Was very disappointed tonight. Ordered tonight at 7:10 and picked up 25 minutes later. The grilled fish was barely cooked and was clearly put on the grill right from a frozen state. It was a thin fillet like eating rubber. Honestly!
This is not how you cook fish.
With the high prices we pay, is it too much to ask for unfrozen, local grilled fish when you order Fish and Chips these days? Or are we all expected to be mugs and just cop it?
Will do it myself next time.

The cleanest fish and chips in Perth. Nice golden batter which is thin crispy. You can tell the oil is regularly replaced and kept clean unlike other chip shops.
Great family business and service is top notch.

As take away fish and chips go, these are about as good quality and reasonably priced as they come. One of our friends went to pick them up and it is quite a long wait on a hot Friday evening but it was worth it! We had the seafood basket and as well as a good serving of snapper and chips, there were prawn cutlets, scallops, and calamari rings.

They manage to have a friendly family feel while still being very professional. Everything is always fresh and crisp and the batter is never too thick. I always seem to get a little more than I ordered or perhaps they are making up the weight in fish as I'll often get a few smaller fish with the big ones. Fish and chips is usually a mixed bag with a place doing something great and other things horribly but I've never been disappointed at the quality or price here. The worst thing that ever happened to me here was thick potato scallops and when I pointed it out they made a change, so it's reassuring to know they listen, too.

Good fish and chips. High quality fish and service with a smile. Bought a family pack for around $30 and sufficiently fed myself, wife and two kids so very affordable will recommend to a friend

I heard about this fish and chips from a friend and I went there last week, bought the seafood basket and the food was high quality and the service was great! Will recommend to anyone in the Marmion area !! Affordable and non-greasy, will definitely come again! 👍😃

Spanish Mackerel and chips. I have had this in the past and its been good.<br/>Today unfortunately I ordered 2x grilled Spanish Mak for the extra $1 grilled. I got 2 big rectangles and 2 very small triangle or fillets of fish, all battered. Most of it was shark with the 2 small pieces mackerel. It was all battered with nothing said/no refund. Its sad to think this was to disquise the look of the 2 different fish.<br/>Its unfortunate as i love Spanish Mak and they are local but I will never go back now

Seriously the best fish & chips in Perth!!!! Not greasy & heavy like most fish chips it was just so light & tasty!! And to top it off wasn't overpriced & the service was lovely they even specially made me up my favourite sauce to have with fish & chips Mayo & tomatoe sauce mixed together a simpler version of cocktail sauce! Will definitely be back!!

Would recommend!. The fish and chips are beautiful and very reasonably priced too! I am not normally a big fan of fish but the snapper here was amazing! Will definitely be back.

This has got to bethe best fish and chip shop in Perth. The Spanish Mackrel is superb and the chips are fine. Can't say what the other fish is like as we love the Spanish Mac so much!

A nice find. I spotted this place on urban spoon and thought we'd give it a try. <br/><br/>A couple of things stand out for me. 1) Their standard fish is fresh snapper NOT basa as is often the case. You can of course choose others.<br/>2) They cook directly in front of you and their fryers are extremely clean.<br/><br/>The fish, chips, squid rings, and prawns were all excellent. 25 dollars fed my wife me and our two young kids.

Consistently the best. Since trying this place about 5 years ago I have driven there from Morley ever since. It is the best fish and chips I have ever had, the service is great, the portions generous and the quality is consistently extremely high.<br/><br/>It may take me 25 minutes to get there and another 25 to get back but it is always worth it.

The BEST Fish & Chips!!!. Fresh seafood, great service, great variety, great value, generous servings and great great great tasting fish and chips!. You won't ever go to another fish & chip shop after trying Seacrest Fish & Chips. Friendly family business & staff provide an old fashioned & humble service. The cost is crazy cheap (probably half the cost of going to somewhere else local & let's not talk about the over-priced marina).More importantly the flavor is fantastic & always fresh!!

Best Fish & Chips in 10 years!. After years of eating 2nd rate fish and chips at places like Hillary's Marina, finally I have found a Fish and Chip shop that knows how to cook great fish. I asked the owner what fish he recommended, and he suggested either the Spanish Mackerel or Gummy Shark as he sourced the fish locally. We tried the Mackerel, and what an outstanding piece of fish this was. Light crispy batter, firm white tasty flesh, cooked in fresh oil, the fish was outstanding! This was the best fish and chips I have had in Perth, which includes many of the top rated fish and chip shops on Urbanspoon. I can't wait until summer when I can take the family down to Hillary's Marina, and enjoy the quality fish and chips brought from this Sorrento establishment. And to top it all off the prices are cheap! My rating 10/10
