Natalie and team make the best pizza in Cairns! Their crust is perfect, not thick or too thin and tastes like a real Italian pizza. Recommend it highly. Great service friendly staff adds to the whole experience.

Best pizza I’ve had in a very long time. We’ve just moved to Cairns and I felt like a wood fire pizza. We tried our luck with Makin Dough and it’s safe to say this will be our regular take away pizza place. The Bufala pizza was exactly what I was craving, crust cooked perfectly, so fresh and tasty. Pick up order was ready in good time despite being a Friday night. Very reasonably priced too for how good the pizzas were. Thanks again!

For the price we paid this pizza and garlic bread was terrible. The garlic/pizza bread was burnt and most of it was inedible. Didn't taste like there was any garlic or maybe it was just burnt off. The pizzas just tasted like they had cheap ingredients and really weren't that nice. The supreme was $25 and it tasted like they just threw some cheap ingredients on it and put it in the oven. Would not recommend.

We wanted to treat ourselves to some authentic Italian pizza so decided to give Makin Dough at Smithfield a go. Couldn’t have been more impressed!! The pizzas were sensational! So flavoursome, with just the right amount of toppings and the perfect base - a bit crunchy and a bit chewy….delicious! We ordered via the Makin Dough app which was intuitive and didn’t miss a beat. And the other great thing was that, even though being a Friday night they were absolutely kranking, the Pizzas were ready in record time. Would highly recommend Makin Dough Smithfield next time you’re keen on a delicious, authentic Italian Pizza!

Makin Dough we’re 25 mins late with delivery, and the Margarita pizza we ordered was crust, a pizza base a spread of tomato paste with a sprinkling of cheese. Disappointing

A family favourite of ours. We love the thin crust Italian style pizzas especially with a glass or wine. They open early which is great for an after school snack or an early dinner. The kids love the gelato selection. They even have an eclectic cocktail menu. Try their Nutella specialities.

Great Italian food with a lot of variety. Recently I tried the pesto, parmesan & garlic twist which was absolutely delicious! The staff are always friendly and welcoming too.

Really delicious pizza. The toppings were full of flavor & the crust chewy. This would have got 5* but the service was VERY slow. I waited over 10 minutes to be served (with no one else at the counter). Didn't get acknowledged by staff until the chef in the kitchen asked if I was being looked after. Pizzas were cold when we got them. So much room for potential.

Excellent service, great menu and the best dough in town by far. We have tried most and can’t recommend Makin Dough enough.

Love that they make their own dough daily! Kids loved their pizza and Lasagne was gone in minutes. Highly recommend. Service great - lovely staff! Great location in the Smithfield Village Shops.

The Bufala easily one of the best pizzas I’ve ever eaten! Amazing bases... I can easily eat the entire pizza on my own and then some of whoever’s got some left!

These ladies make excellent pizza, and have great service. So happy they opened their own place after moving from palm cove! And they don’t charge like a wounded bull for extra burrata cheese. Keep up the great work ladies.

Best pizzas in Cairns and the service is just as good. Definitely recommend this place!

Just finished dinner. The pizza's were really tasty. Appreciated the apologies for the delay, we could see they were really busy and we didnt mind. It was worth the wait. We will definately eat here again.

I have never had anything but delicious and fresh meals from here!!!! There isn’t many we haven’t tried and we have 0 complaints! Keep it up guys. ���
