Located on busy street in Rozelle, Rozelle espresso is the perfect place to sit and sip on your coffee whilw enjoying a beautiful Sydney day! We spent a nice afternoon here and tried the Truffled Egg Carbonara and Rainbow Brioche French Toast...both the dishes were amazing..the French Toast especially got us a lot of attention đ
Great variety on the menu and good service. We ordered the scrambled eggs (Mediterranean) and tuna nicoise salad. Both so tasty and big portions! Prices are also reasonable! Definitely would recommend and dine again!
Rozelle Espresso is a open and airy cafe in Rozelle. They have the same owners as Tiny giant, and an extensive menu as well as a play area for kids, making it the perfect family weekend hang out spot. We came here for brunch one day, keen to try it out. For our drinks, we ordered the Oreo milkshake and Orange, apple, watermelon and carrot juice. These were great drinks, the oreo milkshake was nice and creamy and not too rich and the juice was made fresh instore, making it a healthier alternative to smoothies.
Great local cafe with a wide selection of food. The truffle infused fried egg is a great addition to any of the dishes and a favourite of ours!
We came on a Sunday around 1pm and it was reasonably busy.
Staff were very friendly and the cafe is pet-friendly, so bring your furry friends!
This big and spacious sister cafe of The Tiny Giant Petersham is within walking distance of Rozelle Markets and is definitely a must-try if you're looking for a good feed around Rozelle.
Make sure you check out their cute signature brioche toast with fairy floss on top!
Disclaimer: This was a visit by invite.
Very spacious dining area with nice natural lighting!
Looking at the menu, it was pretty pricey for cafe food. Ordered the spanned crab pasta ($25) and the big breakfast ($24.5)
However, the portion sizes were insanely generous! The pasta was topped full of crab meat as well which was very much appreciated. We werenât even able to finish the big breakfast as there was just so much food.
Definitely would come back again just for the pasta!
We came on a
Thursday afternoon at around 4pm. Quite empty by this time.
There is a sentimental quality about the place. It's also very spacious cafe, great for families and kids, and also plenty of outdoor seating.
I had the fortune of trying a bunch of dishes but my favourite by far was the Chicken Pasta with truffle oil, and the Salmon with baked potato and asparagus.
Disclosure: visit by invite.
Rozelle Espresso is located on Darling Street, with paid street parking available out the front. The Rozelle Collectors Market is also conveniently located straight across the road if youâre visiting on a weekend. The staff were accommodating, and very friendly. I loved the interior design and white tables (I mean, who doesnât love a white background). We ordered a cappuccino and a latte for our drinks. For food, we ordered buttermilk pancakes, sweet corn and zucchini fritters and the veggie plate with avocado. All meals were served fairly soon after we ordered, and at the same time (hooray), all with perfect presentation with the perfect taste. I would highly recommend this cute little cafe, and Iâm already looking forward to my next visit!

The first thing youâll notice about Rozelle Espresso is that itâs a huge 70-seater cafĂ©. The proximity to Rozelle Markets ensures this big capacity is useful, âespecially on weekends, when weâre full and sometimes thereâs a queue,â our friendly waitress explains. For a casual weekday brunch it makes for an airy, light-filled space with enough space between tables to comfortably bring a pram and kids who donât always sit quietly and still. You might recognise the frosty green colour scheme from their sister cafĂ©, The Tiny Giant, in Petersham. The aesthetic here is bit more modern, but there are still some cute potted fake plants, along with a green wall, hanging ferns, dangling cords and exposed hipster bulbs that draw your eyes up into the vertical space. The other thing you might recognise, especially if youâre a brunch devotee, is the signature Persian pashmak-topped Brioche Toast ($19.90). While it has similar visual appeal, the Rozelle Espresso version here actually eats better. The caramel is rounder, and goes gangbusters with fresh figs; the brioche toast is more savoury; and the...

This child friendly, pet friendly, and stomach friendly cafe at Rozelle is always our favourite when we're around the area. Sister cafe of The Tiny Giant Petersham also have their signature Brioche Toast with Fairy floss on top..... đ
If you're looking at good food, good place to chill with your family, friends and kids, this is definitely the place to go.... đ
With also their ACAI PANCAKES on specials as we speak for a limited time only, you definitely have to pay them a visit! Made in collaboration with @TheTravellerCouple. So healthy and so good! đđđŒ
Price is reasonable for the portion you get! So big and definitely worth to share... đ
Came as a guest. The easiest way for me to remember where this is,is opposite Rozelle markets/the public school
Ordered a Big Vege Breakfast,it's name is very fitting. I do eat a lot despite my size and I couldn't finish it.
My missus had the Quinoa salad with chicken, she liked the flavours
My favourite is the sweet potato chips,I don't know what they did to them but it was extra crunchy and the mustard sauce really goes well with it
Food came out quicker than expected and staff and polite and attentive
The sweet potato chips are a must try!
Nice cafe with ample seating. There's a kids play area at the back, so parents with kids seem to prefer the back of the cafe. There's outside seating as well facing Rozelle markets and the bust street.Â
Promptly seated, good service and nice new menu item -Acai Pancakes. Was beautiful
Had the berry bowl! Was amazing
Really good service and the food looked and tasted amazing!
Easy to find, its off the Main Street and parking was easy also.
Loved it

