All the 7 items we ordered from the tapas menu were amazing. Food prepared to perfection.The presentation of the food was appealing. The service was excellent. Live music on a Thursday gave the place a very authentic vibe. I have been there a few times and keep going back.
The Spanish Bar has a really relaxing vibe accompanied by great food and service. The tapas are great and the coffee is hot! Just the way I like it.. it's my go to place of choice for a coffee and relaxing time with friends. I am a mature woman however the Spanish bar attracts families and young people. Set in the iconic Seaford village by the Kananook Creek with its families of ducks .. that you can feed with special seed provided by the cafe management. Well worth a visit!
Simple food cooked passionately. Nothing fancy but how food should be cooked that allows the true flavors to standout rather than adding unnecessary pomp and ceremony that are based on looks rather than flavor.

Great paella that's reasonably priced! Finally found a place I can get paella regularly without breaking my wallet. Steak sandwich was also nice. Good service as well. Recommend!
Cosy, friendly service place with a great menu and vibe. Served by a very welcoming young lady, nothing a problem. Wine by the glass decent and well priced. Food especially their Spanish ‘Shepard pie’ a big winner. The quinoa salad was good but needed something. I skied for some olive oil and that lifted the salad to the next level.
Going bank to try their paella night on Mondays for their deal with a glass of wine.

Great food which tasted so good and was very filling. In addition, the staff were very accommodating, polite, and friendly. We ordered a variety of dishes but the paella was truly the winner for us all.
Went on a Friday night, was quite busy, recommend booking, had the scallops, meatballs and beef ribs all were great ! The ribs were succulent just hanging onto the bone, but fell appart,perfecto. The sauce with the scallops was very tasty, however I love the flavour of scallops so the sauce and the prosciutto was a little to tasty for my tastebuds to be matched with scallops, but that's me. My friend loved them ! The meatballs were very tasty also. Top feed !
Great food and a real vibe to the place. Good range of dishes and prices were also quite reasonable. Got close to a five except for some orders getting lost between the table and the kitchen. But most importantly they need to stop using plastic straws completely. This is not acceptable anywhere but especially close to a creek and drains that would take any stray straws straight to the bay.
Very friendly & attentive service, great cosy atmosphere. Food was fabulous, each dish was packed with flavour. We devoured the meatballs and garlic prawns. A local favourite.
You know when you walk past a place so many times but you never stop. Well I finally stopped here and had dinner. Lovely little Spanish place close to the beach delivered a great tapas style menu and great accompanying wines. The paella was good.
I really enjoyed the service and food. Earlier on in the week, I had come here for coffee, and after reading the menu thought it necessary to come for food. Today was that opportunity. Not overly famished, I ordered the fried chipa (a type of South American rice starch ball, which is flavoured with parmesan, and either baked or fried). These reminded me of my stays in Argentina, and although fried, were very light. I also ordered a beef empañada (which had a bit of egg and olive as well), which was REALLY good and also rivals some of those to which were the best I'd eaten in Argentina. It came with a type of Andalusian tomato sauce, and was impossible to not finish. My friend ordered one of their breakfasts and she was very happy with it. The man, who I assume as the owner, is a proud Argentine, and incredible friendly and someone who develops good rapport with customers. I would definitely love to come back for dinner and would highly recommend for breakfast or lunch!

A small but authentic menu with a nice atmosphere. Friendly staff and well priced food. On my most recent visit I has the breakfast bruschetta. The avocado was a little too mashed being more like an avocado spread that actual avocado but everything else was great.
Amazing every time!! Such a friendly vibe, something a little bit different from the rest, muffins are yummy, beer is good, mussels are delish, they use Bon soy 👌🏻👌🏻 cool upbeat music and live music too!
Really great service, the staff are very friendly and take your order quickly. Food and drinks come out quite fast. The dips are really good as well as the Paella. I would definitely go back

