I love the little charthouse cafe it has quickly become a family tradition to eat here. Rana and Su are absolutely fantastic and take service to another level. Food has never failed to blow the taste buds away and is always presented beautifully. Rana has a real knack for putting a unique twist in every dish on the menu. Oh and make sure to check out the art piece Su creates. Simply one of the best places to eat in the entire Rockingham area
Thankyou so much Rana and staff for the best food, great hospitality and always making us feel welcome. Loved my parmi it was by far the best one I've ever had. I would recommend this cafe and will be back
Service is fabulous and the food is fantastic! Had the salt and pepper squid, butter chicken and orange and almond cake (made in house) and it was all scrumptious! The butter chicken is nothing like you've had before. Do yourself a favour and try it. If this cafe was in the northern suburbs, I'd be there every day. Thanks so much for a fabulous meal.
Friends from Scarborough recently recommended Charthouse Cafe, so my niece and I went and had a late breakfast today. Wow. The food and service is next level. So refreshing to meet such genuinely lovely people who are passionate about what they do. I can honestly say that was the best eggs benedict I have ever had. The homemade hollandaise sauce was devine. Everything was perfect. I'm looking forward to my carrot cake for afternoon tea. Will definitely be back.
First time visit for a meal after having had coffee there previously. Fantastic food and we will be back to work our way through the menu. Rana and Su are friendly and attentive and Rana has worked as a head chef in some interesting circumstances. So lucky to have a local treasure like this. Seafood chowder was a special delight.
Awsome food, Awsome menu, Awsome coffee. beautiful meals, presented by Friendly staff with a welcoming attitude.very relaxing place to eat. Highly recommended
Fabulous food, amazingly good service and wonderful people running this little gem. Cannot recommend Charthouse Café highly enough.
We had the best lunch yesterday. The food was absolutely delicious the best I've had in the whole 12 years of living in rocko.
Took my grandson to dinner last night, just the two of us. He had his "usual" minute steak from the lunch menu. We also had a garlic cheesy bread between us , it was plenty, and very tasty, just the right amount of crunch!
I tried the morrocan lamb shanks. Just the right amount of spice, and the meat just fell off the bone.
Veggies were a great accompaniment.
Rana and Sue greet you by name and you always feel welcome!!! Nothing is a bother for either of them.
Have tried all three dinner, lunch and breakfast there and each time there was empty plates!
I have been here couple of times to have breakfast. Always felt amazing. Friendly staff, great food and services. They chef talks to the customers which is good. What a lovely atmosphere. Keep up the good work!!! See you soon.
First time here yesterday. Mushroom Risotto was delicious! Hubby had the minute steak which he also loved.. chef himself brought out our food and was so lovely. Will definitely be back again.. great pricing for lunch menu!
Superbly tasty meals.. well presented too.
Highly recommend. Well worth the 100km drive
Absolutely beautiful food! The Butter Chicken is to die for! Owners are just lovely and we feel like family. Just down the road so nice & close to home!
Wow what a wonderful evening out with family and friends. The food was incredibly tasty, excellent serve size and great prices! BYO wine too. Staff were so accommodating with the kids and so friendly yet professional. Definitely be heading back to try breakfast abd another evening meal
Unlike your common, cold, calculating, callous carnivore (Yeah baby … alliteration!) Sherman believes that some cafes and restaurants deserve to thrive and prosper not only for serving delicious meals but for the enthusiasm, friendliness and attentiveness of the staff. Charthouse Café is one of those places.
Upon entering for the very first time Sherman was met with a happy “Good morning” not only from the waitperson but also the chef. Upon finding a nice spot near the window the table was set with water, cutlery and napkins, the server even talked him through some of the items on the menu. But as Sherman always(?) knows what he wants, there was no need … one big breakfast please, fresh juice and a large, large flat white. It was a late night after all.
Coffee came out first, hot strong and very tasty, followed shortly by the juice, cold and fresh (and real). While waiting for breakfast the server noticed Sherman looking through the newspapers, trying to find today’s edition. As it was close to opening time, the paper wasn’t there, so the server ran out (literally) and fetched the paper for him, after all Sherman has a short attention span.
Breakfast was delivered and boy, what a delight it was. Containing all the usual suspects; eggs scrambled to perfection, three (count them, three!) hot and tasty chipolatas, two hash browns, grilled tomato, crispy bacon, a serve of sautéed ‘shrooms and two slices of toast. What a treat, everything was cooked to perfection and his scrambled eggs were the best he'd tasted in a long time.
Sherman will be back to sample the wonderful atmosphere and delicious food that this café has to offer. Charthouse Café ... truly a neighbourhood café worth visiting.
This is a great cafe with friendly service; And really good coffee!
Green outlook and indoor and outdoor areas are spacious . Easy access for people with canes, walkers & wheelchairs.
We enjoyed the meal tremendously; the Buddha bowl was delicious. Avocado & toast really tasty. Butter Chicken Curry so tasty & filling.
Highly recommend this hidden treasure. Go there!
Service was excellent! We ordered the Charthouse Big Breakfast and Charthouse Big Vege Breakfast.
Great size portions and everything tasted good. The poached eggs were a little over cooked with no runny yolk and we were served normal toast not sourdough as stated on the menu
Superb food, with warm, friendly service. The dukkah-crusted barramundi was perfectly cooked. The iced lemon tea was one of the best we have had for awhile. In a previous visit, we had the cleverly plated tandoori chicken salad, served in a sort of edible pappadum bowl. The citrus and mango flavours were a delight, contrasting with the yoghurt dressing. Perhaps the sweetness could have been toned down a little, though. The chef obviously has an eye for detail and appreciates feedback, as he checked if everything was to our satisfaction.
Just a short note - they charge $2 for an extra plate when sharing a meal, though.
This little cafè is quite the surprise, with the chef being notably good and the meals being incredibly satisfying. The butter chicken is just divine!
Friendly staff and impeccable food.
My first Seafood Chowder which came highly recommended, did not disappoint! Delicious and filling. I will definitely be back again. Mum had the cobbler with salad and immensely enjoyed it.
Took some time away from. work to take the wife for a cheeky lunch date for valentines day. The food was great we both had fish. Cobbler for me and Hoki for the wife. Both were really well cooked and the side salad were great. Lovely family run Cafe. Cannot recommend them enough.
Amazing food and the owners are super friendly. Gotta visit this gorgeous cofe shop
