Every day after school I go to Brumby's Bakery to buy food. I mostly get the custard rolls and sometimes cinnamon donuts. I also get other things, it looks a bit old fashioned and might need a renovation. It is good that the lady is always waiting for the customers to arrive. Overall I think that Brumby's Bakery is excellent.

So came here on a Sunday afternoon at around 1pm, so understandable that there wasn't much hot food left. No vegetarian pie options, only vegetarian pasties and cheese and spinach rolls. But they had no rolls left. The pasty was pretty good. Your average pasty. The younger lady who served us clearly had better places to be. Quite blunt and bored.

Monday 17 January, the 2 staff members were NOT WEARING A MASK! if only I had the forethought and guts to walk out with a pertinent comment!

Ok the bread and pies are great. Service was good and the stock level was fine. The signs said only 4 people inside and this is what people did. All good so far. The problem was most of the staff don't know how to where a mask or were not wearing one. Absolutely not good enough. What with the high number of people milling around outside waiting to get in and the new outbreaks in Melbourne it's not good enough. Brumby's, by this time should be setting an example. Not good enough. I won't be going back till this is fixed.

Had a very positive experience here. The food was very good. However it was the kind staff member who really made my day. Though I am a person of color, I felt I was treated with kindness and respect.

I think the previous reviewer noted that it is an average Aussie bakery. I had a sausage roll, which was fine although not sure how much meat was in it! Service was very friendly.

My croissant was delicious, I was lucky because I got the just before it closed. My croissant was DELISH and big. I recommend bying from this bakery.