Its coffee is probably one of the best in frankston, seaford area (although this part of 'melbourne' is pretty much a coffee desert).
Food quality fluctuates depending on which chefs are on duty. Food was simply average the first time I dined at there. I revisited the spanish bar last friday and our chefs were asian & african (???) who put up some absolutely delicious spanish food.
Eggplant dip, beetroot dip, bean hummus dip - good dips
Patata bravas - yummy! The salsa(?) was slightly too wet and plain though.
Mussels - the chef cooked them in a spicy tomato sauce and they were fabulous.
Calamari - the first time they missed our order and after waiting 40 minutes, the calamari we had was just meeeeh. The second time its calamari was incredible and even comparable to the rocks (which does the best calamari and fish&chips). It was perfectly cooked, had thin & light batter and wasnt greasy/ heavy at well.
Prawns - the first time they were seriously overcooked & gross. It was the most disappointing dish we had that night. The second time they were great! Delicious!
Melted cheese - who doesnt like melted cheese? Cant fault cheese!
Mushroom and spinach with cheese sauce - ordinary and it didnt go that well with bread. Olive bread was great though.
Ribs - average and they were a bit dry.
I would give this place a four if the food quality was more consistent. But overall, it is a place worth visiting. Affordable price and decent food :)
Extra info: the spanish bar is located right next to a creek so sometimes the quack quack stop by to ask you for bread (incredibly cute!).
Love this place. The atmosphere is amazing especially when there's live music. The coffee's fantastic, nice and strong. The staff are very friendly and they have good service. Food is also really good.
I found the food great.. Service was great but we waited a very long time for the food.. Other tables of big groups who's order was taken same time as ours were constantly getting food where as my table of two waited 48 minutes for first bit of food and large wait times per dish to come out

Had lunch here the other day. Cute little place. Staff were very nice. Food was lovely. Had the anchovies and bread as a starter which was delicious! We then had the paella which was enormous and very tasty, and the calamari salad which had a great flavour but the calamari was a little tough. Reasonably priced. Would go again.
I haven't been here for awhile but thought it would be nice to go somewhere local. We went for the acoustic Thursday and the atmosphere was lovely, the place had a really good vibe. I find the food is just okay here as the portion to price is sometimes off and some items are a miss, but overall a good night and I will be back again.

Despite hearing mixed reviews from other locals (fussy bunch) my friend and I came here unannounced and the young-gun waiter found us a spot straight away - with the best view of the live musician! For a Thursday night in early October we were surprised by how busy it was but after ordering a phenomenal amount of tapas we understood why. The croquette was incredible and well worth the $5 per serve. The pork belly sliders were juicy and my friend and I were lamenting the fact we had to stop because we were so full! Highlight of the night goes to the young waiter who was running the floor himself with a smile and great attitude - it was fantastic to be served and looked after by someone who obviously took great pride in his workplace. My only recommendation is for the bartender to be careful with the espresso martini, I had some iceflakes in mine, sometimes occurs if you use bad ice or shake too hard... still tasted great! I've been raving to all the locals since and we'll all be back together very soon!!
The food was to die for. Tasty, fresh and very little time to wait. Customer service was fantastic, any questions we had were answered without hesitation. They make u feel like your eating at a mates place. My only criticism is that for Tapas the tables were on the small side

