Great atmosphere, delicious food, fantastic drinks and amazing customer service! The oysters we had for our entree were fresh, juicy and tasted so good, we could of had another dozen! Seafood linguine, lobster spaghetti and eye fillet were AMAZING!!!!!!! Hands down to all the amazing staff there who were attentive and looked after us superbly, so difficult to come across such good customer service these days but everyone there was fantastic. Highly recommend you make a booking and enjoy beautiful, authentic food! Can’t wait to visit again soon ✨

Absolutely cannot say enough nice things about Sardo. The food was incredible, such quality ingredients. The best part was our waiter the wine connoisseur from Boston who recommend the absolute perfect bottle of red for our table. Even the non wine drinker had a taste. Definitely would come back again just for the caprese salad alone.

Fantastic food and great service. The wait staff recommended some delicious Sardinian wines to go with our pasta. The chocolate dessert was amazing. And that’s just not my post-lockdown rose-tinted taste buds talking. If anything I’m much more discerning about dining out than I was pre-Covid. Definitely worth the $$.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Red flags galore. Rudely spoken to after waiting to be seated. Booked an outdoor table thinking it would be quieter however we found ourselves sitting in a what seemed to be a cheap nightclub atmosphere with loud club music from speakers directly behind us. Prices are over inflated. We decided to leave and felt like we dodged a bullet. Go elsewhere for a good dining experience and don’t waste your money.

I visited this restaurant with my family on Friday night 28-1-22 . Food was nice enough but unfortunately that is where the positive ends . My family and I were looking forward to visiting this restaurant but we were quickly met with the most arrogant and rude wait staff we have ever encountered. From the moment our orders were taken the wait staff were very inattentive and sadly lacked the basic customer service skills to engage with us as paying customers. Regardless to what social status you presume we have, you should not make your customer feel that they are not worth the time of day based on whether they are carrying the latest designer bag or not. In reading the reviews of other patrons it is very clear the same issues are brought up time and time again. We love Sorrento and have been to many restaurants on the Mornington Peninsula but we will not be returning or recommending this restaurant to anyone .

Both times I have visited this restaurant, we have had issues with older members of the staff/management being extremely rude. When I asked politely if we could have the ‘club like’ music turned down a little bit, as my 80 year old grandparents and I were seated right next to the speaker which was high in bass and sitting on the ground next to our feet. His response was “we don’t do that for customers and you’re welcome to go if you don’t like it.” Absolutely shocking to treat customers who ended up paying $800 at the restaurant. On reflection I wish we walked out. The food was beautiful but the rude staff made our experience ugly. As locals, we won’t ever be returning.

The outside seating area is lovely and the ambience on a balmy night was perfect. Food was delicious and a good time was had by all until we had a flea jump on our table and mozzies started to surround us and other insects were crawling on our feet and legs, which we assumed came from the artificial grass/carpet on the floor. We actually went to the supermarket to buy a can of Bushman's to stop our legs being eaten alive. Then the skies opened and it rained so hard, people had to move as gutters and parts of the roofing just leaked and overflowed. No fault of the owners here as you can't help the weather. When we asked for coffee, we were told they don't have coffee. Never been to an Italian restaurant before who don't serve coffee. Then when leaving, we met the owner / manager who must be the arrogant guy every one talks about. So rude. Despite us being bitten and soaked, he was still so rude. We had a battle with the payment as he demanded one card per bill. We were not able to pay half of a bill each. He pulled the card from our hand and put it through anyway so there wasn't any need for his drama. 5 stars for food, 1 star for managers service and attitude. (Zero for coffee ).....

I don’t normally leave reviews but felt compelled to after the way one of the waiting staff (high ponytail) spoke to my family. One of the portable speakers was next to our table and the music was excessively loud (with two elderly present). We asked politely if the music could be turned down a bit or the speaker moved away. The waiter was hesitant with his response but said he would ask his manager. Upon returning he said that nothing could be done about the music, that ‘you can go’ as an option if we chose. Yes that’s a real quote. It was the rudest customer service that we’ve ever experienced at a restaurant. It left a bad taste in our mouths for the rest of the evening. You got our money tonight but we won’t be returning after being spoken to like that.

Ravioli was delicious, entree size was a decent size. Staff were lovely. Outdoor dining area out the back is great on a nice day

Over priced for what was served up. Very disappointing. Fish over cooked, pasta over cooked. Not really anything like a Sardinian meal. Staff were nice enough.

One of my favourite Italian restaurants in Mornington peninsula. The food is authentic and the service is very good. Thank you Stephano for your hospitality!<br/>We ordered pappardelle with lamb neck which were absolutely mouthwatering.<br/>Overall a good experience and if you’re around that area, try it out!

Come here with my husband and my Italian parents. there was really nice vibe to the place. The pasta linguine seafood were delicious and the service really friendly. Definitely a suggested place for lunch and dinner out! Bravo !

Dined for dinner as a group of 5. I ordered the goat & was very disappointed. It was a bowl of bones for $34. Hardly any meat on the bone, bland & no flavour, didn't look appetising, menu said served with jerusalem artichoke which there was none & wilted kale which was tasteless & served with a few potato looking wedges. Everyone else on the table ordered pasta & enjoyed it so I was left disappointed & hungry. They charge $8 for a lemon lime bitters which is ridiculous! We sat outside & the music was so loud we had to yell at each other to talk & we felt like we were in a nightclub not a restaurant. Service was somewhat friendly. When we got the bill they overcharged us on drinks, when we advised them, they questioned us by saying are you sure!! Overall a very disappointing meal & night for me. Very expensive prices for what you actually get.
