Review Eka Cafe - Seddon

So today I had the honour of stumbling upon this organic food & Cafe retailer. What a beautiful ensemble of individuals that are the custodians and creators of this unique beautiful environment. Their produce is all organic and excellent quality and the cafe is like none other. The wonderfully calm and charismatic character who is responsible for the creations that come out of the kitchen aims to produce a sugar free organic experience. Do yourself a favour and grab yourself a breakfast at this venue one morning.

We have been going here steadily over the last couple of years, and want to point out the now “not-so-new” management is fantastic! We have had to take up the delivery option, and still received all our goodies in paper bags and jars, not a piece of plastic in site! Great communication, reasonable cost - highly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our falafel bowl. The flavors were delicious. Ingredients were fresh and meal was so wholesome. Lovely grocery store out the front with reasonably priced ingredients. Service was friendly and ambience was so peaceful.

I've been wanting to stop into this cafe for a long time and finally got to today! So happy it finally happened, Casey gave wonderful assistance and the tofu was the best I've ever had.

This place. Love the long tables and also the pillow arrangements on the raised sitting platform♥️ so holistic this whole place, it just makes you feel good. The food, treats and drinks are very healthful. I shop at the package free shop for everything from flour, tofu to peanut butter!

Friendly staff. Delicious menu available in cafe section. Huge range of bulk buy, zero waste items. Vegan friendly :)

I’ve been coming here since it opened and loving it still. I’m glad to have whole foods cafe in the west that not only do they serve delicious vegan food, the grocery section is packed with delicious vegan products. Kombucha on tap is another great sustainable way to recycle your glass bottle. The floor sitting option reminds me of being at home and I love bringing my laptop to get some work done whilst enjoying delicious food 😋. My gratitude to the staff and their warm welcoming attitude. FYI to the owner, please do something about the flies, especially in the warmer months. Perhaps have a fly screen doors? Just a thought 🤔🤔.

I cannot speak highly enough of Eka Wholefoods. I adore the space and the feeling of calm and community that the owners and staff create. The quality of the bulk food and gorgeous medicinal teas are fantastic, and so are the prices compared to many similar bulk stores. Being able to get bulk natural cleaning products and groceries in one place is a blessing. So much gratitude to a local, independent store that allows me to shop low impact and plastic free!

Went to Eka for the first time today, for lunch and it was so enjoyable. The food was delicious and all the staff were really friendly. Get the vegan toastie!! You won't be disappointed. Thankfully we only live a short drive away so will go here often and also start buying our bulk goods here too.

Love this place, a real oasis in Footscray. Has been a year since I ate there last & the menu has grown and a few little cosmetic changes have given it the relaxed 'food for the soul' feeling. Friendly, happy staff who exude the care they put into the delicious food. Everything about this cafe shows the love the owner & her staff have put into it. Look forward to Rhubarb being open at night. it won't be a year until my next visit.

This is one of the most welcoming spaces in the West. Nourishing food, wonderful staff and everything they do is infused with pure love and light. My happy place!

Delicious lunch and friendly staff. I’m very fussy about my coffee and it was great. Also helpful staff looking up ingredients to ensure my almond allergy wasn’t triggered.

I stopped in yesterday and brought my own containers with me. They were very friendly and happy to accommodate my needs. I'm so pleased that weve got a great place here in the inner west that has a super range of organic goods all with minimal/no packaging.

Disappointing customer service. One week I went three times to buy wholemeal flour. First time, not in stock - no stress, these things happen. Was told come back at 1pm tomorrow, it will have been delivered by then. It wasn’t. The third time I called beforehand, was told it was back in stock, went straight to the store to be told by a different staff member that no, it was not in stock. Very frustrating.

Super wholesome and delicious food. The Indian scramble is the best I’ve tried so far! I would also recommend their matcha smoothie! Beautifully balanced flavours and food that makes you feel good. It’s completely vegan with lots of gluten free options. There’s a super relaxed vibe to chill and enjoy your food prior to grabbing some items in the bulk foods section or grabbing a raw cake to take away.

Obsessed with this place! The fresh food, vibe, staff...it’s just such a cool place. Must try their snickers bar, it’s amazing and also tried granola bowl is deelish! The chef was so down to earth, loved she showed a lot of passion with her food. Will definitely go back. Also, best matcha latte I’ve had anywhere!

Food served is full of flavour, staff are friendly and very accommodating. We had mushroom and kale on sourdough, a vegan toastie, and a tasting platter, and left feeling so happy and satisfied. Will definitely come back to try the other menu items and check out their wholefoods!

Love this joint! You can sit down with cushions. Amazing service and food. Rice paper rolls with the sauce was delicious. The bao buns were also really good. Mushrooms on toast was fantastic!

So in love with this beautiful place.. Walking in for such a yummy, delicious meal.. tofu soba noodle salad so on point. Banana bread and coffee.. too addictive. Always leave with more goodies ( carob bananas 🍌, tea and kobucha 😻😻😻) ..Staff are so naturally friendly and know their product so well.Interior is inviting and makes you want to stay a while.❣️

I love this place. <br/>The ambience to the food. <br/>I’ve popped in a few times to grab quick lunch and they have always speed up the order. The coffee is awesome too. I don’t know, I could be biased knowing it’s a vegetarian restaurant but I’m yet to have a lousy service/meals.

This place is my favourite in the area. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is so relaxed and lovely. I've tried several items on the menu, including their coffee and cake and I am yet to be disappointed. They definitely focus a lot on ethics and this is a great place to go if you want to support small local businesses that are all about being fair trade and environmentally friendly.

This awesome little cafe is also a wholefoods store, so you can grab your bulk organic wholefoods after you have enjoyed your meal. There are plenty of nourishing options on the menu for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free mums and you are supporting a great local organic business by visiting - win win! @plantbasedmum_

This place is a hidden gem. It’s right on a busy intersection so it’s not close to the main seddon area, so you can park on the street and walk a few steps to it. <br/><br/>It’s a really friendly place with bulk health foods, plus the restaurant serves beautifully presented vegan and vegetarian food. You can huddle on the cushions on the raised floor instead of chairs so i took off my shoes and just chilled.<br/><br/>Definitely will be back.. it’s one of my favourites to visit.

Delicious gyoza, and roast veggie, vegan cheese and pesto sandwich. <br/>There is a bulkfoods section that has a good selection of vegan cheeses.

I stumbled upon this place today and was so impressed by the service, the produce in the wholefoods area... and I ate the very best vegan sandwich, accompanied by a delicious iced chai.
