Review Rib Runner - Ryde

Have ordered food from Menulog app past couple of times. I heard great reviews and positive experiences from friends. Thus I thoroughly enjoyed eating their specially made ribs. Met the owner himself, very welcoming and friendly, always making sure I'm being looked after while they're cooking up the storm! Great service!

I am a long time customer of the west ryde store and happilly so always deliver promptly with a smile and tastes great, until last night where the ribs which were delivered were ordinary to say the least, perhaps you have a new supplier but the quality was really poor. Fortunately the rest of the meal was the usual high standard so I will try again in the future, however on the off chance the owners or friends read the reviews, please take a hard look at your ribs because the last order was rubbish.

Quick delivery. Pizzas not as good a quality as they used to be. Toppings not right to edge. Got garlic and mushroom pizza with no garlic and a tomato base instead plus a big thick black hair. They replaced with a fresh pizza.

Horrible food! Stay away from this place!!! We ordered beef ribs and chicken anchilada and vegetarian burrito. We got to two exactly same wraps, just one had dry chicken in there. Ribs totally overcooked, dry and unbeatable. Source is like fresh from the packet. We paid $74 for the order that went to the bin!

Sometimes the ribs are fabulous, sometimes ordinary, but I reckon they have the best pizzas in the area - tasty and generous filling size. The potatoes are also tasty, but the corn is overcooked, so ask for more potatoes instead of the corn.

The worst food ever. We ordered (Family Combo 2 racks of ribs, 10 BBQ wings, 5 potatoes) and what we got was 3 ribs a stomach full of abuse from the staff for telling them 3 ribs was not 2 racks of ribs! Lots of swearing and cursing from the staff plus repeated monotonous answer of how a family pack is 450grams of ribs!!! If you want to eat ribs, order from The Hurricane Grill or from ANY other store. At rib runners you are sure to get the worst food, argumentative and abusive staff and no customer service at all!Had a real stomach full of RIB RUNNER! Running away from it. Won't ever order from them again!

Absolutely abhorrent... would never recommend it to anyone! Chicken burrito was literally just dry af chicken in a stale dry wrap.. no sauce no guacamole or rice. Just a chicken wrap. Beef burrito was inedible as sauce for beef mince tasted like it was just tomato paste. Again no condiments in the stale wrap had to smother in sour cream to make it semi edible. Beef ribs tasted old and had little meat on it.. Hawian potato was okish.. again quite dry and could have done with either some sauce or the cheese to be melted more. Was told not to try this place but thought I would give it a go as I wanted Mexican. Furthest thing from Mexican I have ever had and 100% will never return. And I warn you to never give this place a go! WORST 70$ IVE EVER SPENT! Soo ripped off! If I could give a minus rating it would be -1000 out of 5. Save yourself the hassle and rip off and go somewhere else

Had a great takeaway meal. Had 2 very hungry adult males plus myself to feed. We all wanted different meals in the end settled for the family meal deal, wedges and tacos sooooo much food but was very full afterwards. thanks

Ordered the "Ribs for one" (450g pork ribs). Ribs are HIGHLY disappointing as had close to no meat on the bones. It's as though the pig was anorexic (the irony)! It's quite obvious that meat had been carefully purposely cut off each rib! <br/> 250g of ribs at other restaurants is able to fill me up but I was still hungry after their "450g" ribs. <br/>Just gutted that I couldn't find my kitchen scales to weigh them.<br/>Ordered through menulog and they have unfortunately disabled their reviews (says alot) on there so couldn't warn others.<br/><br/>Never again and will make sure to let as many people I know to not go there. Absolute rip off, go elsewhere!

Well, the above (and below) photo speaks for itself.<br/><br/>Bought the 'Snack Pack' for $15.50 - should have bought a rack from the butcher myself, and cooked them myself. <br/><br/>Ribs tasted okay, but the presentation was absolutely repulsive - especially being served up in a styrofoam pack. <br/><br/>Your taste buds may go 'mouth watering' over the design of this shopfront, but don't be fooled - I would compare it with the quality/ value of a kebab takeaway. Nothing more.
