We dropped in for lunch as we were driving back from the North West and had a magical feast. The gourmet platter was an outstanding ensemble of some of the finest tastes all from Tassie. Matched with a couple of Tassie wines, and with attentive, informed and pleasant service, we had a ball and left feeling like well-fed royalty. Certainly recommend it - and making the effort to book to avoid disappointment.

One of our best food experiences whilst holidaying in Tasmania. We ordered the Salmon dish and the Ragu dish. Absolutely exquisite. The flavours and textures were combined so very well. The service was excellent and the setting just wonderful. The whole experience was most pleasant and enjoyable and when we are next in Tasmania we will be sure to visit again. Highly recommended!

My brother and sister in-law had their reception here at the conservatory last night and it was absolutely amazing! They set it all up so beautifully and the hors d'oeuvre (especially the stuffed mushrooms) were divine! All courses were a great compromise between vegetarian and non veggie! The main platters were soo yummy and desserts.........YUM! They catered for the children that were attending with activities and even catered for my son, who won't eat cooked veggies, with a huge bowl of raw veggies that all the kids tucked into and enjoyed :-) And I can't forget the service, which was outstanding! All the staff were well presented and just amazing to deal with! Thank you so much Tasmanian Food & Wine Conservatory for such a lovely evening, delicious food and a fantastic atmosphere

Absolutely glorious ! And those who know me ~ well ~ let's just say I am slightly fussy !! Glorious coffee , brunch was ohmazing (see pics ) .. only gripe I have is the iced chocolate was average but that certainly won't stop us coming back(but that was consumed by a male ) ... perfection and the staff are just superb ! Friendly and welcoming.. definitely worth turning off the Highway for !

THE most amazing gourmet platter (with a mushroom soup starter) we've ever had at a very reasonable price. Quantities between the 6 of us were more than adequate and what an incredible variety of local, fresh and delicious produce. There's nothing like this in WA. We will be back for sure. Thank you

Calling in for an early valentines lunch and with the understanding that you are hard to deal with (lots of "food causes tummy issues" Gluten, Dairy etc, etc) We could not have been looked after better. Exceptional setting, exceptional service, exceptional food. Thank you for making our day so wonderful x

How lucky are we to have such a sophisticated and warm eatery/winery that prides itself on supporting local produce. The staff go to lengths to ensure that you're educated on what you're eating and where it is coming from.

Great service and atmosphere, and really enjoyed the share platter. Gluten free bread from Straight Up in Hobart was a highlight. Better book though as it does get busy!

What a beautiful building. And inside has to be seen to be believed. Stunning. Food and drink from each very corner of Tassie. I had an excellent coffee, beautiful donut before walking away with a souvenir of Hobart whisky. Highly recommended.

This is the best Doughnuts I’ve ever had in Tasmania. Wish if they were open everyday. Coffers are lovely and the hot chocolate is exceptional

I love this place! Such a great vibe. The layout and styling of the cafe gives such a calm and relaxed atmosphere. The food and drinks are presented beautifully. And everything tasted delicious. A must visit while in Tasmania. In Sassafras area.

Great experience this place with a large group! The platter was absolutely huge and we all loved the venison salami, selections of cheese and cured Salmon on offer. Everyone appreciated the decor with lots of windows and plants and having someone play the piano during lunch was just amazing! Only wish the service was a bit friendlier and welcoming and would have been perfect if there was an additional a la carte menu. Also, the options of sparkling wine by the bottle are extremely limited (only 3 options)

What a great spot! Especially as a tourist (or a local!) the chance to eat fresh locally made produce in a beautiful setting was amazing. Helpful friendly staff, and plenty of nice craft drinks (non alcoholic too!) and options. Recommend getting a 2 person platter and sharing, you won’t be hungry afterwards! You can also buy a lot of the produce used in the shop as well and good ideas for gifts

Amazing food platters. Very nice setting. Alfresco area was a green velvet lawn shaded by trees or umbrellas.

Absolutley love this little gem and you will too. It is apart of the tasting trail, serving Tasmanian produce, it is such a cute little boutique place in a Conservatory style building.. Great place
