Review Nando's - Scarborough

Thought I would pop in for lunch… big mistake. Advised that there was a 10-15 min wait on food even though the restaurant had only 4 people dining in. I am not unreasonable so ordered, sat down and waited…. And waited… and waited. It will become apparent that the online ordering gets full priority over face to face custom. We questioned the time, and was met with the excuse that they had run out of chicken…. at 1.30pm. However the shortage of chicken did not seem to affect the constant stream of bags being made up for Uber Eats. Asked for a refund as I had run out of time for lunch, to be met with snippy comments from the staff. Just avoid.

Worse Nando’s on earth you would experienced. Halloumi burger was real cold when served as if just out of the fridge. Ask for cold bottle water and was told to drink from the tap !

This Nandos store is consistently not good for take away. The chips are never well cooked or are very soggy, Today my pita had next to no sauce or mayo or even chicken in it. The lettuce was old and not cut up. (See photo).... VERY POOR.

Friendly staff, Paella was good should have gone Xtra hot over the hot, but tasted good. Crispy Bacon & Avocado Salad Chicken Tenderloin were dry. And chips were under cooked. For the type of restaurant was good value and other then the small issue above meal was ok. Parking free & access good.

Love getting a meal from Nandos because the ingredients are always fresh and the food is really tasty

Rarely have had a good experience here over the years (as I foolishly return as it's closer than going to Tuart Hill store). When I used to buy chicken, the serves were much smaller than other stores. Now, ordering a great Pretender pita and chips, they delivered (after 50 mins to mount hawthorn), cold stale chips and real chicken in the pita. As a vegan this is the WORST! Can't get hold of anyone to fix the mistake.

Nice food, ok service and good vibes. The reason behind the “ok service” was due to the fact that the cashier started to speak to the other operator mid conversation, the cashier was hard to understand over the noise behind them and their quiet voice.

My granddaughter and I had lunch at Nando’s on the esplanade in Scarborough WA. We were very impressed with a waitress called Katie who demonstrated brilliant customer service. Colleen

- Gets busy <br/>- Is hard to get to due to Scarborough Beach construction<br/>- Staff are friendly<br/>- Lots of seating<br/>- Good during summer as it is close to the beach<br/><br/>

Its Nando what do you expect??? <br/>Great location wasted on another chain but I suppose they are the only ones that can afford the rent.<br/>The staff are good and the service quick plus its licensed so that makes it bearable!!!

The customer service here is always super friendly. The chips are made fresh and crunchy , just the way I like em. The Chicken is always tender and delicious ! They never disappoint ! 👍🏻

Worst experience being a Nando's lover ! Very poor management only a good location terrible chicken only you can feel a burning smell throughout the whole meal no flavour !<br/>All tables around were messy nobody there to clear the tables !! Left the store with a very bad experience not recommended !!!

Worse every time I go! Staff are either very poorly trained or management do not keep a check on the place. We went there last night and every table outside and some inside were full of dirty dishes. No tenderloins and no ribs available on the night which is a third of their menu. No bottles of tap water which there usually is and the toilets were a mess with no toilet paper. One of my friends had to ask for a refund as when we had finished our meal his still hasn't come and upon asking they said they had given it to someone else by mistake! This place needs to get its act together

Rude cashier!. On the afternoon of 25 of April that is ANZAC they me and wife were there, the cashier girl who her initial is J., was really rude! she did not answer to my greeting, hello or good after noon!!! when I was asking about different taste of chicken she just answer me that is on the top left hand side of the board! I was really fed up and piece of ! I wanted to talk to manager but he wasn't available!<br/><br/>After 3 years living in Australia it was the worst behavior I have ever seen from a cashier! I will tell ant body else who wants to go there that there is a risk of meeting a terrible cashier! If you wanna ruin your day/night you can go there!<br/><br/>hopefully the manager see my comment and thinks more about his business!!!

Waited an hour for food, came out burned and pretty awful. Ineptitude of staff beyond funny

Forty minutes. Lift your game

Getting bad. Visited the Nandos at Scarborough beach. Ordered chicken and rice- complete waste of money. The rice was basically curried rice- plain rice + dried curry spice. I call it colored rice, to make things worse, the rice was re-heated. The quarter chicken size was so small, it looked like a skinny chicken thigh. Too bad

1st visit virtually no chicken in both the pita and the wrap (not even a whole tenderloin) 2nd visit waiting 50 minutes only to be told they had run out of chips! Terrible job nandos
