Review Seacrest Village Chinese Restaurant - Sorrento

Absolutely fantastic food. Table service was the best we've had at any Chinese restaurant, probably beret than most restaurants we've patronised. Try this resturant, I'm sure you won't be disappointed.

Great neighbourhood Chinese restaurant serving decent HK-style Chinese cuisines at a very reasonable price. I was fortunate enough to have a long chat with the owner and head chef and learnt a lot about the history of this restaurant. Staff were all friendly as reported by other reviewers. Highly recommended.

1. The kitchen at this place really excels. This meals are fresh, rich & authentic. Other chinese options north of Perth are not close to the quality offered here, always. I have tried many of them. 2. My family relishes the chance to catchup in this friendly & familiar setting. 3. We get a thrill when we can get a laugh out of Marina.

Ordered special fried rice and BBQ combination. Was cold and nothing special taste wise really....but $34.50 for 2 dishes!!!!! Disappointing.

Marina always has great meals. We have been going there for the past 30 years and have never been let down by the quality of the meals.

Best Combination Chow Mein I have had in Perth, great Special Fried Rice. Authentic food, good price and their restaurant was full. I will certainly buy here when I am back in the area

Not a bad Chinese restaurant, but not a good one either. Large portions is a bonus here , but a lack of quality is what lets this restaurant/takeaway down. Almost all of our dishes which we selected was a gloopy stodgy, mixture of over cooked meat and vegetables, the soft noodles looked and tasted like they from out of a 3min super noodle pack. On a plus side the king prawn rice was very delicious, and was satisfactory. And that was it really. The meal was alright but nothing special.

Ordered takeaway from this place at least 30 times over the years. Decided to take the family there for a meal and dined in. The restaurant was dirty and dusty. The Lady owner provided rude and unpleasant service and this was extremely disappointing especially as we are local and regular customers. This was two years ago and I haven’t been back since. A real shame as I liked the food.

The lady on the phone was very rude that she completely put me off from ordering. I think anyone who answers the phone should be able to be patient with costumers and are ready to explain any confusion with the meals. I don't doubt your food is lovely but a bitter/ unprofessional staff can put me off.

Always a great meal! Food is always fresh & delicious. Service is great and meals come very fast. The squid with salt & chilli and boxing chicken is fantastic. Every meal here is great! Definitely recommend

We got takeaway as we had been out site seeing all day and it was late and we were tired. When we walked in we were worried we might have to wait a while as it was quite busy but our order we ready in under 15 minutes. We enjoyed to food so much we went back a couple of days later and ate in and had the $25 per head banquet which is such good value. We had mixed entree and a chicken & sweet corn soup, we then had to pick 4 mains to shared with rice. The garlic seafood was beautiful and full of seafood (not fake crabmeat), sweet and sour pork was yum as was the satay beef and chicken in black bean, all finished off with ice cream. People of Sorrento are lucky to have this little local gem, food is fabulous and so reasonably priced and service from what is obviously a family business is great. You should give it a go if ever in the area

Don’t waste your money on the dinner special! Only a couple pieces of meat for half the price. Food is yum but as you can see by the photo it’s not worth the money. I paid $24 and got lots of rice. Go for the full menu price better value.

10 June 2016 Seacrest Village Chinese Restaurant, Had take away food tonight that was stale and tasted old. On me calling to complain the owner (lady) argued with me and I was told to bring the food back. When I arrived with the food to exchange it, the owner continued to argue with me, rather than just exchanging, she proceeded to challenge the situation with excuses?? (Shocking customer service!!!) all of this in front of other patrons!!!<br/>Never again!!<br/>

Yet another great meal at Seacrest Village Chinese Restaurant. We had the Oriental Appetiser entree followed by salt & chilli squid & black pepper fillet steak. The Appetiser was tasty as usual with a good combination of flavours. The squid was tender with just the right amount of chilli & salt. The black pepper fillet steak was also nice, although some of the pieces were quite big. Very tasty meal. Service was excellent.

Takeaways from here have gone down hill over the last couple of years. Tonight the 'crispy' noodles with the Chow Mein were so stale they were inedible. The peanuts in the chicken Szechwan were totally soft, ruining the dish. I wonder now if the meat was fresh. It is a shame as after the C Side closed down we don't have a decent Chinese takeaway close by.

This is my goto takeaway Chinese. Love their Satay Beef, Special Fried Rice, sang chow bow, and crispy skin chicken. My rating 7.5 out of 10
