Great little corner shop with lots of character. The food pretty good too chips had a great crunch to them just the way I like them. I have found you pay through the nose though. There are no toilets close by which is also a pain when you got you on kids.

Best potato scallops and pineapple fritters I've had in a long time.. Just up from the water...get some takeaway and have it in the park with fantastic views. They also have a few tables and chairs to eat in.Friendly service.

Cod was moist, fleshy and cooked well. Chips had a slight crunch and just the right amount of salt. Also bought a small aioli which was creamy and complimented the meal nicely.

Great place to eat and be welcomed. The staff were friendly and helpful and confirmed order which was nice to see. Cod was lovely and one of the nicest i have had for awhile. Chips nicely cooked and crunchy and not oily, calamari very nice, Reports of the fish cake a commercially made but still very nice. Only disappointment was the pumpkin scallop, pumpkin was lovely but batter not as nice. Garden salad was fresh and well made, Tartare was a good quality and very tasty

Good little fish and chip shop. A little greasy but not too bad. I'd definitely eat there again.

Food was good. Would recommend it. The fish was good. Chips were one of best around. Even the calamari was done well. Not many do it right.

Extremely disappointed. Other reviews describing the value and low price of this place are out of their minds. $2.90 for a seafood stick is triple or double the price of the same item from local competitors. The seafood sticks are not worthy of this price because it is impossible for any seafood stick to be worthy of that price. The chips are fine, not good, just fine. The only redeeming thing was the potato scallops, reasonable price and quality. This was a phone order, I didn't ask the total when ordering because I never considered that a business would sting someone so hard for a reliably cheap item like a seafood stick. Nor did they volunteer the total cost of the order when l placed it. I'm completely disgusted by this experience.

Old school charm with a relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and great fish and chips. Should be more corner shops like yours, worth the almost hour drive we did yesterday!
