Review The Coffee Club - Ryde

Allan Fong
Coffee Club is located on the lowest retail floor of Top Ryde shopping centre, and when seated you can see all of the other retail levels above. It wasn't too busy on the Sunday morning, and I didn't need to wait long for my dish. Sadly the smashed avocado was very average: the bread wasn't very well toasted, the poached egg was tiny, and dish lacked any distinct flavour. Adequate for a meal, but don't expect a gourmet, quality chef prepared dish.

A nice place to eat but menu is a bit expensive. My favourite meal is the pesto chicken flat grill with a nice iced tea. Not too shabby

I ordered bacon and eggs role. The bread was good but the bacon was barely cooked and eggs were to hard. Coffee was normal.

Just walk past this place and smell the aroma coming from the kitchen and try to not stop at this place! A nice place to grab a brekkie or lunch after your shopping at Top Ryde. Extensive menu and well priced.

The team was actively serving with a smile. Latte and Almond Cap was tasting well. The Chocolate Mud Cake was delectable and it was slightly warmed as per my request. The chocolate butter cream filling with moist chocolate sponge with dark chocolate frosting is absolutely worth a bite to celebrate an occasion or treat yourself anyday. Worth a visit for a cup of coffee and to sit in an open seating area with social distancing.

When you tell a staff member thank you for bringing your coffee and food their answer should be “your welcome”, not look at your face and say nothing. Why are staff rude these days ?

Terrrible. Wouldn’t go back. Decided to meet friends at 3pm and have a coffee. They advised kitchen was closed which was fine cause we weren’t ordering any food however everything was given takeaway cause they couldn’t be bothered cleaning up. I ordered scones and was given in a takeaway container without cream and then had to ask for the cream. The closed the shop whilst we were still sitting there and didn’t even realise not even advising us they were closing up. Tables were left dirty. Laziness and poor customer service. Don’t waste your time

The price was relatively high. The Lemon Pepper Calamari was good (though there seems to be too much vinegar in the salad), but the coffee was not as strong and aromatic as the ones I had in other the coffee club cafes