I'm so glad we found the Spanish Bar on a cold Sunday afternoon. It wasn't overly busy on the day but is clearly popular. We had a plate of jamon, olives and toasted bread - can't really go wrong with that. Then the pork belly with slaw, which was very, very nice, especially with those sweet cooked apple cubes. The paella was a little bland but even an entree sized plate had the lot in it - chicken, chorizo, calamari, a few regular prawns and a huge one on top - generous and fun to eat. Then some churros (good) and crema catalana (very good). All in all, a very pleasant meal, plus the staff was very nice, plus the ducks in the creek across the street kept the kids entertained, which is always a bonus. Will be back!
Amazing dips! Everything was lovely! Having to run some errands down this way, we randomly searched for a place to eat, and were so very glad to have picked this one. Quickly became a favourite and now a week later we're driving an hour back for more yummy tapas (no errands this time). Lovely service and a few steps from the beach. Keep up the good work, guys and gals!
What a fun place! Nestled between generic shops this place has a sense of energy to it! Ordered the platter to sample some of the dishes and it all amazing! Food, people and music and good time out.
Came here for Father's Day - really enjoyed it. This place really stood out in a long row of boring shops, hopefully other places take some notes! Excellent service, interesting Spanish beers, the coffee was great. I had the spinach fritter - it was layered with bacon and tomato, on a bed of rocket, slightly too much sauce for my liking but otherwise very delicious. Dad had a dish that I can't remember the name of - Plato something - that was several pieces of crusty bread, with garlic olives and what looked like proscuitto/ham - he loved it. Two decent dishes, two coffees and a beer came to around $40, which I thought quite cheap for the quality. Looking forward to going back. It was packed though, and this was on a cool day at the start of spring - Summer is likely going to be busy for this place! Sitting outside with a sangria and watching the ducks on the creek though will be lovely.
Great Spanish cafe. Always crowded which is a good sign. Food was very tasty, staff were welcoming and friendly. Sitting opposite the creek which is full of ducks was a nice little bonus as well.
Went in for lunch today, it was fantastic the food was amazing. The staff where very helpful and attentive even with a busy restaurant. They where very accommodating with our daughter who is 10months old.
We will be back again I think I've found my new favorite restaurant

If you like Spanish food The Spanish Bar in Seaford is for you. Popped in today for an early lunch at the Spanish Bar & ordered the platter (a mix of cold meats, cheeses, smoked salmon, anchovies, olives etc.) and for just under $30 was a flavoursome feast. The waitress was exceptional, friendly, polite & showed a genuine interest in her customers. The Spanish/rustic décor was engaging & the background music was just that. I'll be back and I definitely recommend this eatery to others.

A very happy surprise. Driving up the Nepean Hwy desperate for a decent coffee near 5pm on a grey Sunday we held out little hope. We turned off at a small cluster of shops in what turned out to be Seaford and were rather amazed to sight this bright little corner looked over by an imposing portrait of Salvador Dali. Two rounds of good coffee and a plate of fantastic ham, bread and olives - served with a smile - went down a treat and revived our energies for the remainder of the drive. It's far from home for us, but we are already planning another visit. Highly recommended.

Really nice food. Just discovered this place tonight. We enjoyed the food. 60$ for some tapas, sangria and desert for two. .. We were full and couldn't have coffee. The waiter was very nice. Will go back. They have music on Thursday nights.
A great addition to Kingston dining. A bit light on its offerings, tho'. Had to resort to an Argentine red (Malbec) by the glass; no Cava by the glass available; waitress didn't know what the pincho-of-the-day was... Pan catalá insipid (expensive toast, really); limited choice of beers (only two on the menu, but relieved to see four in the fridge); expensive churros ($7.50 each) and the dulce de leche was strangely bland. Nice, but lots of room for improvement. ¡Buena suerte!

Delicioso!. Very traditional Spanish bar, owned and run by a Spaniard who was only too happy to speak Spanish with me. Great service and really friendly waitstaff. Highlight dishes being the Croquetas, Pan con Tomate and the Churros con Chocolate. Wish I could have tried more dishes though... Next time!
Very good spanish ingredients, amazing white anchovies, chorizo, paella, jamon, cheese...even the beer!! Quite good and friendly staff...recommended to have a good time!!

I would highly recommend a visit to Spanish Bar. It's a great date night restaurant, but also group and family friendly.
The service from Daniel was outstanding, he is very engaging, professional and helpful.
The only downside was the limited vegan options on the menu. But the cauliflower was unique and delicious.
The meatballs & lamb cutlet were very much enjoyed.
We will be coming back.
What a delightful surprise to find this gem off the main thoroughfare. We were hungry but were prepared to wait for the main dish - paella. We also ordered meatballs, chips and sangria to wash it all down. The paella needed a little more seasoning but we enjoyed the seafood. Meatballs were also tasty. Service was friendly & it was an enjoyable meal overall.

We found this place by chance and it made our holiday! Cannot recommend it enough! We ordered the veggie paella, tortilla, one empanada and panqueques with dulce de leche for dessert, everything was perfect and filling. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Excelent ambience and good vibes. We'll be back for sure.
