Such a delightful experience from our provence style setting with fountain, green hedging over views of the Syrabah hills to our taste tempting morsils of tapas mauritius inspired food, we were wined & dined like we were the only party & to our surprize the owner Cameron met us on arrival & we felt like old friends. We enjoyed the last of 2004 Pinot noir & wham bam thank you mam is all I can conjour up. The Alooda pana cotta dusted with ginger bread crumb secured our next reservation... muy bien!!
Could not give this wedding venue a more beautiful review - absolute bliss with perfection of location, food, wine and hosts of amazingness! Definitely a must to add to your wedding venue location if you are on the hunt! Without a doubt you will have the most amazing day full of memories to treasure forever xxx
So beautiful!! Visited here today, nice meeting you all
Yesterday, the staff (and alpacas!) made my sisters wedding the most fantastic of days. The wine is delicious (hello cab sav....), the food was fantastic, the scenery and the setting and the smiles. Just brilliant.
Terrific staff, great facilities and simply stunning.
Amazing service, from the first day we had a look around the property to the day of the wedding. Everything left us with a feeling that they cared about our wedding as much as we did. Can't forget about the venue...absolutely stunning.
I must have accidentally posted 3 stars when I was on your page last year - I do NOT know how that happened, because our wedding day was PERFECT! So sorry guys, but it's fixed now. Sarabah is an absolutely gorgeous venue for a wedding, and our day was everything we could have hoped for and more. All our guests commented on the superb location, food and fun. Even the evening rain couldn't dampen the mood. We'll always have wonderful, happy memories and can't wait to return for a visit. xxx
One of my favourite place
Beautiful rose and the red and the white aren't bad as well.! :-)
Beautiful setting, amazing food.
Awesome people, Awesome Place!
The food was nice and the servings generous. The staff were lovely, too. We didn't like the flies buzzing around, even inside the restaurant. And all the mosquitoes in the toilets. Unfortunately, it was raining, so we couldn't go exploring too much without gumboots! The creek had flooded the road near the entrance, but they ferried people by 4WD from side to side, so you didn't have to attempt it yourself! I'd go back in the winter to see if it's better, insect-wise.
Such a beautiful country place, and it couldn't be better to spend the afternoon here.
The host is really nice here.
Although the choices in the menu are limited, but delicious cuisines are all we need.
The red wine here is really good, and the price is friendly.
Highly recommended, Sparkling Shiraz.
Our party was a little late due to water over the road, and our table was then in use by another group. While we then waited for an alternative table, our whole group was given a complimentary wine tasting. Staff member Hannah offered a most attentive and informative session while we tasted the amazing wines.
Our meals were just delicious, using seasonal produce and local produce where available.
The grounds were beautiful and perfect for a stroll.
Sarabah winery- Amazing pizzas- Rob makes the best you will find anywhere! Wine tasting was fun and delicious, went home with great memories, a smile on my face and some great wine to enjoy at home. Thanks for a great afternoon
Wow. Just wow. A hidden gem, well worth the trip down the dirt track. The smell of the woodfired pizzas grabbed our nostrils, but the incredible food inside won us! From the spectacular presentation, the quality product to the superb cooking, our tastebuds went on a journey of a Michelin quality restaurant! Whilst the service let it down a bit, still was worth the wait!
It all started with the fun country adventure to get to the Bistro. Location and chalet are very good. Staff are friendly and helpful. Menu is varied with many appealing options. Meals were large. My rabbit pie was fantastic. Wines are typical for a small vineyard. I would rate them average. We loved our lunch and will be back with friends.
I don't know how they do such fantastic food and wines time after time. Yes there are busy times and yes we might have to wait a bit longer at these times but it was definitely worth it. The food really is first class and the atmosphere is just what we expected from a family owned country estate, warm friendly and welcoming. We are Sarabah vineyard Tragics and will be back soon. Love your work.
What a lovely night feeling like part of the family. After the initial confusion of where to go for dinner, we were greeted by lovely staff and locals. Pizza was the only option for dinner, and it was definitely worth it. Rob did a great job of cooking it for us. We could choose to sit in the white gazebo, outside tables or in front of the pizza oven and chat to the locals and staff (we chose this option). Was a great way to spend a few hours enjoying pizza and drinks. Will definitely be back! Thanks for the unexpected lovely night 👍
