Went here on a Saturday for lunch. We were a group of 5 people.
The interior of the place is pretty good. The rump steak lunch special was supposed to be medium rare but it was a bit too bloody right around the middle. And it seems to be too simple as compared to previous photos of the rump steak.
Probably an OK pub for the area. We went to another pub nearby and did not like it at all, so we went to The Family Inn and stayed there for an afternoon meal. Food was very good and big meals. I ordered food, it was the lunch special - the $15 fish and chips. Quite a simple dish which you would expect to see out in 10 minutes, yet it had taken nearly an hour to arrive. Decent local pub, good spot to grab a bite and a beer for people who work in the area. The restaurant seems to have changed hands a few times over the last few years, and the food is hit and miss. I'd say miss the fish & chips, and the schnitzels, and hit the nachos, burgers and pizzas.

The lunch special is really good. but Salad sauce is a disadvantage. The salad sauce was sour in my point. Also, the chips tasted sour because the salad and chips were together. If you develop this point, the menu will be wonderful.
I’ve been here three times. Twice for a meeting with a client and once with the family and friends. The place is very large and spacious. The customer service by the staff is friendly. The food is decent.
The Family Inn is located on the corner of Victoria Rd and Park Rd, although not too appealing on the outside, there is parking at the rear and has a beer garden.
