Final verdict: great cafe tucked inside a suburban area in Shelley with excellent seating area around the cage. Very friendly staff and good food. It would be good to serve chips with the burger rather than buying it as an extra add on. Other that great place to hang out with family n friends.
The local hidden cafe. Food and coffee are always good. Good place for a catch up.
Love the coffee and breakfast. Great little place
Nice location, ample parking and cafe looks bright, clean and comfortable.
They had fresh donuts when I last went and it was a nice surprise. Maple pecan donuts.
We also ordered the potato rosti and buttermilk chicken; safe choices and tasty.
A place for great coffee & cafe food. The area is comfortable to catch up with friends. A hidden gem for the area. The only down side is the food menu changes too slow so feeling a bit boring if going too often.
Have been meaning to come here for months, finally had the opportunity for lunch today. Really nice place in back streets of Shelley. My fried chicken bao was yummy and brewed ice tea was a nice change. Hubby said his potato rosti with egg and bacon was "OK" and his ice coffee was "good" (said in a happy voice..haha). Service was quick. Small all day menu, so half more what I would call breakfast food, so a few more lunch options would be good, but food was enjoyable anyway. We will definitely come back for breaky to see if their eggs benedict are any good 😉
I have been here a few times now and the coffee is always great! The ambience is groovy and relaxing and we had breakfast for the first time today. We ordered the mini avocado smash (vegan option) and the mushroom medley. They were both absolutely delicious, and we would come back to have them again. The reasons i havnt given 5/5 stars? A bit of a nightmare for a vegan - unless youre a health life insta babe. Granola and an acai bowl are the only standard as is vegan option. Otherwise we pay the full price for a dish minus the feta, bacon and other bits. Not having a vegan mushroom dish is a huge gap in the menu not to mention dissappointing for mushroom fans. My non vegan partner asked to add the mushrooms to the potato rosti dish instead of the bacon/salmon but was told that they cant do mushrooms as a side. A bit of a miss in that regard, but the dishes that we had were perfect.
We were lucky enough to host our engagement party last night at The Tribute. Caleb exceeded all expectations and helped make the event run smoothly. He was only too happy to help with any detail, no matter how big or small. The space, the food (YUM) and the entire process from start to finish was delightful. I highly recommend this space to anyone that is looking to host a stylish, intimate event — your guests will thank you for it. The space was totally transformed and was exactly what we were looking for. Thank you to everyone involved for making our night SO special. We will never forget it!
One of my favourite places for breakky in Perth! Have been there countless of times and it never dissapoints. Food and the coffee is incredible, staff are super friendly and the overall atmosphere of the place is warm and welcoming. I will be a regular visitor for years to come.
I highly recommend The Tribute. The staff are always friendly and the coffee on point. I'm loving the new Canada Burger. I had it (again) yesterday and it doesn't disappoint! Looking forward to getting back soon 👍
Tribute Coffee and Kitchen is my absolute favourite place for breakky. The service is friendly and inviting where staff always have a warm, welcoming attitude. The menu has the classics as well as new and exciting seasonal meals. A true part of the local community while delivering exceptional food is why I return time and time again.
Fantastic food. Great service! Definitely worth it. Place is warm and inviting and overall a great experience. Highly recommended. Will be going here again for sure
This place is amazing! The food is delicious, the service is always on point and is a hidden gem in Shelley. One of my favourite dishes is the smashed avocado for brekky closely followed by the mushroom medley. Highly recommend this place, definitely one of my favourite eateries.
Friendly staff, great food and the coffee is spot on. The new Canadian burger is amazing! Nice to have a quality local cafe that this community was screaming out for
This is A hidden gem in the neighbourhood. Simple & modern environment. Child-friendly & animal friendly. Breakfast and brunch was good. Aroma coffee to go for. If there is more variety on the menu I would go for 5*
I have eaten here countless times and I’m always impressed by the outstanding quality of the food & coffee. The staff are genuine and warm and always create a super fun vibe. Beautiful fit-out and atmosphere too. Definitely one of the best cafes in Perth which keeps me coming back again and again!
Went here for birthday brekky. The place is so lovely with beautiful decor. Went here around 9am today so was glad could sit straightaway. I ordered Chai latte and egg Benedict with streaky bacon. Hubby had the Canada burger and tea. Server was very friendly and food came out within 5 Mins. The bread on my Benedict was so fresh and very generous three pieces to soak up the hollandaise. Hubby thoroughly enjoyed his burger 🍔, was very delicious and juicy. I would highly recommend and can't wait to come back soon.
