The best vegan food I've ever eaten in Sydney 😘. Fair price and everything was delicious! Will come back again. highly recommend it!! I'm not even vegan, but I really recommend everyone must try it!

Our first time trying this vegan restaurant and it was an absolute delight. The environment was simple, delightful and homely. You could find Buddhism elements everywhere - very zen and peaceful. Aunty Rita welcomed us. Her English isn't the most fluent however she was so warm and welcoming. She patiently explained to us about her vegan menu. Knowing we were curious, she also shared with us the story behind the restaurant going vegan. Regarding food. We were Sooo Satisfied. The Curry Laksa was our favourite with so much warmth and flavour. Another main dish with Lion's Mane Mushroom was so tasty. The mushroom was full of flavour and nutritional benefits. We also tried the Taro Tofu Roll as an entree, which was simple and enjoyable. We sincerely hope your business will become busier and busier. It's hard to become vegan and lose all your regular customers. We believe your kindness and endeavour will bring you great karma and abundance 善緣嘉道 喜樂永存

It takes a bit of courage to change an existing Malaysian restaurant to a vegan one so all credit to the owners for giving it a go. I tried the Hokkien noodles takeaway and found the dish to be well prepared and tasty. Would have liked some more veggies in it but otherwise enjoyed it.

Great addition to the vegan scene in Sydney, authentic Malaysian vegan food, all the flavour and wonderful friendly staff. We will be back!

Great to have this new fully vegan option in Balmain/Rozelle. Had the satay sticks, Rendang Curry and Mee Goreng - all delicious. Will be back to try the rest of the menu.

Ordered a couple entrees just to try. (Take away) Dumplings and BBQ skewer Only got 3 mediocre dumplings for $8 They were thick, a bit chewy, and just overall disappointing. BBQ skewers tasted a lot nicer, (also $8) very good but.. I had expected them to be on a skewer? Is that just me? I like sticks. Also a small portion for the price. Picture below is $16 I have ordered a few other dishes that I won't get into, trying to give it all a good try but I'm just disappointed, I really want to like the new vegan menu.

Highly recommend this authentic restaurant with a good variety menu and great portion size. I was blown away by a tasty fruit snack called Rojak 🤯🤤
Does My Bomb Look Big In This
Malaysia Small Chilli Restaurant is a modest restaurant that sits just past the Rozelle shopping strip, opposite the green surrounds of Callan Park. Despite the advertised closing hour of 9.30pm, dine in customers need to arrive before 9pm. We slide in right on the dot of nine, and manage to wrangle permission to eat in, so long as we agree to take only half an hour. While we dine, the empty restaurant continues to do a brisk trade in takeaway meals. Rather than sharing style, most of the meals here seem predicated on fulfilling the needs of a single diner, so we get a bit of side-eye when we order three dishes between two people. The décor has only had a small update since the demise of Vietnamese predecessor, Little Hanoi City. The rice paddy mural...