Rozelle Espresso was light, fresh and had great coffee - everything you want your Saturday morning to be! The staff met us with a friendly smile and showed us to our table, and the first thing we noticed were the high ceilings and the bring decor. It was buzzing, but not too loud and was big enough that you could get a table without having to queue - a rarity on the Sydney brunch scene. Itâs also a super family-friendly venue with space for prams and a play area at the back of the cafe.
There are countless hidden gems in Rozelle and Balmain area. It is probably going to take us a long time to cover some of the very good ones in town. We stopped by Rozelle Espresso which is located at a street corner and lots of free parkings nearby. . Outdoor seating is also available for you to enjoy some sunshine or to spend some quality time with your pets. I personally loved the comfortable casual seating inside and I can see myself coming back again with a bigger group of friends!
Rozelle Espresso is a great spot for a breakfast or brunch on any day. The menu offers a variety of choices and I would definitely recommend the fairy floss french toast!
We returned to Rozelle Espresso to check out their updated menu and noticed they have partnered with The Tiny Giant to add the fairy floss brioche to the menu which is a bright and exciting choice. The cafĂš is centrally located across from the school that hosts Rozelle markets, making it a great place to stop after working up an apetite browsing.
Loved Rozelle Espresso. Staff were very friendly and the service was great.Â
As soon as we sat down we were approached by a staff member who got us water and asked if we would like coffee before our meals.
The cafe is very spacious and I really liked the way its designed, part of the menu is written up on blackboards around the cafe. The cafe gives a family vibe and it is kid friendly.Â
I ordered the Italian style angel hair pasta, the pancakes, carrot and watermelon juice, the berry bowl and chips.
The pasta was so delicious and it had the right amount of tomato paste and cherry tomatoes. The pancakes were very light and I enjoyed it.Â
I thought the berry bowl was a bit too milky and the flavour of the milk was too present.Â
There's always room for chips.
Parking was easy, plenty of street parking.
Had a great time and i highly recommend it. Check Sydneyfoodfrenzy for my insta pic :)

One of the better cafes in Rozelle in my opinion. Big and spacious with a creative area for kids to keep occupied whilst you gobble down some of the goodies on offer. Coffee is Campos which is always a pleasure

This is one of my fave brunch spots I've visited in Sydney. It's on a gorgeous little corner in buzzing Rozelle, with big windows bathing the space in plenty of natural light. There's a great vibe, it's busy but relaxed with people sipping coffee, dogs tied around chairs, and people reading theirs newspapers. Great brunch vibes and the staff are also super friendly.
The food is absolutely delicious and so beautifully presented. Here's what we ordered:
Corn fritters - I have such an obsession with these and here they serve them with a dollop of sour cream which just takes them next level!
Smashed avo - keeping it simple with tonnes of avo and a soiled sourdough base. Prettied up with some edible flowers and added a side of haloumi coz why not.
Pancakes - the prettiest pancakes all beautifully folded and arranged amongst flowers, fruit, caramel and maple syrup. Fluffy and tasty, I could have devoured more syrup though I think!
Freshly squeezed OJ - a must and always bonus points when it's served in a mason jar with cute little toppings for a flat lay.
100% will visit again!

