On the last leg of our trip we booked into the dog friendly caravan park across the road. New years eve mind you, thought we would have a meal at the pub. On arrival were told no dogs allowed anywhere on the premises. Never have I come across a pub where you cannot have a dog outside in the beer gar

I’m not a local and was travelling through on a Friday night. Pleasantly surprised that the food was as good as in any country pub, anywhere. Friendly staff, good service. Clean, neat and tidy.

Lovely place to take the family great food n great location

Good food, a little pricey. $16 for a chicken schnitzel burger and chips. Nothing else nearby so you pay a premium. Would stop in again

We stopped in on this pub on a long bike ride and the staff were very welcoming. There is an outside area protected from the wind where we could park the bikes close by and enjoy the shade and cool drinks. Totally worth a stop on the way to where ever you are heading on the Golden Highway

Great upgrades to the old girl. Food and service were great. Well worth dropping in for a drink and reasonably priced meal.

Stopped in Sandy Hollow on the way to Dubbo for a change normally stop in Merriwa. The Tourist hotel had a sign PIES. Fancied a pie and coffee, what a mistake. The coffee was fine, the pie could have literally poured out of the tinfoil. Disgusting mess worst pie I have ever tasted. Never again will

Very clean and well presented pub. We will be back for a feed on our next bike ride
