Love this place! The best coffee, they also have coffee mugs that are recycleable & groovy! Great food & produce of the highest quality! And very friendly staff
Great Deli, and good coffee enjoyed in a fully protected alfresco environment from these cold winter days which overlooks the Safety Beach foreshore with views to the heads. Very relaxing, just love the place.

Good vibe, helpful staff, quality produce and local!
Good coffee right across the road from the beach. Quick service considering the long weekend holidayers. Great range of specialty food products and fresh organic produce.
More of a food store than a coffee shop. It’s a providore. There’s some lovely stuff on offer here. Our stop was for coffee. Coffees here were good. The vegan bar we chose to go with it though was lovely. The toasted Meet Joe Black was a beauty as well. You can sit here and look over the water at Safety Beach albeit with the car park in the foreground. Any water view usually works for me. The service was adorable here and that was great. This place is good..
‘An upmarket convenience store’
Was looking for a place to grab a bite and didn’t want to soak in cholesterol’s so found this well presented joint with many Mediterranean options. Tried their spanakopita and mushroom pie which I found a bit soggy. The coffee was pretty good but I found the staff a bit slow and on the welcoming page!!
I think plenty of options but a bit overcrowded with products and what I found disturbing is that when I ordered & about to pay for my coffee and some corn chips, I had to pay at one counter for the coffee and a different counter for the corn chips. It was confusing to say the least as it’s the same store and only two metres apart from where I picked up the items.
Nevertheless, at least somewhere to eat a bit of quality!
it reminds us of the David Jones food store in St Kilda but not as expensive and with a fantastic range of food, love it, best food shopping on the Peninsula, well done
Pricey but impressive Provincia. If you're looking for exotic Mediterranean ingredients on the peninsula, or have an Italian family, Provincia was the destination of choice until a few weeks ago. It's now under serious competition from the Ritchies IGA in Dromana which recently unveiled a huge renovation and range of gourmet products.
There's still great ice cream and cakes but at a considerable cost, eg, $6 for a (very yummy ) vanilla slice. The staples are high priced too - eg La Molisana pasta at $3.49 per 500g pack - when you can buy 2 for $5 at an upmarket Hawksburn greengrocer, ie, it's even higher priced than some of the most expensive stores in Melbourne.
The fresh produce is exquisite but you will pay for the privilege - $9.99 a kilo for yellow peaches when most places down the coast sell them for $4.99. But there are plenty of imported products you can't get anywhere else, as well as fresh pasta, a huge range of cheeses - and decent coffee from 6.30am.
It's definitely worth a stop if you're down that way - but save your pennies and pounds for its pleasures!
A nice slice of Italia on the peninsula. I was happy that my bicycling group stopped here for a break during a ride from Frankston to Sorrento, and not just because I was fagged after the uphills around Mount Martha. Provincia serves up nice coffee, up to Melbourne standards. It cost $4 for a regular (one shot of espresso) and $5 for a large (two shots.) That seems a bit pricey, but it’s what one pays for having coffee on the coast, I suppose. I accompanied it with an OK cannoli ($3.50) which was not large, but it was fresh. Provincia uses pastry cream for its two-flavour filling. I prefer ricotta, but que sera, sera. If I lived locally I would be in there all the time to buy Italian groceries. Provincia's selection looked great. I have Med Market instead in Brunswick for that instead.
Thank jesus finally somewhere down here you can get something nice to eat
Perfect place for a pretty good coffee (they have all the milks) and a walk along safely beach. The smart money orders over in advance over skip, and just be aware that there are Italian doughnuts at the counter which will get you if you’re not mentally prepared.
What a food store! Fresh food and prepared food available, plus desserts, hot drinks, deli meats, continental brands and delicacies. Grab a takeaway coffee and go for a wander along Safety Beach.
A great little Beautique grocery store located opposite the Dromana beach, offering a great selection of groceries, local wines, healthy takeaway, cakes and coffee.
This place has the best coffee I found on Mornington Peninsula At Safety Beach The food fruit veges and groceries are amazing pre made lasagne quiches and lots of interesting foods great cakes and sandwiches you name it it's there with a pizza place and chemist warehouse nextdoor
Lovely helpful staff & very nice produce available. We picked up a platter for our Amazing Co mystery picnic! We actually stayed for coffee & cake too! Will be back 🥰