After the Bay Run, we came to Rozelle Espresso to have a relaxing brunch! It was the perfect place to do so, with such a chill vibe around.
The food was absolutely delicious. We had the pancakes, and the corn fritters - both were cooked perfectly!
Coffee is here also amazing :)
What a great way to start your morning with all this color (see pics). From the freshly baked cup cakes to the fresh summery mixed berry smoothie.
Thereâs something about their French Toast. Chef tells me that his egg coating incorporate Cinnamon and Vanilla which sits on a liquid lattice of Caramel. Topped with Fresh Banana, Strawberry and Blueberries its vibrancy and nutritional components give a great start to your morning. What I like m@ost about the mixed berry smoothie is that it's not as heavy as I've had them previously at other places.
The service is lovely and friendly. I actually recognised one of the waitresses, Flavia from The Tiny Giant Petersham and didn't realise they were sister venues! All in all a great experience, nice space for casual brunches, family get togethers and kid friendly!
Rozelle Espresso is a charming café with large windows allowing for plenty of light and numerous tables so that the weekend wait times for a meal are drastically shorter. It is also very child friendly, with plenty of toys, books, boards and activities to keep your children occupied while you have that much needed coffee.
The menu offers a good selection for breakfast and lunch items. The service is lovely and the food is tasty. If youâre looking for something on the sweeter side we definitely recommend the buttermilk pancakes that were light and fluffy. Looking for a more savory option, then definitely try one of the wraps or the club sandwich. Paired with a freshly made juice of your choosing, you can't go wrong.Â
Definitely a family option cafe with all the knick knacks provided to keep the kids entertained. (Even the big kids) đ
Sometimes when picking a cafĂ© you want to be dazzled by out-there creations such as Tiny Giantâs Brioche Toast garnished with a cloud of pink fairy floss; sometimes you want to be inspired by a unique menu like Edition Coffee Roastersâ Norway meets Japan offering; but sometimes you just want an unpretentious, well-priced meal that hits the spot. Rozelle Espresso falls right into this category.
The quiet suburb of Rozelle is one that we usually pass through to get to Balmain and we tend to forget that thereâs quite a few cafe options on their village-style main strip. One such option is the spacious Rozelle Espresso, which is in a prime corner location with contemporary wooden decor with some greenery hanging from the ceiling.
It took an age to drive there in morning traffic but when I arrived @rozelleespresso for breakfast it was well worth the wait đ
Double Cheeseburger: double seasoned beef pattie, double cheese, mustard, tomato sauce and whiskey sour pickles đ
The beef was so soft!! Thanks to V, M and the team for allowing me to double it - and to Claire from CPM for the Invite đ
The sweets were also above and beyond. Nice clean French toast and beautiful soft ricotta cheesecake. Berry smoothie was very refreshing.
We were kindly invited to rozelle espresso. One of the suburbs we dont usually find ourselves in.
The cafe was quite big with a very casual layout, i always love seeing cushions it makes places feel more homely.
Sam had their signature spanner crab angel hair pasta, holy moly the serving was big and it was delicious, sam polished the entire plate in about 10 minutes. I had a spoonful and gave it a thumbs up too. Lots of flavour.
I was craving eggs... so i had the vegetarian big breakfast. A very generous serving of scrambled eggs cooked quite well, mushrooms, spinach, 2 hashbrows, 1 grilled tomato and 2 slices of sourdough. You get your moneys worth, i am a lover of eggs.. no really, i love eggs.. and the scrambled eggs were on point. The mushroom and spinach lacked flavour, a small amount of seasoning would have made it top notch. Theres not a lot you can say about those big breakfasts, i feel like its more about the plating? And i was quite happy with the way my breakfast was plated.
We didnt expect the meals to be so big so we ordered a side of sweet potato fries. They were lonngggg crunchy with a side of aoli which could have been slightly bigger to match the generous serving of fries. We were so full and couldnt finish the sweet potato fries, we had to doggy bag it.
Rozello espresso got their drinks down pat. My watermelon ginger and orange juice was freshly squeezed and very refreshing. Not a single pulp in sight. Sam ordered the banana smoothie, he said it was good and gulped it all down -you dont receive a lot of feedback when you are eating/drinking with a hungry man
This is very casual joint which is excellent for a catch up, or if you are hungry... your bellies will definitely be full afterwards.
Despite being a former Balmain resident I had never sampled the cafe offerings in Rozelle before today. Rozelle Espresso is perfectly located on Darling street opposite the popular weekend markets. There is some free parking however you will generally have to park in a ticketed spot.
This cafe is very child friendly with a huge indoor space and an area just for kids full of toys to keep them occupied. The decor is unlike any other with an eclectic mix of almost anything lining the walls. The coffee was a little on the weaker side for me, although, if you like your coffee creamy you will be pleased.
As far as food is concerned we ordered the shakshuka and the big brekkie. The shakshuka was delicious with the spiced peppers and chorizo mixing perfectly with the baked eggs. The big brekkie as you would expect had a bit of everything including eggs, bacon, mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, chorizo and sourdough bread. Not a bad deal for $22 and also included an orange juice. The meals came out quickly and were the perfect temperature. There is an all day breakfast menu that has something for everyone.
Next time we would try the lunch menu as it had some tempting options including chicken schnitzel and spanner crab angel hair pasta.
Put Rozelle Espresso on your list especially if you are taking your children with you to brunch
Wonderful, spacious and relaxed cafe. The service was superb and the food was outstanding. Recommend the Belgian Waffle, they were beautifully presented and so tasty. The coffee was amazing and their baked goods are absolutely delicious. Enjoyable for breakfast and lunch.
Could not fault at all.. The food was delicious, the coffee was great and the staff were accommodating and lovely! I loved being able to sit and relax while my 3 year old was able to play the abundance of toys near by. I was in no hurry to leave. It's a pity I'm from interstate or else I'll be back more often.
A kid friendly oasis in the middle of busy Rozelle. The huge bright space is a rarity for an Inner West cafe and means parents with kids can happily easily coexist with other patrons. The kids menu is awesome as well as the babycinos.
