I love going to the Corner Bar. Fun vibes, the bartenders are great at what they do, the other staff are friendly and a good time is always had! #cornerbar
A great local venue with quality service. I have been coming here for the last one year and can't pick one flaw. The cocktails are amazing. Food is top quality. Location next to me house. This place gets all ticks.

The scramble is fluffy and the Big Marn Breakfast comes out on a sizzling plate!! Well worth it! Great coffee too.

The smoked salmon brekkie roll is a winner. A generous portion of smoked salmon is served on a delightfully soft brioche bun with a hash brown, soft poached egg, wilted spinach and hollandaise sauce. Already planning a return trip to have this again!
Good Decor , Great Staff , food could be improved . Paying $5 for a side : baked bean /w speck , you would expect a generous portion , rather than a small sauce saucer sized plate with no speck in site .
Corner Bar deserves top marks for their excellent service! The girl working there was so lovely and really on the ball for a number of reasons, and on top of that they also had an iphone charger for my friend who had a dead phone since the morning.
Their cocktails are mostly around the $16 mark which is cheaper than a lot of places, but either way we weren’t feeling like alcohol so asked for a mocktail. It was tasty as most mocktails are, but also not that creative. Sweet and fruity (pineapple) so you can imagine it would go down well.
Also got some chips to nibble on and what a great choice! They were really good and perfect for that afternoon snack. Slight crisp on the outside and soft fluffy on the inside. Yumm 😋
One downside was the really creepy bathroom! With skeletons, dim lighting, upper half mannequin, dolls, and other random knick-knacks, I can’t say it was a particularly enjoyable setting.
Brilliant food and an equally friendly chef with a very professional waiting staff. Corner gem this place more than a bar. Very limited seating. Make sure you get an outside bar table.
Great bar for coffee, lunch, drink or dinner. Good menu and lovely wines and beers. We enjoyed the tapas menu on last visit. Super staff - come you will enjoy.
Corner bar is the perfect place to sit in the sunshine, sipping on cocktails whilst snacking on a delicious selection of starters.
The pan seared scallops with chorizo quite literally melt in your mouth. The flavour combo is delightful and I made sure there wasn't a single remanent of scallop left over.
The saganaki haloumi was my second favourite dish, when haloumi comes on the table, I always know I'm in for a good time and corner bar didn't disappoint.
If you're wanting something to fill the belly a little more, you can't go past the posh pie floater, it's up there with the best of them and gives the Lord Nelson pie a run for its money.
Gorgeous bar located in a bright spot where you can laze all day and night drinking cocktails and sampling the menu. Bossman Lindsay is very friendly and makes sure everyone is well looked after. I highly recommend the posh pie floater and the pan seared scallops.
Amazing little bar that has good food, good live music and a very buzzing atmosphere!! A highly good place to come when you are in the mood to relax, yet still have a great night out.
This place has great chips!! They are one of my favourites in Sydney! Really really crunchy and super tasty.
Drinks are reasonably priced and not too stingy on the alcohol content.

For the time that I've lived in the inner west, I don't ever come to Rozelle. Now, that I'm no where near Rozelle, this place has charm to it. Oh my... Talk about psychological affect.
Came here on a week night, the place was not packed, but had a decent crowd. The venue has this eccentric presence about it, like walking into someone's house and seeing all their travel momentos and this old world feel. Old machineries type thing, barbie dolls, and dolls alike hanging on the walls. I want getting the theme of this place but it kept you visually entertained.The bathroom deco would have to be the most interesting. It felt like you've walked into a Halloween party! You have to see it to believe it. That's the decor.
As for the service... It was rather forthcoming even though it wasn't super busy. No one came and asked whether we wanted a drink to stay off with, so we literally had to go to the bar and order our drinks to let the wait staff know that we exist. Finally we got some table service but was slow to begin with, but got better with time. Still... You shouldn't have to feel like you have to get their attention. It should just come naturally.
Anyhow, the food was yummy and so were the drinks. Had two glasses of Spanish wine, and a pineapple mojito which was just yummy. I absolutely loved the Spanish wine. Rich full bodied with blue and blackberry tinge to it. You had to let it rest for several minutes before drinking it, and boy, was it worth the wait. The red is called (Finca Rosal Old vine) worth trying if you're into Reds! A good place to hang out, chill in good company and eat good food!
For food we shared peking duck sliders that came in threes. So hard to share when it comes in threes! Couldn't they go two or four to make sharing a little manageable? Oh well... We managed at the end. Also had scallops and chicken wing in sticky sauce which was yummy.
Great place to hang out, though they do shut quite early.
A friendly, local gem just around the corner is a dangerous combination for the wallet but this place never ceases to tempt for a drink or two, or three....
A Rozelle local that for some reason I hadn't yet tried. Killing time on a Saturday morning, I stopped in for a coffee. While the coffee was ok not great, I really loved the vibe of the cafe and the friendliness of the staff. This place is always packed with happy relaxed locals, definitely somewhere to come back soon with the gang.

