Usually will grab a coffee here if we have been to dinner in too Ryde but want a change of atmosphere for a coffee and bikkie.. I like coffee emporium coffee and this one is good
Nice atmosphere being in the middle of the courtyard and its lovely on a sunny day. The customer service is attentive and its a great place to grab a coffee and people watch.
I have always walked past this place but wasn't at the time i needed a coffee.
I finally got to trial it yesterday.
Ordered the smashed avocado with a poached egg and Haloumi! Deliciously tasty and not too filling as it came out with only 1 piece of toast.
The cappuccino came out in a big mug! Good caffeine to get your morning started.
Staff was friendly and they have pumping music at 10am! Which is definitely different to other cafes ive been to.
Good outdoor alfresco dinning especially if you can find a table in the sun to warm those frozen toes!
Now for the taste. I still prefer the coffee’s at Oliver Brown but it could very well just be the chocolate sauce instead of the powder that wins me over there. When coffee emporium first opened up, the coffee was a bit bitter for my liking however this time round they seemed to have mastered the technique of not burning coffee and taking the time to make it as perfect as they possibly can.
Great Drinks!. Came here for a quick meeting in the afternoon and was delighted by, the orange juice which tasted great. The prices are good and the atmosphere is great.
Great staff very friendly, frequent customer and love the fact it's a family run business. Great coffee wouldnt go anywhere else and great little menu
