entire time.
We had a lot to eat and drink and still scraped in under $100! It was one of the better la Porcetta's that I have been to. We chose here as the half way point between the group of us, in future I will travel the extra distance to come to this one.
They had a good selection of meals and drinks and were helpful answering questions regarding their dishes.
The girl said they didn't do bread rolls here but I am glad they didn't as I could barely eat all my meal due to its size & they were helpful in packing up my left overs so I didn't have to cook dinner either! The ambience was also nice.
For a la Porcetta I will give it 5 stars.

Delicious !!!. Had a wonderful dinner tonight with the family. Loved the Mixed Grill. The lamb chops in that were so perfectly tender that we were able to give it to our toddler to try. And he LOVED it!! Very generous serving size too. Had to hold my belly walking out. They also gave us container so we could take home our left over pastas. The staff were great. Each and every one of them were friendly, attentive and smiled all the time. Would definitely go back. Highly recommend it!

I have severe food allergies and came for lunch today, I asked a lot of questions to ensure I didn't have any nasty repercussions after lunch - where most places the waitresses would get frustrated and angry, my waitress was more than obliging to answer all my questions, continued smiling through the entire questionare I had to give to ensure I didn't end up violently ill. She then followed up making sure we enjoyed our meals the entire time always with a smile. Thank you Kristen for today it was a pleasure to come here and we will be back, the food was great too!
My wife and I dine here on a regular basis and love it. The food is always great and the staff are always very friendly towards us. Was very satisfied with the BBQ ribs last visit and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who hasn't tried it yet.

All is good here. My wife and 5 year old daughter had lunch here on Saturday. We ordered a kids fish and chips, wedges, and 2 pizzas which we got to take home because we couldn't finish them. Service was fine, food was great and the servings are of good portion. When we were there it was fairly quiet. I would imagine it would be a loud restaurant on a busy night. If I could suggest anything it would be to replace some of the chairs and tables with the booths so that the booths are all around the windows of the restaurant. For the record, the Air con was working when we were there!

After reading the reviews I was a bit sceptical however we dined here a couple of weeks ago & again tonight, both times the service was fantastic, all staff were extremely friendly & happy.
We had barbecue ribs, Parma and my children shared an entree pasta dish. The food was so good & we received much more than we were expecting on both occasions in the way of service & the food portions were huge.

After reading the reviews I was interested to know if it had changed and 3 weeks on I can say that it has.
Food was great, staff were efficient and very friendly, we didn't have a reservation but were accommodated, seated quickly and served promptly.
Restaurant was very busy but we were still able to talk without having to raise our voices.
We will be back.
New Restaurant don't forget.. Waited for about 6 or 7 mins to be seated, but was told there was a 15 min wait. Lucky only had to wait 5 mins more. Overheard 2 other customers who got wrong orders. When my pizza was ready waitress didn't know what pizza it was and assumed it was the right one. Lucky it was the right one.
This restaurant has only been opened only for 1 week or so, and seems they are flustered in their operations & service. ie. confused waitress/waiters/cooks. I'm sure they will iron out the bugs has they gain experience over time. Best to keep an eye out for things that could potentially go wrong especially during busy periods.
Otherwise I did enjoy the food, not bad.
Delicious meal and really lovely staff. Each time we’ve been to this restaurant the staff have always provided excellent customer service. Particular shoutout to our waitress Jacinta, whose name I overheard, and the hostess, who were nothing but friendly and accommodating. We’ll continue to visit this restaurant as long as our experiences remain this pleasant :)
Dinner at La Porchetta Rowville is a very relaxed occasion. The place is not very crowded so you get to social distance pretty easily. The staff are very friendly and helpful. We were given a middle table and we wished to swap to a booth which the staff were very helpful to help us move. Food is so so depending on what you ordered. The steak is good and for the price, is a big serving. The seafood pasta is also good. For three of us, we spent about $84 with three mains and a coffee.
In conclusion, I would recommend this place for steak, spaghetti and the great service. Enjoy.

Very clean venue with nice food. Pizza is a little on the small size when it's called a large. I'm not a big eater but I was still hungry. The service made up for the average pizza size.
