Absolutely fantastic food, lovely friendly service, brought out so quickly and stunning presentation! They really put a lot of love and effort into their food. Cannot recommend highly enough

Came here for lunch after a walk on the beach with our dog. We sat outside and were greeted by a friendly staff member who gave our dog a bowl of water :) We then ordered a chicken teriyaki bento box and a 12 piece sushi and sashimi platter. They were very well presented and tasted good. Would recommend to round off a nice day out!

Very minimal dishes for the price, we were all still hungry afterwards. The Braised beef came in a soup form which I wasn’t expecting with no vegetables as described on the menu, very disappointing and very expensive.

Consistently great! The sushi is beautiful and fresh, lovely staff, indoor outdoor seating. Our go to for Japanese.

One over rated Japanese restaurant. We go for lunch and ordered Wagyu M9 Bento ($33.80)and Salmon Teriyaki Bento ($33.80). The Wagyu is tiny slice and over cook with a bit of vegetables, it should just call Beef and vegetable stir fry! The Salmon Teriyaki Bento is even worst, is raw inside, is impossible to eat with chopsticks but use sharp knife instead. Talk to the staff and he change the Salmon for us, wait for 10 mins with 2 small pieces of very over cook salmon. Is very disappointed to a 4.4 star restaurant.

The best Japanese food we've had since our holiday in Japan. Beautiful fresh ingredients and presented just as beautifully. Highly recommend the wagyu steak dish. And try the sparkling Saki...delicious! Well done Erin and staff ��

We were there last night and really enjoyed the appetisers we ordered and shared. Very disappointed in the tempura seafood and vegetables, which was supposed to be a main Meal. We got three pieces of seafood and same with the vegetables, so a very small meal for approximately $26!! When we spoke to the waitress on the size and quantity of the meal, she said it was local seafood and very expensive! Sorry Kashiwa, but we won’t be returning, as there are plenty of restaurants that serve decent size main meals �

Never had an experience here that wasn't worthy of 5 stars. Service wonderful, food never falls short of amazing, lovely staff & owner. Highly recommend, one of few excellent restaurants on the Peninsula!!

Tonkotsu Ramen by the sea. This Ramen dish is my favourite and Kashiwa make it beautifully! The broth was so delicious and the pork was yummy and tender and the eggs were perfect! Best comfort food ever! I highly recommend dinning at Kashiwa. XO

Living just round the corner my wife and i go there often and it is *always* great. The agedashi tofu i would probably trade my left nut for. Now everyone shouldnt go here because i like getting a table and its small but damn, its good. Writing this review has made me hungry. We are going to book for dinner now.

I went thete for lunch on Friday 4th November. Fantastic tasting food and great service. The best food on the penninsula. If you are tired of the same old food served up by the restaurants down the waterfront of Redcliffe this is a welcome change

This is a great place to just relax and enjoy fresh food made to order the Soft She'll Crab is beautiful and the Sashimi is the best ever

Interesting menu, good value for money, quality of food was excellent. We loved it before you had a license, now we will love it even more. How lucky are we to have our favourite restaurant on Redcliffe just around the corner.

Probably the best friend rice I have had. Big tender chunks of chicken and not oily.

I thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere! I haven't had Japanese food before so wasn't sure what to order. I had the chicken teriyaki Bento Box, which was scrumptious! Very friendly, and such a great spot with lovely views over Moreton Bay! I will definitely be going back!

Will definitely go back again, very friendly staff! The only complaint is the timing of the kitchen. The starters and the mains were brought out at the same time. And then when ordering the deserts they came out at different times.

What a great find in Redcliffe! We ordered four appetisers and two mains and I couldn't find fault in any of it!! Very tasty food and friendly service. Very busy on a Saturday night so book ahead. A little noisy when it's busy but absolutely worth a visit!

Kashiwa is definitely a family favourite.  We go for lunch and dinner when ever we can.  Consistently great food and service.  Interior decor is lovely, a great place to spend time.

Great to have a real Japanese restaurant on the peninsula. The menu is varied and has a good selection of sashimi, tempura and Bento boxes. We went for a Friday dinner and was glad we booked as it was quite busy - which is great to see. Service was friendly and efficient. The food was presented beautifully - as you'd expect of a Japanese restaurant and they don't abuse the kewpie mayo!! Am going to make a point of coming back to try their lunch specials.

Amazing Japanese food, so delicious! Have been 3 times now. Friendly and helpful staff, fast service. Accepts byo. Can highly recommend. Will definitely visit again.