I’ve visited this cafe quite a few times now and always love coming here.
The ambience is warm and relaxed, the food and coffee is consistently good and the service has always been super prompt and friendly.
Prices are standard, perhaps a little on the pricey side and the portion sizes for a few menu items are a bit small for what you pay (the avo toast, waffles and chia pot in particular are items I’ve tried and felt I couldn’t justify the price for). I’ve really enjoyed the more substantial options they have on offer though 😋
Overall, this is a lovely place to catch up at and you’ll quickly understand why it’s so popular with the locals once you’re here - definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area!
Most wonderful place with the best location- just a short walk to the river. Most wonderful staff as well ❤️. Love the food, the changing menus are always amazing. Would recommend the fried chicken burger 👌🏼. Good coffee, best company. (Side note: can imagine you’d get a bit stuck for parking in the nice sunny days in summer, so get in early!!!)
Went to have brunch with few friends today, I ordered the mushroom madley and latte. They were delicious! Glad we found this place. Will definitely go back there next time.
Food is alright. Coffee is good. Love the waffle that I had. Service is good. Staff is friendly. Mushroom bread is not as good as what I had before. But it is still alright.
We had a lovely Sunday breakfast at this breezy suburban cafe.
I recommend the mushroom medley it was delicious!
The coffee was so good , the best I have had in ages and the services was fantastic. All of the staff were super friendly.
We will be back, thanks for a great breakfast.
Excellent and friendly service - our favourite post-parkrun cafe. The new sunshade is a great addition that makes the pavement tables a pleasure to sit at...
Came here on a busy sunday morning brunch with the fam, including my baby nephew. Hats off to the service staff. My nephew decided my cappucino was no good on the table, but the friendly waiter gave me another fresh one - on the house! I had the breakfast burger, which to my amusement was one of those trendy goth burgers, however the bacon in there was hot and crisp. The chocolate smoothie bowl was pleasing - both to the tummy and to the visual senses. A great local joint I'd definately revisit :)
Lovey suburban cafe getting weekend vibes right.
1/2 serve Smashed avo with perfect poached egg needed a bit of salting but otherwise glad for the half serve option. The big breakfast had juicy mushrooms, crispy bacon, peppery rocket, French butter with hollandaise for days; delish!
No table service during the busy brunch period but there were a few seating options inside or outside. Self-serve water and cutlery and the time from placing an order to being served was quick. Standard pricing, friendly atmosphere and good company.
this place has a cozy interior with a clean aesthetic. the service was extra friendly, and the food (i got the mushroom dish, but have also had the big breakfast before) was delicious. great place for a catch up with moderate prices for what you get.
Came here for brunch with a group of friends on the weekend, this cafe was pretty packed. All the food was delicious except the smoothie bowl was quite a small serving according to my friend. Coffee was good and great service.
I tried the muesli and pomegranate molasses with yogurt and fruit, it was nice but nothing to write home about. I think he coffee is divine and perhaps next time I will try the eggs on toast!
Been there this morning with my hubby and my little fella Lola the dog. They had good coffee. And you should try their new menu cold brew ice tea, really nice to beat the heat during summer. The place is nice and dog friendly. The staffs are friendly and helpful.
Have been here twice now and had exactly the same thing both times... the mushroom medley. I’d like to think next time I’ll have something different because after all there are quite a few delicious looking dishes I’d like to try but I know that the thought of those creamy truffle mushrooms will suck me right back in.
Food aside though the cafe is nice and modern, coffee is great and staff are friendly! Makes breakfast Wednesday’s a treat ;)
We could smell the coffee aroma from a distance.. I ended up having two mochas . Hard to find places that make good mocha. This cafe is one of it. The smashed avo was pretty good too
Coffee was delicious 👌🏽👌🏽 I couldn’t believe how busy this cafe was on a Sunday around 10:30am when we arrived. We had to wait 10 minutes for a table and 35 mins for our breakfast after we ordered. But that was okay because the coffee made up for it which we got within ten mins of ordering. Dogs are allowed at this cafe outside. The cafe is a bit cramped and the waiters often had to manoeuvre around people. The photo is of half serving on smashed avo add two eggs and spinach. I thought it was a bit expensive.
I came here on a sunday morning for breakfast. This place gets pretty busy during the brunch hours.
Coffee is good and service is fair.
