Amazing service, and the food is absolutely delicious, the chef here is brilliant, could not fault this place one bit!!
Highly recommended
The best Persian cuisine restaurant in Sydney by far. Great service and great food.
Farsi restaurant is actually one of the strongest reasons to be confident about staying in the city that I am living in. Thanks for being in Sydney for us and thanks for being very professional, these guys have delivered one of the very best tastes you can try in Sydney with constant great quality in terms of food and the way they treat people.
Love this place and absolutely recommended to everyone including restaurant picky people.
Been coming here regularly over the years and for Persian kabob this place is consistently good and you never leave disappointed.
I normally order the Vaziri as the koobideh and joojeh are always good and it comes with a massive serving of rice. The starters of mast oo khiar and salad Shiraz never let you down either.
The two big let downs are that it is ridiculously overpriced for what it is and the customer service is generally very poor. As an example you will call at 5.15 to place an order and they will tell you to call back at 5.30 as this is when they open instead of taking the order and cooking it when they open. They have little annoying quirks like this but you get accustomed to it over the years and you learn to work around them.
But overall, in terms of the food, of all Persian restaurants in Sydney this one is definitely the best in terms of quality and consistency.
If it wasn’t for the poor service and for it being overpriced, this place would be a 5 all day instead of the 4 in which I have rated.
Good for family gathering, been to this place twice now!
They are always making it best with their hospitality. Great restaurant, I am definitely heading back for more. Their traditional ice cream is my personal favourite now.
Being a chicken lover, I tried Jooje ba ostokhan and I am completely drooled over. Just so drooolworthy😍
Highly recommended. Friendly staff with tasty Persian dishes. Always enjoy my time there. Try kebab and traditional ice cream . Good for family
Authentic and full of flavour with this restaurants dishes. My favourite dish being the ghormeh sabzi, it is one of the best I have eaten. Their dishes of course are very filling especially for the portion of the rice, you can be sure to leave full.
Prices aren’t too bad, the bigger the dish, the more expensive it becomes.
Bookings are required to reduce disappointment, parking can also be a nightmare if you find yourself attending the restaurant on a busy weeknight. They are helpful if you are running late trying to find a space though.
Live singer/piano on Saturday nights- does give a nice ambience into the Iranian culture.
Excellent food, so much flavour! The service was great, and the bathrooms were clean. Loved that it wasn’t too expensive either, I’d come here again!
The food is Nom Nom Nom here. It's a tad on the expensive side for Iranian food. However, satisfactory considering how Nom Nom Nom the food is. The service needs some help. Typical two face Iranian service. Fake smiles, pretending to be nice, but they really can't stand you and just want your money. Thats normal for Iranians. I know, I am the biggest two face Iranian. Actually one of the waitresses doesn't know what a smile is. She must not be Iranian as its obvious she dislikes everyone. Doesn't do the fake Iranian Torof at all. I would come back again to eat the delicious food. Nom Nom Nom!!!
Really nice Persian food. The entrance is quite interesting, you have to go through this kind of tunnel of greenery to get in, and the door looks quite imposing. Inside, it has quite an upmarket feel to it.
Great food (although leaning towards the expensive side). The rice is very good, fluffy and delicious, although the butter in packs, cheapens the feel of it.
Good tasty meat dishes
Excellent food and service. Highly recommend. Very quick for food to come out and you will leave very satisfied. If you have never tried Persian food then you are missing out.
Our family visited this persian restaurant for the first time. Staff were welcoming and received us with respect. Food quality was perfect and the prices reasonable.
I have been there with my husband for few times. Very nice and clean environment, authentic Persian food, just a little bit more expensive than other Persian restaurant. On Saturday night they also have live music there. Recommend Saturday night.
We stumbled across the FARSI sign where a narrow garden alleyway led to wooden doors with a golden sign saying "OPEN".
The ladies at the counter offered us a menu to browse through. The size of the pictures were large and enticing. The colours of the food and description made us very hungry so we decided to sit inside.
Beautiful restaurant~ fine dining with large portions on a medium budget.
The food came out looking amazing, if not better than the pictures! Portions were MASSIVE! The flavours were delicious, I've never had Persian food before and I can definitely say we'll be back, with more of an appetite!

Authentic persian food. Nice atmosphere and very warm staff. On Weekends they have a set menu and live music. Had an awesome birthday dinner experience. Highly recommeded.
My friend took me there for persian food. Taste was extremely good and tasteful.Great place.great food, great atmosphere. Will go again when i come to Sydney
The best Koobideh I've ever had, other kebabs were also pretty good. Great restaurant, friendly staff and nice decoration. If you wanna taste real Persian food this is the right place.
Best Iranian restaurant in Sydney by far
Great stuff, fantastic food, impressive environment
I'm their costumer for few years now and never disappointed
My first time visiting Farsi and I know it won't be my last! I won't deny that I have been to quite a few Persian restaurants and this is one of far better ones I have been too.
The location is not too bad, you can easily get parking at the top Ryde parking centre (3 hours free).
The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is quite pleasant.
The food was wow, I had tasted the mince, chicken and lamb kebabs - let me tell you - they were all just yum! All were juicy and tasty - you will notice that the whoever was behind the kitchen took their time to make it all tasty and succulent. If anyone wants to try some traditional tasty Iranian / Persian food I would be bringing them here! However one thing I would recommending is to book in advance or there may be a chance you would be disappointed.
It has koofte , believe me . It was really delicious , great taste and awesome . I enjoyed visiting this persian cousin and the environment was beautiful too . I think they have an experience iranian chef . I really love it .
A pleasant change, interesting authentic meals served by efficient and charming staff. The meal sizes are quite sufficient and reasonable priced. Try the fermented yogurt drink, the perfect accompaniment to settle the heat of the peppers!
We are regulars at Farsi. Its a beautiful restaurant and very simple yet elegant. The kebabs are very reasonably priced and the specials they have are great value for money. The koobideh kebabs have been consistently good and the jojeh are even better. They have this thing on Saturdays of meat and rice and it is strikingly brilliant. Staff is very nice and sweet as always and very accommodating for any requests. They never say no. Their ice creams are stunning as well. Highly recommended!
Best Time Ever
Wonderful Service And Super delicious food we were 11 adults and two kids
in group family event, even kids they loved it very much and warm and so polite
service we all experienced God Bless Chef And all staff involved making our day
super enjoyable , thanks million Farsi Resaurant . From Alice West Ryde
A new and relatively classy Persian restaurant. The food is as good as any and the service is much better than most. Good clean white decor. Only problem is that there is no mobile phone reception whatsoever . Have to go outside to make a call. So make sure your group is aware before you miss a call...
Delicious food and generous servings. The eggplant and mint starter was really nice, and the chicken kebab was expertly grilled. We went for a late Saturday lunch (around 2pm) and had no trouble finding a table. The atmosphere was a bit hushed but we quite liked it actually, there is a nice internal architecture and all the other guests were Iranian which was a positive sign. The service was slow to start (getting the menu etc.) but once we had ordered, the food came out quickly. Not sure where the previous reviewer was looking but Farsi does have a website (easy to find through Google) and it is very comprehensive.
Wonderful. Very delicious food
Very clean
Wonderful staff who are very friendly
A great atmosphere
We had a great time !
Amazing. Best Iranian food available in Australia .
well done by expert .
Awsome atmosphere with great staff. I really enjoyed my time with my husband there. We went there on a Saturday night. The live music was marvelous, the singer lady and violonist created a great atmosphere for us. The set menu was fantastic too, especially their entree.
