The food is super yummy every single dish is tasty... I love my food and the Prawns reminded me of Maria’s Velankanni... loved their biryani proper TN flavours... the Pazham Payasam was so heavenly to kinda steal from my daughters share....
drank my whole bowl of rasam..
I felt the quantity could have been a bit better..
service was amazing that they came back to deliver a dish they missed.. when a refund was an easier option for them. Appreciate it.👍🙏
The banquet menu at Rozelle’s Nithiks Kitchen is a colourful panoply of rich and flavoursome South Indian dishes. Enjoyed starters including lentil dumplings in wheat crisped shells and yoghurt dressing with potato and corn chapati mix; blue swimmer crab with fennel, ginger, chilli, shallots served on flour pancake; and lamb cutlets served with Indian mint chutney. I couldn’t believe that there were still four mains to follow, I was so full after the entrees! Such a nice setting to enjoy a group dinner.
I would recommend it as one of the best South Indian restaurants in Sydney ! Biriyani , Kottaiyur chicken varuval and lamb chukka were outstanding !
The food was absolutely delicious. Friendly staff and a warm feel. I would definitely recommend this place. The best Indian food I have ever had!
Amezing south Indian food... The entrée were as wonderful to taste as they were visually appealing. Especially the "Holi" and "Pudu" entrée were outstanding.
The main course of vegetable Pongal was a breath of fresh air.
Courteous staff and a nice atmosphere make it a must visit place for sure
Obviously I'm really impressed with this place
We had help ordering from staff and everything we had was just tasty!
Definitely better than your standard Indian restaurant
The negatives, you have to pay for parking on the street around there,I think that's just wrong
Prices are on the dearer side
They had major issues taking my good food voucher, they said it was past it's due date,it was actually the issue date and thank goodness my missus figured out how to punch in the numbers correctly and staff was putting in the incorrect info so it all worked out at the end
Really enjoyed our experience here
They want to be fine dining and are achieving it to some degree but for the waiting staff. Dishes are divine with lot of variations on some Indian classics. Try their lamb street dosa. A bit pricey and also stingy on basic Indian condiments which is rare in Indian restaurants.
Very delicious and will come again but downside is very slow service. We sat down at 8:10 and our mains came out at 9:17. We also asked for no coriander when we ordered, repeated again when both our entrees had coriander in it, and a third time when one of our curries and rice had it inside. Both our entrees had coriander so I couldn't eat them; therefore I had to wait over an hour for the mains to finally be able to eat. Waiters need to improve and emphasize more on customer requests and allergies.
Absolutely awesome. Really enjoyed dinner here for my birthday this week. Everything from the dosa to the curry and beer were perfect.
Been here once and it was amazing. Wanted to book here for my birthday but they are closed for a refurb! Fresh indian with a twist, not westernised indian. Delicious
Simply the best Indian food I have ever had and it just around the corner. He fried chicken entree and the goat curry is fantastic.
It was very noisy and small with people being happy ! I had take away - but I suggest you book if eating in
Not your standard Indian menu either - highly recommended !
Delicious food, friendly service but a bit overpriced. I will return however as it was enjoyable!

Fantastic Indian - I am now an addict.
Not the normal North Indian - delicious and delicate dishes galore. Fresh ingredients. The chef is a local hero. Brilliant!
Dined with friends who have tried three times before to get in ... Absolutely worth the wait! Menu is quite different to standard Indian fare, food is cooked and presented beautifully! Delighted with lentil and rice dumplings, goat curry, and 'orange' icecream. Also enjoyed crab entree and nine veg curry ... Sith deliciously more-ish homemade pickles and paratha ... Will be back to work our way through the menu!