I had the big breakfast which was ok. Ill have to come back another day to try the other selections.
really bright and cheerful corner cafe. quite busy though and our food took about 30mins+. .. so that was a bit of a shame. asked about it ans they had accidentally misplaced the docket... so they gave us a full refund, which was nice. coffee was good and menu is pretty nice. staff were accommodating.. and pleasant. could smile a bit more though :)
porridge was amazing.. so good.
This place is awesome. Our rotary club chose this place for our get together based on recommendations and they didn't disappoint. The place was buzzing the whole time. The staff calm and friendly and the food was deluxe. If you are near the Shelley area, do yourself a favour and visit Tribute Coffee and Kitchen. We all highly recommend it (all 20 of us).
A beautiful new cafe in Shelley. Easy to find. Easy parking. Pristine inside and out. Friendly staff.
My cappuccino today was perfection in a cup.
I took a chance on the ancient grains porridge and although beautifully presented, it didn't quite deliver on taste for me. The pear was over-poached and a tad mushy on contact. The porridge itself lacked the sweetness I expected. Even the addition of sugar syrup supplied with the dish didn't alter the taste and I left feeling like I might've had more luck with the granola (it was always going to be a difficult choice).
This cafe is tiny. Weekdays you have your pick of the tables. But I can only imagine the crowd on weekends. No seating for large groups either.
Dined here today for brunch. On a weekday already buzzing with customers at 10.30am. We had the tribute big breakfast which had pork and fennel chipolata, mushroom, grilled tomatoes, bacon, eggs with MSB organic sour dough; and the tribute sarni which had bacon, fried egg, smashed avo, cheddar cheese, greens, grilled tomatoes, kewpie mayo inside their charcoal brioche burger buns. Delicious food. Great service. Definitely coming back to try other dishes!
Great new cafe in Shelley. Delicious food and great coffee. Staff were friendly and the cafe looks amazing. Stoked to finally have such a great local!! We will be back.
Truth Be Told Australia
+5
What a ripper cafe this is, the decor is fresh bright and airy! Finally a cafe south of the river that is on par with cafes you would find in the city or Freo!! We visited here in a Thursday as we heard it can get busy, however we must have bet the others. He had the tribute Sarni 👊🏻, super soft brioche bun, filled with bacon, egg, cheese smashed avo and all you favourites really. YUM. I chose the mushroom medley!😵. So happy I did . Mushrooms so full of flavour , eggs cooked well, and the truffle sauce needs to be bottled, it was that good . The chef clearly takes pride in what he does .Prices are fair and I can see this place doing really well . Hope they open for dinner soon with a license maybe ??
Small and adorable- extremely busy but prompt serving of food and drinks. Delicious food but not too much variety. Lovely staff and nice atmosphere.
Came on busy morning. Noisy environment but nice modern decor. Parking a little scarce. Had the mushroom medley that is delightfully tasty ... a lot of greens ... the poached was a little well done. Wagyu beef burger was interesting but beef could be more juicy. Finished with pancakes that were. Tasty but a bit dry.... I think I need more butter. Coffee did not disappoint.... overall nice way to start the day with good friends.
Great coffee! Delicious food! And friendly service! Highly recommend! Definitely what they area needed... if only it was bigger because its so good and popular
Flavoursome food; average serving size; we had to wait a while for our food (buttermilk pancakes + big breakfast) but they were quite busy at the time. I would go back sooner or later!
Really busy when we went on Sunday morning :) but still very very nice! I ordered the pancakes with apple, vanilla mascapone and they were delicious! Light fluffy and a nice balance of flavours.
NEW MENU: both the smashed avo and the rosemary vanilla pannacotta were amaze!!
Really busy when we visited on Saturday morning, so understandably, there was a long wait for our food. Service was friendly and so delightful despite the constant and relentless flow of customers. My almond milk coffee was superb, best I've ever had from any cafe. So many more dishes to be had, really looking forward to visiting again!
A bright and relaxing cafe followed by friendly staffs, good coffee and food; just what SoR need more of. They used Grand Central coffee blend which I love, made by expert Barista who worked at one of my favourite cafes before. My friend had Mushroom Medley. The sauce was nice and creamy but needed more seasonings. My Tribute Sarni was tasty. Bacon, fried egg, smashed avocado, cheddar cheese, grilled tomatoes, greens, kewpie mayo compliment each other really well. It'll be perfect if it comes with chips though. I will go back to try other dishes for sure.
Our party of five just had a lovely lunch here. Although the place was packed & we just managed to get a table inside, our food didn't take too long to arrive at all! The wagyu burger & the big breakfast was well cooked, delicious & generous. Coffee was also excellent! Well done for a new cafe, will be back!
