Just there to try Xihuahua đ¶ 's coffee. Very good flatwhite. Creamy and aromatic. They were severely understaffed so we changed to takeaway so we can carry on with the walk. Plain white cup is a little lacking. Looks like they had very delicious croissants!
For a little cafe right in the heart of Rozelle, this place packs a delicious punch. Whilst it was very busy on the weekend, we didnât have to wait for a table nor was there a lengthy wait for the food.
Even if there had been, it is certainly worth the wait! The all day breakfast menu is unique and there is plenty for everyone to choose from. I loved the corn fritters that were seasoned and spiced perfectly and you canât go wrong with the home made hollandaise! My partner enjoyed the spicy Cairo eggs that also had plenty of flavour.
Neither of us could fault the food, coffee or the friendly service!
We will definitely be back to enjoy this cute little cafe and try some more of the delicious brunch items!
This is my go-to cafe around work, has a pretty cosy court yard and service is always friendly. Decided to try something different and, like everything thay do here was pretty good! Will continue to come here for sure!
Piccoloâs is a favourite of mine around Rozelle! Delicious and different with friendly staff and a cute ambiance. You just must try the Piccoloâs breakie!
Ok! I'm torn between rating this on the food alone and rating it based on the entire experience. On the food alone - delicious!! Can't fault it. We had the bruschetta - avocado, feta cheese, drizzle of oil, poached eggs and haloumi on the side. Tasty!! But
Only ONE toast! I get this whole hippy, fancy lifestyle but seriously? One toast for breakfast? For $18? C'mon! I deduct 0.5 off the points for that.
Coffee was good, I must add!!
Friendly staff. Cool relaxed vibe. Great food and even better coffee. Looks small from outside but has a back room which opens up for extra tables.
Modern Lebanese fusion cafe conveniently located on darling street. This place has a lovely outdoor area to escape the busy main road. Their coffee was strong and smooth and their service was prompt. I had their quinoa and pumpkin fattoush salad. This was very generous, tasty and perfectly seasoned. There was a nice balance of textures of the crunchy seeds, fluffy quinoa and the smooth Labne. I was very pleased overall!
Piccolo's of the regularly busier cafes in the area. That may be due to the fact that there is a sense of a little more effort in all areas than many of the other cafes. You certainly pay for this with price and portion size but the quality is certainly there's and service is solid also.
I've avoided eating here for some time as I found the weekday staff a little supercilious whenever I have stopped in for a coffee and also because a regular coffee here is 20% up in anyone else. They do make good coffee though.
Sunday breakfast was the choice to try the food and like the coffee it is above expectation. Plates were nicely presented and although not generous by many standards, the food was tasty and made with care. Corn fitter was crispy on the outside and topped with a spot in poached egg. We finished with an almond croissant, and which contained a surprise smear of strawberry jam on the inside. Pretty nice I must admit. Service was good with plenty of staff on deck. Seating is indoor, pavement or out the back in the courtyard so all based are covered based on your need for privacy or people watching.
Overall I was pleasantly pleased so I will be fair and give the weekday hipsters another go when the opportunity presents.
I am visiting from Melbourne and found Piccolo's on my first morning in Rozelle. The coffee is delicious and the food hearty, however what brought me back three days in a row was the friendly and warm service. As a cafe owner myself, it makes my heart sing when I receive such genuine and excellent service as this. Everyone greets with me a smile, I was lucky enough to be served in particular by Ally who is definitely an asset to the business owner! Thanks for the warmth and welcoming atmosphere Ally, it was very nice to meet you!
Fresh and good quality food, yummy chai and helpful staffđ Will come again! Breakfast and coffee for two was under $40...Recommend the Bruschetta toođ„