I visited Cantina Bar’s older sibling after I’d enjoyed the – admittedly wilder and more cohesive – second gen. version. That’s not to say this one isn’t worth a peek. In fact it’s my missive here to alert you to the possibility of small bar crawling along the peninsula. Big sis shines brightest in the drinks department: the standout Sangria ($10/glass) is enriched with Sailor Jerry’s rum and passionfruit.
Delcious and enjoyable. My friend and I recently went to Corner Bar for brunch and left with nothing but good things to say about this place. The food was delicious, though a small selection of brunch options are offered - both of our meals were perfectly proportioned and prepared. The combination of staff and eclectic decor really create a warm atmosphere. I would love to check it out when it turns into a cocktail bar - can only imagine how great it would be!
Good spot... reasonable coffee.. Been here a couple of times for a coffee (and also breakfast today), good spot settle into Rozelle and relax, do some people watching, and enjoy a reasonable coffee.

Awesome Local Small Bar. My wife and I moved to Rozelle a few months ago and we go to Corner Bar often. This place is an absolute gem. Rozelle is lovely but its sleepy and boring at night time. Corner Bar is our only local small Bar and they do a great job. I really feel for the guys whenI read some of these slanted reviews, but granted you do get a different level of experience when you come during the day and at night.
They are open during the day for coffee, weekend brunch and then cocktail Bar at night - they are providing a massive boost to us Locals. In my experience the night time Cocktail bar groove is great. Awesome drinks and ambience. The weekend days get flooded with families and prams and people queuing for take away coffee, so its a completely different vibe and it can be chaotic.
That said - I think this place is great. A funky, well run local cocktail bar is something Sydney needs more of.
I think its disgusting that people can slander a business by calling the owners racist, what a load of unmitigated rubbish. I hope people like you don't come to Rozelle.
A good time locally!. I've just moved into Balmain after spending the majority of my time in the East.
My neighbour told me about this place. I must say, what a treat! Sliders were great, beef burger very tasty and the staff informative and friendly. You won't like this place if you have kids ( thankfully I don't ) as its small and very much a bar atmosphere. You will love it if you like a good cocktail ( $16) the vibe of a busy city bar, and tasty food at reasonable prices. My new favourite, that's for sure.
Great atmosphere. First waitress was pretty useless - think she was just coming off her shift - and our food order was lost for 30 mins. They fessed up though and offered a few drinks on the house. Food, when it arrived, was delicious and well-priced. Will be coming back when we have another afternoon to spare!
I've been here several times and really like the ambience and food but the service after 5pm is pretty average. Each time Ive been there at night its always pretty slow to serve despite not being very busy. During the day its as you would expect, snappy and professional. Aside from this, it has the potential to be an even cooler neighbourhood business.
Uber cool and cozy. Exceptional little neighbourhood place, service was excellent, its warm and cosy and the they have gone to great lengths with the decor - worth visiting just for a look of this. Great wine list, they will do well.

Great Value. Fantastic little wine bar. Very friendly staff, great atmosphere and excellent food - the pizza slabs are great to share and the chips are to die for. Well worth venturing out into the cold to visit this little gem.
The food is fabulous - I seriously wanted to order everything on the menu. The staff are lovely and helpful. Great atmosphere. Corner bar is my new favourite.