It's the best Indian restaurant in Sydney.. Being an Indian myself I am thrilled to see what they offer.. Not the regular Indian stuff like butter chicken or lamb khorma or rogab ghosh or these vindaloos which people hardly eat in India... But this menu was simply superb and the detail which the chef has put on every dish is amazing.. Service was surprisingly awesome for an Indian restaurant.. Cheers guys and I will definitely come back and recommend this place to my friends.. Because people should try what real south Indians eat...:)
We stumbled upon this place when looking for something different to eat in Rozelle. We've never tasted better Indian. Simple menu, rich tastes, friendly service. Park anywhere on Darling Street (either side of Victoria Road) and enjoy a short walk. Advice: book ahead! It gets busy - even on week days.
Fantastic!!!. I have to agree will some of the other reviewers, simply the best Indian I have had in Australia!!! the food was delicious the staff amazing and attentive and really good value for more!! welcome to Rozelle Nithink's Kitchen I for one am really happy you are here!!! my only worry is that with only 25 covers we might not be able to get in soon!!!
Love it. Delicious curries, friendly staff, nice and clean venue. Will be back.
Amazing! Food is incredible, service was fantastic. Modern Indian food with a warm family feel. A very welcome addition to Rozelle. Could not rate the evening highly enough. You must go!
Firstly: this is the Indian food Sydney has needed for years. Secondly: it's not as expensive as those $$$-signs imply.
This food is DIFFERENT!! Fresh, off the norm, seriously flavourome, and worth every cent. These people are so passionate about their craft, the flavoured and the food...Sydney people get in here!! It redefines what we think about as decent Indian tucker. Enjoy the attention to detail, the subtle flavours, the not-so-standard menu choices, the rice AND bread menus... For a funny little suburban in Rozelle, these guys are seriously moving & shaking it. MORE please!!
Absolutely obsessed with this place!! Every dish is so authentic and flavoursome. We ordered almost everything and every single dish was better than the last. Service was also great with a really warm atmosphere. Can’t wait to visit again!
Amazing food and amazing service. I came here from a word of mouth recommendation and look foward to coming again. Would recommend for fellow vegetarians! The pictures don't do it justice. Highly recommend a visit
Thanks Vikram, the Chef, for providing enjoyable dine in experience with authentic cusines, pleasent vibe and overall hospitality.
Having previously tasted their food from varous parties wanted to experience dine in experience. So went there to have a dinner as a part of family member's birthday celebration.
As it was a weekday, the restaurant was not crowded. But still the wait time was bit excessive but was compensated with the authentic taste of each food ordered.
The entre Grilled Goan Prawns tasted authentic Konkani Style. The veechu parotta combined with Kathirikai chops was my favourite. Palak Paneer tasted divine, Meen Manga Charu was classic and Karikudi Kara Kulambu was authentic chettinad style. Chapati and Veetu Dosa were pretty good too.
Thanks for the surprise birthday song.
Sunday Special Lunch combos are very unique. Extremely authentic Tamilian / chettinad / karaikudi flavours. Will keep coming again and again.
We got to know Nithiks kitchen from one my friend party. From then I am awaiting to taste their food. But due to Sydney lockdown we only got delivery options that too they introduced different combo every week. Last week we tried non veg combo which has Chicken 65, Bhai Mutton Briyani, Brinjal Curry, Raita, Bread Halwa. It’s taste amazing I’m missing this Bhai Briyani for almost 2 years. Today I ordered Non veg combo of Kongunadu Mutton Briyani, Curry leaves chicken, egg gravy, raita and elanneerr payasam(Coconut sweet pudding) and also orders from this week menu Fish Gravy, Mutton Gravy and Crab Omelette. Wow is the only word I can say for their dishes. I become the fan for them. Neat Packaging, Yummy foods and happy stomach with satisfied taste tongue buds.
We have been to Nithik’s few times. Had lunch for Mother’s Day, was a bit disappointed. The food still is tasty but the courses are not complete. The price for the banquet is $65 but there is no starter that they would bring in as soon as you take a seat. No palette cleansers, no condiments and no dessert and the service is slow. You don’t increase the price and take away courses. Need to go back to pre COVID days.
