Review Locals Corner - Seaforth

Good local cafe, the coffee is well made, and the food is also good. Good variety of menu options, including standard breakfast favourites and different twists (such as a bacon and egg roll with chorizo). Sometimes gets busy especially if it's a nice day, so be prepared to potentially wait for a table. Would be nice if you could book a table if you were planning to go out for lunch. This place is also dog friendly (as long as you sit outside) - staff will come and say hello to you and your dog, give your dog a fresh bowl of water, and treats.

Fantastic venue for a relaxed breakfast or brunch - great interior design, good indoor and outdoor space and a really warm and friendly "good" atmosphere. The food was great, while coffee was a bit too over-burnt to my taste. I would come back for the atmosphere and food, less so for a coffee. It took a while to get the order, but it was Sunday morning so I would try again before 9am or after 11am.

Best cafe between Seaforth & Dee Why. Fantastic coffee, great service, food options & quality are outstanding. We have to drive to get there but worth it for the quality. Never been disappointed. Options to sit inside, outside or in a sunny spot. Never bother going anywhere else.

Great little Cafe. The salmon wrap was delicious. Staff is lovely

Be aware of this place. Absolute rip off. Food is very average and coffees come out spilt. Be aware menu prices are quoted excluding GST and they will charge you extra at the till. The manager is very rude and will take you for a ride

THE LOVELY LAMINGTON I was once surprised to receive a delicious Lamington. It was one of these afternoons when I decided to take a break from my office. I went across and Vanija had just made Lamingtons. She came to me and said, ā€œNicolas try thisā€ I already had ordered so I took it with me. I was supposed to bring it back home to share with my partner. However, after opening the bag and trying the Lamington I simply could not stop. It was so delicious. The carefully coconut-coated portion was melting just by looking at it. My eyes could only think about the sampled I took a bite from. When I started to eat again, I was surprised by a rather unique strawberry jam on the inside. It was like having afternoon tea with grandma. The cake itself was so moist it was a delicate pleasure to the pallet. I wish I had taken a photo of it to illustrate my thoughts. I had the pleasure to try some of Vanija's other cake-creations before, but this was something else. The localā€™s corner is truly local, there are several opportunities to eat, and a vast choice of food for every budget. I particularly enjoy the adaptability of team, especially when I turn up almost at closing time. Nonetheless there is always someone trying to accommodate my needs, I find this rather helpful, especially when it is so last minute. I encourage anyone to go to the Localā€™s corner specially to enjoy, good food, time with friends, as food brings people together. Deliciousness brings happiness The Localā€™s corner certainly lives up to that. Bon Appetit everyone

Locals Corner is a really cute local cafe in Seaforth. The food is fresh. The service is pretty good. I had the Spicy Thai Beef Salad which was very nice and fresh. Just not spicy at all. I had to ask for extra chilli which, weirdly, was also not spicy. It was still very enjoyable. But if it says spicy it needs a bit of spice. Overall though this cafe is really nice for breakfast or lunch and Iā€™d definitely go back.

My favourite local cafe! Great food, amazing service and the best coffee in Seaforth. I love coming here for brunch on the weekend and the staff make you feel at home.

I'm a local at Local's Corner and am always treated as such. The staff always have a smile on their face and welcome us when we come in. Great coffee and fantastic food. There's a reason why I'm very reluctant to head anywhere other than Local's for my weekend coffee and breaky. About to head up right now.

Happy to report that I really like this very popular cafe! Come here sometimes when I'm walking my dog and I want a good hot chocolate, or on weekends with the family for breakfast or just a quick coffee catchup with friends. Probably why they call it "Local's Corner"! Ā Staff are friendly and food is good. Warning: if you are trying to watch what you eat....do not sit anywhere near the homemade muffins, almond croissants and cronuts! Totally droolworthy! Have enjoyed the basil pesto eggs, scrambled eggs, yummy baked beans and the smashed avocado salsa. All very good choices! Love my local and their Will & Co coffee!

Large, well presented corner cafe on Sydney Road. We popped in for some takeaway coffees which were okay. Service wasn't particularly friendly.

***edited 09JAN18***

What a difference a year makes. Found a marked improvement in the service since my last visit. Great spot to enjoy a coffee, and loved all the greenery.

I was very keen to go and try this cafe out. I've heard good and bad about it. However, my own opinion is that the staff is alright, they aren't friendly but they aren't rude either. The food and drinks were average so it's not a cafe id recommend. But one thing that I absolutely love about it is that they provide colouring in equipment and activities for children to do... Which makes it a good cafe for families to go to.

Rude service, average coffee and a bland meal (quinoa fritter). The service from the especially rude waiter really put us off really. Would not recommend.

Found this place while looking for a cafe for a friends birthday lunch on zomato. Food was great and really well priced - I had the Tuscan Chicken wrap which was only $9, while friends got burgers and salads which they also loved. Service was friendly and they do great Will & Co coffee, definitely the best coffee in the Seaforth area.

I've tried Local's Corner a few times and the service very much depends on the day. Ironically I'm a local and do not feel very welcome. No one smiles, says hello, and they all look very harried and annoyed to have customers. Ā One particular waiter is very rude. Ā Each time I've been it's taken a long time to get a menu - I've gone to the counter and taken my own menu ( a scrap of paper ) twice. Ā The food arrives very slowly, Ā and the last time I was there I had to leave before it arrived. Ā 30 minutes is just too long to wait for lunch.

Have been coming here for the last few Saturday's for coffee and occasionally breakfast and I'm loving the strength and the consistency of the coffee. I had an egg white omelette which was delicious.
