The food is amazingly delicious 😋 the taste is exactly like what I has in Italy.
Very fresh pizzas. Quick orders.. Short wait.
I loved my piccolo.. There are very few places where you get a perfect piccolo and this is one of those cafes /restaurants.
Wheelchair accessible entrance and unisex 🚻 toilets are there. Indoor and outdoor seating is available.
The restaurant is normally closed on Mondays. Other days opens at 7 am and closes at 10 pm.
Very convenient location. It's the best Italian cuisine I have ever tried in Sydney.
Highly recommended..
Love the pizza! Garlic oil makes the pizza perfect. Skip the salad, not really worth it. Atmosphere was good, drink was lovely. Will come back to try more!
Just picture it: an authentic focaccia al formaggio di Recco. it was absolutely fantastic, just like the traditional one. There’s nowhere else in Australia that makes it. So that if you’ve got a craving like I did, book a table right now. Grazie Recco Lab, hopefully you’ll open in Melbourne one day!
Inner west Sunday sessions are in full swing after the launch last weekend of ReccoLab’s L’ Aperitivo Italiano Sunset Sessions.  It’s bitter and twisted with the unveiling of their Aperitivi cocktail menu, designed in collaboration with Campari Australia. Apertivo Cocktails, like food and art, are woven into the fabric of Italian culture, often distinguished by color, and can include drinks like Aperol (orange), Campari (red) and Cynar (red). Popular aromatized wines include vermouth, chinato and americano. Combining the two with a dash of soda, a top of prosecco or, Negroni, a shot of gin, brings to life some of Italy’s most notable and great tasting aperitivo drinks and Reccolab brings that northern Italian tradition to Inner West Sundays!

This is the taste of Italy in Rozelle. There is great food and great drinks including the divinely refreshing Aperol spritz, and great service too. There is a lovely room at the back but in the front there’s a party zone as well as an ornately tiled wood-fire pizza oven that has a Wow factor that holds court near the entry.
Recco may not be a well-known tourist destination, but many people visit this little Italian coastal town south of Milan for one thing – its Focaccia al Formaggio made with stracchino. Lucky for us we found one of the few places in Sydney, if not the only one, that serves this unique dish. Combining his passion for music and food, chef and owner Antonio opened Recco Lab in 2017 named after his hometown. He sees his kitchen as a lab where chefs create unique individual experiences using quality ingredients and traditional recipes.
Authentic Ligurian food. Everything was good and they gave us few different types of focaccia to taste, I loved them!
Also the staff was nice.
Lovely venue which has breathed some life into the Balmain Shores area of Rozelle. Great food, great service and great atmosphere. The owner Antonio is lovely, really warm host. I cannot go past their Margherita Pizza. Absolute classic done to perfection. The signature focaccia dish is also well worth the wait. It's slightly pricier than other Italian hence why I did not score a 5 out of 5. Otherwise brilliant. A wonderful experience is to be had, and i look forward to dining here again.
Trust me.....I’m from Melbourne and this is the good stuff!! Perfect base and quality toppings. The guy next door will help you out with a great Italian wine on a take away ***** 🤤🤤😋😋

Pizza, a true expert once told me, is twenty percent worse by the time it gets to your home. I try my best to honour food by eating restaurant food in restaurants wherever possible. So while I did cheat and try out ReccoLab’s pizzas before dining at the restaurant, I don’t review home delivery. Needless to say though, they were good enough takeaway for me to wonder what they’d be like in-house. Cue me: taking a trip to this buzzing glass box in an upmarket part of Rozelle.  It’s a grander enterprise than I’d imagined, with two distinct dining spaces running alongside three separate kitchens. In the front café there’s a gleaming white brick wood fire pizza oven, and a busy white-clad pizzaiolo firing off pizzas. The second glass-fronted laboratory style-kitchen is where the Neapolitan pizzas (and their naturally proofed 48-hour dough) are created. The third kitchen, responsible for the rest of the menu, is in the bar and restaurant section of the long space. It’s a convivial atmospheric room with dark wood detailing adding something organic to the modern, minimalist space. The hard working bartenders turn out cocktails of a very high calibre. Ananas Mezcalito ($17) is...
Gorgeous light-filled cafe space with an adjacent restaurant bar. The woodfired focaccia is amazing and brings back memories of similar had in Rome many, many years ago. The cannoli and gluten free brownie are also very good.
ReccoLab is also currently running an all-you-can-eat pizza night on Tuesdays which would be worth giving a go.
Great new addition to the area and really good food with great staff. We only had a quick dinner a couple of weeks ago with the kids but would recommend highly. Well done.
Great Tuesday pizza night. Loving the cocktails. All you can eat pizza provides great variety. All the pizza are fresh cooked when waitress walking around to each table. My opinion way better than ordering only ourselves.

Would have had higher marks for food but the service was so bad that they forgot one of our mains. Then they started justifying and making excuses. Finally a very professional senior staff came in and fixed everything in a minute... Wish he had trained the other waiters. Food was good and the place has a very welcoming warm feeling.
This place is great. We were running late as our daughter left her phone at Birkenhead point, and they were very accomodating. Thank you !
Superb food, exceptional service and wonderful ambience.
A bit of Liguria in Sydney. The staff is a mixture of italians and local sydney siders. the bar serves delicious cocktails and even better wine and beer.
Very higly recommended for any type of setting, family to a romantic dinner.
We had lunch and for entree we tried their famous Focaccia al formaggio with prosciutto and truffle and it was absolutely delicious! I had Mortazza pizza and it was excellent,
I definitely recommend it!
We had a set menu for a group of about 20. The food was plentiful, tasty amd came out at a good pace. Staff were attentive and prompt.
