Friday night is date night, and our first time popping by to enjoy a meal at the Palais.
We were not disappointed.
We enjoyed 2 vegan options the eggplant parmi and the roasted cauliflower both were really really good. We will certainly be back!
The staff were bubbly and helpful and the location is perfect.
Only thing that could improve the experience is a few more vegan options added to the menu. Well done guys and thank you for a great experience.
Great seating area (sat outside with our puppy) friendly, helpful and efficient staff and the food was amazing!
Oysters tasted great and the schnitzels were delicious, perfectly crisp and the chips and salad on the side were delicious as well!! Definitely recommend to eat here!
The Palais is such a picturesque spot, boasting a grand frontage as you approach and and amazing summer outside area to enjoy cocktails and drinks as the sun sets over the beach. In winter, the venue is still quite nice inside, however very cold in the extended indoor/outdoor eating area. The food was really delicious and well presented. The drink specials on the board weren't as shown and a bar staff member was quite inattentive, poured mid strength beer as the beer special, didn't follow through with a request for more seating and for a venue that would clearly struggle for business during the winter months, this was a negative. But the other staff seemed quite friendly and in all it was a nice visit.
One of my favorite place, our local Bistro. The food is the best, the service is casual, simple and quick. Been here countless of times have to take a photos of the area next visit.. soon.
Friendly service, clean tables. Partner liked the party, said side salad was great and was happy with gravy although not the thickest! Love chicken burgers try them all over Adelaide. Chicken crumb was 10/10. Found it overall a little dry even though the freshest avo and ingredients needed a little more Mayo or something. Still 10/10 for both meals. Good work to the venue lovely afternoon spent out in the sunshine love the outdoor area 😀
Been coming here as local Semaphorian for many years and overall the food and service has been consistently high. Delicious, good quality produce, great presentation and pride is served from the highly organised kitchen team. Manager Simon and staff are absolutely terrific with hospitality and helpfulness. If you're not happy with something, (being reasonable) they will sort it out without a problem. A Semaphore staple by the seaside with a great vibe. Huge screen TV for sport lovers resides in a separate area. Love the new outdoor decked seating and bar space. Perfect during the good weather months. Good Covid measures. Love this venue 🌴 🌊
Right on the Semaphore sand dunes the Palais is a vibrant and elegant eating venue. The atmosphere inside is bright and light whilst the eating outside option is fabulous.
The sharing platter was tasty and enough for the four of us. We also shared oysters, fish and prawns.
Wine is reasonably priced too.
Our go to place whenever we visit Semaphore beach. We always try searching for other restaurants but end up coming back to Palais because of their delicious food, reasonable prices and good quantity. Love their Chicken schnitzel with parmi and kilpatrick toppings. The only dish i did not like personally was the Beef schnitzel since it was very chewy and rubbery, but again, its a personal choice. The spicy chicken wings were indeed spicy and juicy <3 . Will be coming back for more Calamari and Wine :D Thanks for having us Guys...
